Pineapple Chiffon Cake With Whipped Cream Icing

  • For the chiffon Cake
    8 egg yolks
    80 g sugar or 1/3 cup plus 1/2 tbsp
    100 of pineapple syrup from the can of pineapple crushed
    100 ml oil
    1/4 tsp salt
    200 g cake flour or 1 1/4 cup
    For the Meringue
    8 egg whites
    1/2 tsp cream of tartar
    100 g sugar
    for the Icing
    2 cups whipping cream +100 ml extra whipping cream to include pipping and decoration
    450g of crushed pineapple with the syrup drained
    1/2 cup powdered sugar (I measure first then sift)
    Optional : pineapple chunks to decorate the top and 3 pcs. of cherries

My groupmates and I used this for our kitchen laboratory earlier today and we got a perfect score especially with the chiffon cake because of its perfect texture! 💯 The taste was also amazingly delicious ❤️ Not too sweet and the pineapple juice just blended well with its taste.     I made this cake for my mothers in-laws birthday and it was the best cake I have ever tasted. people at the party were asking for 2nd and 3rd serving. It was super moist and so delicious! Thank you so much for the recipe!

    i tried your recipe and it works!☺ instead of using oven i tried to used steamer and it taste good.steamer is more easy and convenient to use,no worry to burn your cake.

    You should sprinkle pineapple syrup generously on those layers when u layer them it turns soo good

    The way u speak is so cute...I would suggest to sprinkle some syrup on the cake before applying cream or pieapples...and some essence

    Hi dear. Very beautiful recipe, I have problem with whipped cream, it's not stabilized for longer like during icing or frosting, its start melting and not settled on my cake, although I care about temp, and same ingredients used .....what can be the issue

      Male sure you are using whipped cream that is atleast 35 percent milk fat , and do not over whipped is as well .

      +Kash Mindee don't blend because it might turn all to liquid but you can just slice the pineapple chunks into smaller pieces

      Thickened cream in australia but basicallynits any cream that is 35 percent milk fat

      +Ayesha Nacorda it hold pretty well as long as you stabilise it, but one thing about using whip cream is when you are not serving the cake, the cake must stay in the fridge
