Welcome to the UA-cam channel of House + Holm! I'm a mama of three sweet little ones and am married to my middle school sweetheart! I have to say I love the 2nd option frame for the kitchen, I totally agree with your thoughts about having it tie in with the wood of the island

The orange painting looks better on the wall, it brings interest and colour to the space. Fruit by the kitchen works well in my opinion

I love your decorating videos! I like the color that the floral picture over the fireplace adds as well as the bowl of fruit picture on the counter! I love the deep green and soft dusty blue tones added to the neutrals in your home. I would find a vertical picture that has those tones in it for the wall in your kitchen. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Skye, you mentioned being indecisive on decor for your home previously and being afraid to buy anything… You mentioned taking a picture of your space before going to the store… This is an excellent idea!!!
I do it all the time now, I use an app which is free, called pic collage…..
it allows me to place a picture of my home and then layer it with another picture of the new piece that I’m thinking about buying ….I even add lighting to see if I would like certain chandeliers in my space… This has been a lifesaver and has even helped me help other people decorate their homes! Hope this helps others!
Trust me it’s super easy to do or I wouldn’t be able to use it😂 (I’m by no means tech savvy 😂)
It may take a few extra minutes in the store but it sure saves time and effort returning unwanted items back to the store 😅

I don't think anything will be returned! 😂 I'm with you on the picture in the kitchen, but you might want to get non glare glass as you can't really see the print for the light. It could be your camera. Can't wait for the bathroom decorate! Any transformation is great for me! I just love watching you my sweet friend and I'm so happy you're feeling better! That is what I was going to say was to add a tray I think it might pull everything together. Yes the frame looked really nice on the wall it ties the island in to the space. I think the oranges and greenery picture is really nice. Love it all.

I agree with about the wooden frame being were the peg rack was and I love the lemon print In your kitchen. You were so fortunate to get the lemon print, I have been hunting for it ever since it came out with not luck. Your home always looks so lovely.

I love the frame that goes w/ the antique island n yes vertical! I start in March I have been getting my stuff together n I get to organize n spring clean as well, we just had a snow storm the other day, I am from Pa, so I have the pine, neutrals n snow flakes up, so soon here to decorate for spring, we do winter here for sure! I love the orange print on the counter❤️ since you have the gallery wall just right there in the sight line, I think maybe a long cutting board with the same wood tones as the island would look nice. But anything you choose will be 😊 great

Skye I have to agree with you, I like the wooden frame in the kitchen. Also I think a tray would help tremendously on the coffee table. I have a book with a candle & candle snuffer on our coffee table currently…

Really like the McGee print..looks good with that mirror. Think your idea of a vertical frame is good and the wooden one. I like the one with oranges where you put it. Hope you can use the shelf somewhere you found at The Depot.

Sky living room I love all the Decor I really love the way you put together the frames. I think that the one in the kitchen with the peaches looks just beautiful a great pop for the area and of course the other frame that you put in the kitchen I think that’s going to look beautiful and actually it could go vertical or horizontal. Great Video today. Just a little bit of greenery makes a big difference. I love the orange pic on the countertop. It adds a little color is that spot. I also like your idea of placing the wooden frame vertical on the wall. It seems to fit the wall better.

Skye, I'm so jealous that you found the fruit picture. I've been wanting it and can't find it. Fruit is so in right now. My vote is for you to keep it. I purchased a small fruit picture frame at an antique store for $45. Nothing compared to the Threshold framed art. It will look beautiful on a shelf style It will add just a little POP of color to your cozy home.

Hi Skye. What a great video! The paintings you picked up are just wonderful and I really like the one with the oranges on your counter. It adds that little extra touch of color but not too much. I also like the one you want to put on your wall near the kitchen and I think it looks really nice vertically. I also love to pick up those adorable bunnies but I also have to stop myself because even though they are not real, it is suprising how fast they multiply in our homes. 😏

Hi Skye, Your home is beautiful as always.I like the second option print also.The other one looks nice on your cabinet.I ended up finding a large cutting board with rod iron handles and put it on my coffee table it gave me the hard surface needed.I found it at Ross for less store.I just didn't want another woven tray.Hope that helps.Bye

I love everything in your haul! I have loved that print from Studio McGee but they didn’t have it in our store but maybe a day and refuse to have Target ship anything that can be damaged. I’ve had to return so many items because that do not pack things well. Those gold bunnies have been calling my name, they are adorable. The other print with the fruit looks great on your counter but I really like the other frame on the wall. I do believe you need maybe a large brass or wood tray on your wicker ottoman. Also, Kirklands has 20 to 40% off their pillows this weekend only. I haven’t been thrilled with anyone’s pillows this year. Oh well, I will end my novel here. Thanks for the inspiration Skye! 😊❤😊🌸🐇

I feel like we're in the same situation as far as decorating. I want to add more color and art to my decor but I feel like it's tricky when I love my neutrals SO much!

Also, I know Charlotte has lots of Targets like you said, but sometimes I have more luck going down 77 to the Dave Lyle exit and visiting that Target. If you decide to venture down to Rock Hill, there's also a Hobby Lobby, Ross, TJ Maxx, and Michael's all right at the same exit. 🙂 Oh, and Kohls as well!

I rarely shop Target, my e does not have all of those lovely things but love the print and bunnies most of all. Your entry table is just so tranquil. I love your finds and seeing how you used them was fun. I like the gold pic on the countertop. You have a lovely home! I have the same wicker chairs in my breakfast area. Is it hard to find the smaller cushions for them?
Thank you so much, Julie! ♥️ When we bought ours, they came with the cushions. The covers are so easy to throw in the wash with some baking soda and vinegar, so I haven’t needed to replace them. I know Ikea has some smaller chair cushions though! Might be worth looking into!
