I have the same Ostand case. It jolds my Iphone 15 perfectly and stands up securely.
Based on leaks that happened a few months ago, the next iPhone worth upgrading to will likely be when they can put Face ID fully under the display, so not at least until 2027-2028
I love that phone case, it seems the design is sleek and it has a phone stand without the bulky feeling.

Mostly (non-enthusiast) people care about camera and speakers.
For me, the camera quality, storage, and battery life is the priority. They need a substantial upgrade to the ultra wide lens. I end up deleting too many of them due to poor quality. I am a frequent traveler and those memories are important!

@@cristibaluta no no, it can’t. iphone has a powerful speaker on the bottom right and another one on the earpiece. But 13” macbook pro has 4 speakers which are loud and are better than ipad pro speakers, which are far better than iphones.
And if you go for 14”/16” once, the 6 speaker system is a banger…!
Yeah the stabilization of the 5x camera really is legendary, holy cow it’s good.
For the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I hope for an even larger camera sensors across the board, at least for all three rear cameras. The main is already huge but you can never have too much light intake; especially for video where the noise reduction processing is much harder to accomplish. But especially the ultra wide and telephoto need larger sensors. I feel like, if there are any limitations to the 15 Pro Max camera system, it would be that 1) the telephoto could almost always have done well with more light intake for indoor shots, and 2) the ultra wide could use more pixels (48 MP anyone?)
I own an Ostand case. Excellent case, amazing quality, I have been a customer of this brand for as long as I own a smartphone.
Got the 15 PM as my first PM. I think this is good for at least 5 years, especially with the USBC.
just upgraded to a 15 pro max from a 12 pro max last week. no complaints so far but the upgrades that really felt different for me are the cameras and promotion (and smoother gameplays especially in games like honkai star rail) other than that they're pretty similar.
Any issues with charging?

I would say iPhone X 12 & 15 are the legendary upgrades. Typically for me it’s a major change in design. 120hz and battery life are amazing but not legendary in my opinion. The USB-C is such a huge improvement and the switch to titanium is big.

Switch to USB-C has been a pain for us as one would need to have all family iPhones upgraded … and we tend to get one new iphone and then hand down iPhones through the family, so it will take us few years to transition, and sharing charging cables or using cables in the car means we need two different ones and swap around

I have the same iPhone case, and it's lightweight. The magnetic design is also very convenient to use. Most importantly, it has saved my phone from several drops.
Feels like yesterday that iPhone 15series was out!
I've had many other cases where the kickstand failed due to design flaws, but Torras seems to be doing great in that aspect.

Using 15 pro max for 4 months now and decided to come back to android. Reasons for that are mainly related to user experience. I’m not in eco system though. I prefer system navigation and keyboard experience on android. Android device is more compatible with different 3rd party devices as headphones, tvs, windows pc, etc. So tried this with apple but at the end will not continue…

extremely well optimized battery and phone alwyse efficient doesnt really get hot like s24 series so i ended up keeping 15 pro max

USB- C and all the things Apple openly allowed users to do was very impressive. As someone who wishes to shoot in the wider field of view, I am excited that they are finally improving this portion of the camera. It is sadly the only reason I did not upgrade. But now I will.

iPhone 16 Pro i'm ver optimistic about, but I have big expectations. If there is a way that I can reach 10,000 with the geekbench 6 multicore score , as android is threatening to reach abysmally quickly, on top of having that graphene chamber, there will be significant reaons for me to trade in. The iPhone 15 Pro i only bought because "it has the USB C port", and partially MetalFX.
Who cares if the Geekbench score is higher, there’s no difference in real world use. Many are still fine with their iPhone XR
I’ve had mine since the day they came out and I have few complaints. The only issue I have is the battery…but that’s on the iOS not on the phone itself. I’m so much happier with the iPhone 15 pro max over the iPhone 12 Pro I had. I enjoy the no-notch so much. I had the X, XS, 11, and 12 pro’s and that notch wasn’t noticeable after a while but when I have to use a friends phone and they have one it’s very obvious to me now. Really sucks for people that got the 13 pro’s and got teased with a slightly smaller notch, only for the 14 pro to introduce the Dynamic Island.
I have switched from iPhone 11 to iPhone 15 Pro Max, but what remains the same is that I'm still using a Torras phone case.
I have an IPhone 13 Pro. I love the cameras, but the keyboard makes me crazy. I still have a Samsung Note 20 and I still like it better overall. So, I take photos and video with the Iphone (sharing is great on Iphone) and the Samsung for pretty much everything else.i do. So, best of both worlds and will continue doing this for as long as I need a second phone specifically for business.
I have a 13 mini and don’t care about getting a newer iPhone. This one already does everything I need it to do and these things are almost always the same every year anyways with only small changes. Only the tech nerds say you need to upgrade immediately.

This was my first iPhone upgrade that was disappointing. I upgraded from a 11 to a 15 for 5G compatibility. It was very glitchy and power consuming. I would have to charge it several times a day to the point I looked up what features to turn off to conserve battery power. That fixed the battery issues but they shouldn't have features that drain your battery so fast. Also I don't like the response of this touch screen. It is unresponsive sometimes and were i touch is different than where it is reading. Also the smart home compatibility and functions are behind compared to the competitors. I started using google home as my default for these functions. I also don't like the fact that there is only esim cards vs a physical sim card. I travel overseas alot and swap sim cards when I get to other countries instead of paying roaming charges. I use to be a diehard iphone user but now I am considering a google pixel for my next phone unless apple gets their act together. This phone is a big disappointment.
I would not say AI could improve the action button as AI are not smart. The action button should be programable by recording some user actions and then repeating them.

Omg, I have to deal with problems with camera almost every time I use it. I’ve had many android phones over the years and the iPhone 15 pro max is by a clear mile the buggiest phone I have ever experienced and worst of all, the only bug that was ever fixed is the update for the over heating problem!

Wait for the 16 Pro Max. I love my 15 Pro Max because the battery life is better than the 13 Pro Max that I got on release, but it’s given me the most issues mainly with the camera. The selfie camera doesn’t produce the best photos sometimes and the telephoto camera will sometimes have weird artifacting in my experience.
@@sorrai I legit am using a 13pro max right now and after reading this, I just wait for the 16- IF there's any real significant changes. So far my 13pm is still working just fine. I guess the 15 has some issues, going by what I've read. Hopefully the issues are worked out by the 16.

I hope you’re right about the 16 and Apple is gonna fix most issues because this year the main focus is iOS 18, so maybe Apple will work on that good enough to give us a bug-free iOS like iOS 15. Also, batteries are gonna get bigger and the 16 Pros are gonna have more power efficient n3e A18 Pro chip compared to the n3b A17 Pro chip on the 15 Pros, and a more power efficient MLA OLED screen.

I carry 3 iPhones all times, a 5 year old XS Max, a 13 Pro Max and a 15 Pro Max and oh boy, that XS Max Oled display is the best … I wish my 15 Pro Max was as nice

I went from a 6S+ which they no longer support. So it was a big upgrade. Worth the outrageous cost (price of a laptop)? Not when I'm being blown out of the water two years later. Nothing but churn and AAPL greed. However compared to camera equipment prices and depreciation it's not a lot of money.

@@LavKarri I had the 6S plus until I recently upgraded to a 15 pro max, battery lasted about 7 years before it became unusable, took it to my local repair shop, they charged me just £30 to change the battery, after which battery life was like new again. was tempted to upgrade with the 12, then 13 but the pattern of incremental upgrades made me wait for the 15, because there was nothing really special about the new iPhones over the previous generations, there are no standout must have features anymore, same can be said for all smart phones.

To be honest I have the IPhone 15 I always get the base model. I am always disappointed Apply only give this model some castaways from the Pro and Max a couple of years later. Last year it was the Dynamic Island. I find that totally boring don’t even use it. It would great to get some really good updates like Titanium.

I have the iPhone 14+ but I don’t think I’m gonna like that new charging port mainly because I have his little plugs that I put in to the charging port that keeps lint and dirt out of it. Those won’t fit in that one besides don’t they have wireless charging anyway I don’t understand why the 15 has a charging port, I would just use the wireless charging

I feel the same way about my 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 PM is just version 4 of iPhone 12PM design. With some minor improvements. I just had the Apple Store replace the old battery and my phone is working perfectly.

Just don’t see that it’s enough to upgrade every year. We’ve reach a climax of hardware minus subtle changes in the camera. For Apple it’s going to be about its software. A.I. will be the key to their success but they are a bit behind already since the S24 already has several features. Rumor is Apple is relying on Google for help in their software to roll out to capable iPhones. If you have a 15 Pro Max, you’re good for 2 more years.
and now the new Mac I got uses MagSafe so the usb c isn't all that. I use a 14 pro btw
USB C is the de facto universal standard for all modern gadgets and devices. Don't lie to yourself. Apple is just greedy recycling lighting, so they can continue selling subpar and outdated lightning accessories to people like you. My MBP also comes with MagSafe but I never use it, I just use a ugreen 300W charger and a 150w USB C cables to charge everything from my MBP16, iPhone, airpods, iPad, switch and whatever else life throws at me. Don't kid yourself, lightning is terrible, I'm just glad apple finally switched over (even if they were forced to) it's so comforting knowing I can use a single universal cable to charge all my devices

I cant say goodbye to the Black 14 Pro Max :) I like that extra weight and it is a bit thicker. My wife has the 15 Pro Max and it is great but a bit too light and thin for me. I also still have my back up phone my S21 Ultra (which is still a bad ass phone) even in 2024!
Apple will make their userbase so mad if they restrict new ai features to only the 16. Literally no one upgrades every year anymore so they would be trying to force a mass upgrade and it’s just not gonna happen meaning Apple AI will bomb and nobody will use it

Apple are not giving upgrades most people actually care about. Almost every new feature could be followed by the words, “who cares?” The 5x camera looks interesting. The other upgrades are just blah, blah, blah that most people don’t care about.
Correction - this years “Applegate” made people really aware of battery heat and battery life. I expect to see some major improvements in that area, after all the bad press this year.
Apple's problem is not really the hardware anymore. It's all about the software now. If they can just make good updates on all the apps as they should, it will be perfect! Just a few changes here and there in the software with drastically change the way we use these devices. For instance, I hate how you can quickly edit an entry when trying to make a call unless you complete delete out the entire number just to retype again. It's absolutely bunkers!

I still rate my iPhone 15 Pro Max telephoto behind my old Galaxy s21 Ultra for distant photos: my daughter on stage at her school chorus concert; the fox or owl in the woods behind our house; the eclipse; the Moon. I know the argument about how the Galaxy processes Moon photos. But just pointing and clicking on my iPhone usually gets an out-of-focus blob rather than a sharp shot, never mind the details. I wish Apple would give the 5X a 48mp sensor. Then it would match the current Galaxies!

They did restrict the new 24MP photo option to the 15 despite the 14PM having the 48MP sensor and A16 chip. I am seriously wondering if AI is another feature that most people won’t care about. A bit like the stupid “action button” gimmick. But some people do want the latest gimmicks.
