Burp Pass Not sure Luffy’s mom will play a huge role but I’m definitely excited for his meeting with Dragon. I kind of expect Luffy to not care at all to meet him or say "I don’t want to" when given the opportunity to meet him
I think the remaining Strawhats are gona be tied to specific moments left: -Franky with meeting Vegapunk -Robin and the secret of the Void Century. -Chopper and saving Luffy's life. -Brook reuniting with Laboon. -Jinbe and whatever happens with Fishman Island, wether it is destroyed or relocated. But yeah, your analysis makes a whole lot of sense.
Meeting vegapunk and have direct ties with the ancient weapons, it's pretty much 100% guaranteed that Franky will play a big role, his "second arc" so to speak. As for Robin and the void century, that is also obvious, but I think she will just perform her "fixed job" of reading poneglyphs (and remains a sex toy because, why not, that's what the target audience wants). Nami will be just like Robin, she will perform her "job" as the navigator in the crazy unseen territory at the edge of the world, major role to actually reach the one piece... but that's it, I don't think she will have more character development (and again, she will remain a sex toy). And before you wonder why I didn't mentioned Franky's job... well, there's a moral ambiguity surrounding these weapons, maybe the Sunny is the ancient weapon itself, maybe not.. how and why franky decides how to use his knowledge, that's a defining character moment. He torched the schematics, but he and Iceburg (who will also be brought back to the center stage) they both surely memorized the whole thing. 20+ years in contact with the schemes, they know how to make the damn weapon. So, Franky bluffed in enies lobby (that one major character moment), now we will revisit this story arc. Other than Franky, maybe Usopp will solidify his image of "brave warrior of the sea" in Elbaf through sheer luck, but that would be more of a continuation of his arc than another defining character moment (because, at the moment, Usopp already acquired some courage and he became a decent warrior of the sea through his own skill)
It would be cool if Nami has her own arc like She is the lost princess of a kingdom since she only adopted so we might know more about her real parents something like that lol.
Fantastic video! Also want to point the correlation with the Grand Line group of Straw Hats in each of those arcs. Brook in many ways was Sanji's correlating Straw Hat, and Whole Cake Island had Brook being the MVP. Chopper similarly correlates to Zoro, and as a Zoan user and antidote to the Beast pirates chemical weapons, Wano is also set up for Chopper to play a major role. Then we have Robin who correlates to Nami, who will be an essential piece in the Raftel arc. Finally, despite less foreshadowing, I feel Franky must therefore have his moment during Elbaf, home of the great giant ship builders.
I think Nami asking Enel to take her to the moon has some deep story implications. Our navigator will shine spectacularly toward the end of this adventure.
@@MrMorj I've been forced to keep this to myself out of fear of being ridiculed or told that I was reading too much into things. But I find it quite suspicious that Nami's birthday makes her a Cancer, a sign ruled by the moon. The moon controls the tides. And in the story of One Piece, Luffy's journey toward freedom is literally and figuratively guided by the waves, which is what Nami's name translates to in English. Luffy's birthday makes him a Taurus, ruled by Venus -- which is also known as "Morning Star” or “the Evening Star”. The planet shines so bright that it is the first “star” to appear after the Sun sets, or the last to disappear before the Sun rises. Finally, the planet Venus is also known as Lucifer -- light-bringer or bringer of the dawn, a title which fits Luffy's role in the story. The world of One Piece is shrouded in metaphorical darkness. And Luffy has been bringing the light to the people that he's met, and towns and countries that he's freed. Luffy ringing the golden bell perfectly encapsulates his role as light bringer.
Also Nami's dream and goal is to draw a map of the world. If she wants to draw a map of the world, then Raftel is undoubtedly her arc because it is the final island that will actually make drawing the map possible.

I don’t really agree with that, Sanji and Nami’s dreams both somewhat get fulfilled at raftel (the all blue undoubtedly being near raftel and raftel being the last island for Nami to map) but i think it’ll be more luffy’s arc. I know luffy doesn’t really have arcs cuz he’s the main character but it’s because he’s the main character that I think he’s gonna main in raftel. Luffy getting to raftel = finding the one piece = becoming king of the pirates and we’ve been waiting for that since One Piece began. Luffy becoming king of the pirates is more important than Sanji finding the all blue and Nami drawing a world map combined.
Robin also has her dream fulfilled by going to raftel because she’ll finally find out about the void century but I think after she does the straw hats are gonna try and get justice against the world government for hiding what happened during the void century and doing what they did so maybe raftel will be an everyone arc:
I think you captured the Zoro arc conversation perfectly. I was hoping it would be, since it's the land of Samurai, but it just hasn't quite felt like it so far. The fact that it's such a big arc with so many little subplots has made it a little difficult to keep track of - I didn't even remember that he has the vendetta with Yasu. I hope his focus increases at the climax, enough that it feels that way without having to reread. You do have some pretty convincing points though, like the Oden parallels. Elbaf being Usopp's arc is obvious, of course, but Raftel being Nami's arc is the REALLY interesting part. Never thought of it, but it makes so much sense, and I do really want to see her development there. Nami's original dream of mapping the entire world doesn't seem like something within the focus of the main story, but I bet she'll map out Raftel's true location and reveal it to the world. (Also, not really directly relevant, but there's a little thing I love about Nami's development during Skypeia. East Blue establishes the theme of being willing to put your life on the line. But Nami usually thinks that's ridiculous. But when fighting Miss Doublefinger she starts to value her ability to fight on her own more. And it's during Skypeia, when she's alone with Enel, that she makes the decision to go against him and put her life on the line rather than be a coward.)
In Chapter 22, Gaimon was protecting all the rare animals that people tried to take. I think this is supposed to resemble joy boy protecting all the different races from enslavement and oppression
Just to add to Luffy's personality or strength that compliments with Sanji: 1. KIND (Sanji's Core) 2. Dreamer (agree with you on this) 3. Strategic/Rational (being luffy is reckless, sanji's strategic strength compliments him well.)
Sanji's definitely there to knock some sense into luffy when needed. In water 7 zoro told luffy he needed to man up and accept his own actions, but sanji kicked luffy and stopped him before doing anything he regrets.
@Heru Jr. of Kemet how is he the most aggressive strawhat?? The only time he's truly aggressive is when a woman is in danger. Also the "food" thingy is just the channel that Oda chose to use for expressing Sanji's kindness as a character trait (the whole "i will never let anyone starve be it a friend or a foe") just like, for example, he uses Usopp's design (the long nose specifically) and many goofy things he does with luffy and hell, even his dream of becoming a brave warrior even though he's an easily frightened character, as a channel to express his child like behaviour

I think this arc is for Zoro, because we know he has a connection to wano, but also the creator of the swords he carries. I think elbalf will be for uusop and for I think franky will get one because of his connection to vegapunk. But I think we will get more clearer stuff on the rest of the crew.
Also, I think the one piece isn’t what everyone thinks it is but it will be something that will help luffy specifically or is another piece to working the weapon or controlling it
I think this is the Combination of many different things... -The arc where we finally gonna see all Strawhats thought ,this is literally the first Mager Arc in New World where all Strawhats are together and we finally gonna see what they are capable of. -SuperNova arc finally after Sabaody Kid,Law and Luffy are meeting and also 3 other Super Novas. -Yonko Alliance arc in the first time in history two Yonko are teaming up. -Zoro arc finally seeing the Country what Reyuma is mentioned back at Thriller bark and his ancestors Land. -Revange arc of Kozuki family where they are trying to get, what they lost. -Arc where Oda prove he doesn't respect womens (Big Meme pirates arc) 😞😞😞

Someone counted the panels and Zoro appears in the 2nd most panels in wano, only behind Luffy. While it doesnt seem like much compared to Sanji and WCI , Zoro got so much action already and the biggest thing was that he got Odens sword and Oden is the most important and ominpresent character in this arc. Comparing Wano to WCI, Sanjis wedding was the main and only plot going on. The tea party literally was the wedding so it doesnt work comparing these two arcs. wano will be way bigger
My problem with this hypothesis is that it generally ignores most of the object that the crew has laughtale and the one piece The reason we all mostly thought robin would get a piece is that even in previous arcs there has always been a moment where robins explain the writing on ponegliph, Nami however get almost no shining moment so forcing would be weird Plus with robin being the only reader of ponegliphs we know so far Blackbeard would likely want her in his crew and if not him Akainu, or even I’m-sama so it makes no sense Thirdly even if we were to say that Nami must navigate them there even that task can be handle by Robin as she a and point out the way using the gliphs and with Jimbei as helmsman he will so Nami job not essential near the end
Even in Whole Cake Island, Brook had his moments and MVP level moments, even with fights like Luffy vs Katakuri, or the whole story line of Sanji going on. There's definitely room for more than 1 Straw hat(besides Luffy cuz he's always in the spotlight) to shine. I don't know if I completely agree that Raftel is Nami's arc but even if it is, Robin will still have room. Plus Robin is interested in the history of the world, but she has no connection to that. Unlike Sanji during whole cake island, Robin's past is already known. The only part not known is how Ohara ties into the Void Century and if they are really just researchers or their ancestors knew something. This means that Robin will probably be at most the 3rd main focus after Luffy and another Straw Hat because of lack of new things that you can reveal about someone who we already know about. Just like how we knew about only a part of Sanji's past (How Zeff starved himself to help Sanji), we know only a bit of zoro's past(his Dojo training with Kuina). I'm using them as examples because I'm trying to say that there needs to be spots to fill in for each character to have an arc. It's possible to have an arc of Zoro because there is more to Zoro than we know, even if it is just about his lineage. My whole point is that Robin probably won't be the focal point of Raftel even with all the history that will be revealed in that arc. She will probably be the 3rd SH behind Luffy and another one. The 2nd one besides Luffy might not even be a SH as it could be showing Blackbeard's history for example or even Roger and Rocks.
Something I would like to see Oda do is kind of sprinkle some character development for the straw hats as the arcs progress instead of having a whole arc focus on a certain character’s backstory and development. I will say I enjoy Whole Cake Island’s approach with it, but for instance I think what Water 7 did with the crew dynamics and characterization was brilliant, without even investing too much time with it.

Some of my favorite OP moments include the ones when Zoro sets Luffy straight and tells him to act more like a leader. He is definitely the best right hand man a future King of the Pirates could dream of
A love the way Zoro respects Luffy and would die for him in any moment! Currently watching the anime for 2 months and i am 342 episode deep in to the story and i love the show.. its a pretty big thing considering the fact i only watched 1 anime in my entire life that was Naruto.. and i am only reading the Boruto manga.. Yo just saying in the Arlong arc in the Nami flashback it said that Bellamire rescued Nami and her sister from a war where both her parents died, I feel like nobody talks about this enough. Like they really gave us no information on that war and I really feel like in the future Oda could elaborate on that.
"Take Luffy where he wanted to go"... this is so meaningful in so many ways. Nami is being set up to be THE Navigator. The one who gets the Straw Hat crew anywhere, even in places no one's supposed to have been to. The rest of what you said regarding Zoro and Ussop was obvious, but the reasoning you provided behind them solidifies it for me. I'd honestly be depressed if those other Arcs don't pan out this way.
My theory for zoro's arc in wano is that he will have to embrace his role as the vice-captain of the crew. While we and the other players of the One Piece world consider him as such, there has never been any indication that it's the case inside the crew, and especially Zoro himself. However, I think the inevitable defeat of the straw hats at the fire festival will come with Luffy in possibly the worst physical condition he's ever been in, which would trigger the signal on his vivre card for the Grand Fleet to come. If this happens, I can see Zoro having to kinda take Luffy's place in this time, showing his leader side, rassembling the now again disbanded samourai as he said he would do and giving the perfect context for a potential King's haki reveal. There will also definitively be Shimotsuki and Komurasaki related stuff but it's not at all in Zoro's caracterisation to be focused on an ancestor type story, except maybe if it's linked to Kuina.

I think Sanji is a mirrored version of Luffy. Both of them have father figures that were/are pirates that they inspire to become. Luffy wants to be as great or even greater of a pirate than Shanks, and Sanji wants to as great of a chef as Zeff. Their father figures also sacrificed a limb to save their lives, with Shank's arm getting eaten, and Zeff eating his own leg to survive while giving all of the food to Sanji. And both parent figures want them to leave and become a great man on their merit and pursue their dream. The fact that Sanji is a cook might just be an excuse for Oda to add him with a legitimate role in the crew. And now that I think about it, Luffy having a mirror match in Whole Cake Island just makes these qualities more evident.
I haven't seen the Wano arc yet, but I kind of figured the original 5 would get their own arcs since there are some gaps in their origins that are left to be answered: * Sanji- Full Cake Island explained where he came from before meeting Chef Zef * Zorro- Learn more about the legendary swords & more specifically his Wado Sword * Nami- Learning about where she came from before Bell-mère & Nochiko found her * Usopp- Meet his dad for the first time in years

Another hint for zoro's connection to wano is when he taught momonosuke to say sunachu! (snatch). He said the older swordsmen used to say it in his village, like how the people who died in wano did. Coincidence? I think not.
@@stark8363 The teacher's name was Koushirou. Koushirou's father was Shimotsuki Kozaburo. Kozaburo was the man who created Enma (One of Oden's swords). I'm still of the opinion that Nami's actually a Tenryuubito that survived a buster call. Belle mere saved her from an island that was completely wiped out with marines fighting on it, and Nami's genetic family history has never been explained.
Usopp is and will definitely get more development. Robin, Jinbe, Franky and brook don't need any more development. Chopper should get more development, I agree.
Yes, Nami is the key to the last arc and probably her parents will be unveils and it might be related to Uranus. Yussop's father is the strongest snipper which is part of Shanks crew so probably it's his arc.
oda said that his manga will end sometime in 2024-2025.. and if I remember correctly the arcs that are left after wano would be only 3 arcs to go 2 major arc and 1 minor arc

I think there would be like two arcs after raftel though after luffy is pirate king because everything going on with the world government and all the side characters I can see an all out final war between the world government and I think he’s name was “imp” idrk against the revolutionaries and the straw hat alliance. Zoro arc is most likely happening in Wano just because of its theme in general. Sanji and Whole Cake Island is "family". For Wano, it's "Loyalty/Legacy", and that really encapsulates Zoro especially what we saw in Thriller Bark.

And you forgot about the most important thing making this a Zoro arc: That Enma is the only sword to have hurt Kaido in the past. So, Zoro is gonna deliver him a critical blow, if not be the one to beat him.
I mean, if you think about it what you said makes a lot of sense as well from the character lineage point of view. Aside from Sanji, we know next to nothing about the lineage and history of the 3 other characters. As we know, lineage has always been a recurring theme in OP - from Inherited Will, to concepts like devil fruits and lineage factor, Will of the D etc. Whole Cake Island Arc - we found out Sanji's last name and that he belongs to the Vinsmoke family, and all the things they stand for and are known for. Wano Arc - we would probably get to understand more about the Roronoa family tree and legacy and how it ties in with Wano's history and what it means to Zoro and his dream of becoming the greatest swordsman Elbaf - probably another reveal on Usopp/Yasopp's family name and legacy - why and how they are a family of sharpshooters etc etc. Raftel - again, we will finally get an insight into Nami's true lineage, hopefully a reveal of what her family name is, who her parents/family/ancestors really were - likely to hail from a family of outstanding navigators or perhaps even weather control experts - how they ended up in a war that supposedly got her orphaned and adopted by Bellmere
Something I've been thinking about is that Sanji helped defeat Big Mom with his cooking, so what if the rest of the arcs involve the other characters being a major part of the yonko defeat: -Zoro bodies a devastating attack, leaving Kaido open -Usopp, if the Davy Back Fight theory pans out, lying in order to win the final event against Shanks -Nami out navigating Blackbeard, leading the Strawhats to Laugh Tale first I've been thinking about this video all day and this just came to me, thought I'd share.

Robin has been feeling a little flavorless and empty for the past few arcs...Considering her solid backstory/role in the adventure I doubt she'll be receiving her own Arc before the series ends but I hope she serves as more than just a Poneglyphs decoder. I miss the vivacious and fierce Robin of Skypiea/Thriller Bark.
I have a video coming up on the major moments that each SH is likely to get by the end, but I highly doubt Robin is going to get her own arc. There is a big gap between how important the EB 5 are and how important the rest are. I think it is enough for Robin, Chopper, Franky, etc to get large late game segments of the story devoted to them, but a full arc doesnt make much sense to me

Sanji couldn't get a blood transfusion from fishmen at Fish-man island. Luffy was sent to Amazon Lily (full of women). Sanji was sent to Momoiro island (full of okama). Luffy was liked by Boa who didn't have third eye on the back. Sanji was liked by Pudding who actually had third eye on the fore head. Wanna more, mate? ; )

I don't think Oda forgot about Sanji's dreamer side outside of Baratie as we see his dreams constantly being crushed initially only to be fullfilled later. We see in Water 7/Ennies lobby that Sanji's dream was to see a beautiful mermaid but ended up with Kokoro shattering his expectations on what mermaids look like and see that dream fulfilled in fishman island and then in Thriller bark we see that Sanji had another dream about becoming invisible where he can't because the devil fruit has already been eaten by Absalom and then we see that dream fulfilled in Wano with his Germa 66 raid suit.

I think it could also be Lodestar because: - Roger and crew were the first pirates to get there in 800 years. So it is still a great challenge to get there. - A Lode Star is a star used to guide a course for a ship, just like a navigator like Nami. - I think the story could afford some downtime and chill after big arcs like Wano and Elbaf, and before the final arc. - Maybe there could there be something about Nami's origin there? I doubt it's in Laugh Tale.
@@philipschmitd6854 Sure, but there's bound to be serious stuff like Luffy meeting with Shanks, Usopp meeting with Yasopp and Zoro potentially meeting Mihawk and duelling him. Plus Shanks warning Luffy about Blackbeard. I expect Lodestar to be a last hurrah and happy times like in between sailing scenes before the last stretch of the story.
But they don't even need to go to Lodestar, the point of that island is to set people on the track of the Poneglyphs and the Void Century. The Strawhats are well past that point already, ever since Robin joined them, they jumped quite a lot of steps on that journey. Lodestar is irrelevant to them now.
Well, not gonna lie you were pretty spot on with this one in hindsight. This definitely feels more and more like Zoro's arc. Obviously the rooftop scene, but now we're getting even more context to Zoro's backstory and lineage.

Beautiful as always... I believe we need a seperation arcs again. Like a group go to Elbaf, another group head down to save Sabo, another to save Boa and etc... maybe with this solution they all got their own arcish side stories and grown up before the Marijoeas attack...
Wow this is my first time I come across your channel and me and my friends had this theory already we expanded it though to all the strawhats As you say Zoro is completing Luffy's fighting merits, Chopper has a support role in this (Chopper being the Sh closer to Zoro and the doctor) and I think Chopper will shine in Wano as well Usopp is the one completing Luffy's character the one that is closer to Usopp is Franky they came really close in W7 Franky took Usopp's role as shipwright and help each other create weapons Franky will definately shine in Elbaf as well In our world food and music go together that is why Sanji and Brook are very similar characters (serious when they have to, both inteligent and funny a lot, ladies lovers...) and Brook was like the MVP of WCI arc finally the one that has come closer to Nami is Robin and if Nami will have a critical role in Raftel she will have a lot of work to do with Robin (decifering the poneglyffs, creating the map, establishing the route) and when they get there Robin will take over dropping the bombs, the fact that Jimbe joined the crew tells me that he and Nami will come closer as helmsman and navigator as Robin will get closer to Luffy making him the pirate king.
I like this a lot. Chopper playing a big role in Wano makes perfect sense, especially if the Onigashima raid goes bad and the crew get major injuries. I also think that Franky being important in Elbaf would work, since I guess that Vegapunk will also appear in Elbaf since we saw the World's Governments failed program to create giants.
The other members of the straw hats excluding the core 5 had larger more complex introduction arcs for example: water 7(Franky), thriller bark(brook), drum kingdom(chopper). Robin was kinda lumped into water seven so she might get an arc.
I hope its not one of the original 5. Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Zoro and Luffy get enough as it is. I want to see Chopper, Robin, Brook, Franky and Jimbei. Sanji had WCI Luffy had his Sabo & Ace flashback Nami had FI somewhat Zoro in Wano Usopp could get Elbaf
I don't think fishman island counts for nami and their simply isn't that many arcs left for the rest of the characters. I'm sure they will still have big moments but we really can't dedicate massive arcs to them. At most a few chapters for when they complete theirs dreams such as when brook see laboon again
Usopp could be Elbaf? He’s talked about how much he wants to go there and had many connections with giants, that’s where he’s destined for a major step in his dream.
A few other foreshadowed arcs. Robin and Revolutionaries - What should knowledge be used for? Franky / Chopper and Vegapunk - What should inventions like Pluton be used for?
One thing that you didn't mention is that Nami wants to chart the entire world. Assuming she's been charting where she's been, the circumnavigation of reaching Laugh Tale is the EXACT moment her dream is concluded. She and Franky are the only straw hats who's dreams are auto completed by reaching Laugh Tale.

there was actually a lot of foreshadowing of sanjis backstory. Back when they where crossing the redline zoro says: "never heard of a ship going up a moutain before" as sanji replies: "ive heard a bit"
The All Blue theory could be a really great way to tie up the link you mentioned regarding Luffy's and Sanji's natures as dreamers. The Nami/Raftel points you brought up were really interesting. Conquering the grand line would always play into her role as the navigator but I can't say I put much more thought into it than that. Excited to see what's in store for her character. It is makes so much sense now. The arc may also be linked to the pattern of how each crew join straw hat: 1. Zoro, Chopper, Jimbei ( This List is Monster Group, Three Swordsman Monster, Reindeer Monster, Fishman that considered Monster by Human Races) 2. Nami, Robin, (Possibly Yamato) (This list is Ones that get their fredoom after Meeting Luffy & Have the knowledge that Luffy Need to help him find Laught Tale, Nami ( and her Navigator Knowledge) + Kokoyashi Village + Arlong Pirates, Robin ( and her Poneglif) + Ohara + World Goverment, Yamato ( and her Oden Log Book Journey) + Wano + Kaido {Chains}) 3. Ussop, Franky, (Unk, Possibly Bellamy, given his story on the cover story or ?) (This list is Craftmans Group, Weapon, Ship, Flag? Interesting...) 4. Sanji, Brook, (Possibly Momonosuke or Caribou ?)( This List is Pervert Group, Why? It is obvious 👌). There is a pattern that we can see here, I think this is not a simple coincidence. So, of this is the case SHP final crew will be 12 People + 1 Captain👌👌👌
Another strong hint for Nami getting Laughtale is her dream of charting every island/sea. Laughtale is the most mysterious island in the series and Nami's charts will bring it to the rest of the world
Even if I've been a long time viewer, there is smth I noticed in your recent videos and I absolutely like that : for every big video, you always explain for the new viewers (who don't have the time or will to binge your entire channel) certains ideas that you already talked about but in a tl;dr manner. That's very cool because anyone can enjoy any video while being aware that some points you touch on quickly are greatly expanded somewhere else on your channel.
I was also thinking raftel would be nami's ark cuz it was set up as the final destination and nami was the first strawhat we were introduced to so it seemed very full circle and fitting for it to be that way
I feel like a more appropriate Nami Arc would be Lodestar. Roger said that they managed to achieve something never been done,getting to Lodestar,so I imagined that it was incredibly difficult to get there and that’s when her navigation skills would be best shown. As for Raftel it’s too important to reflect a strawhat over the others(apart from Luffy of course).
We have yet to have arcs that can be summed up as "Zoro is sad" and "Franky is sad" to complete the cycle of "Luffy is sad" (Marineford/Postmarineford), "Sanji is sad" (Whole Cake Island), "Nami is sad" (Arlong Park), "Usopp is sad" (Water 7), "Chopper is sad" (Drum Island), "Robin is sad" (Enies Lobby), "Brook is sad" (Thriller Bark"), and "Jinbe is sad" (Fishman Island)

-Chopper and saving Luffy's life.

-Jinbe and whatever happens with Fishman Island, wether it is destroyed or relocated.
But yeah, your analysis makes a whole lot of sense.
Meeting vegapunk and have direct ties with the ancient weapons, it's pretty much 100% guaranteed that Franky will play a big role, his "second arc" so to speak. As for Robin and the void century, that is also obvious, but I think she will just perform her "fixed job" of reading poneglyphs (and remains a sex toy because, why not, that's what the target audience wants). Nami will be just like Robin, she will perform her "job" as the navigator in the crazy unseen territory at the edge of the world, major role to actually reach the one piece... but that's it, I don't think she will have more character development (and again, she will remain a sex toy). And before you wonder why I didn't mentioned Franky's job... well, there's a moral ambiguity surrounding these weapons, maybe the Sunny is the ancient weapon itself, maybe not.. how and why franky decides how to use his knowledge, that's a defining character moment. He torched the schematics, but he and Iceburg (who will also be brought back to the center stage) they both surely memorized the whole thing. 20+ years in contact with the schemes, they know how to make the damn weapon. So, Franky bluffed in enies lobby (that one major character moment), now we will revisit this story arc. Other than Franky, maybe Usopp will solidify his image of "brave warrior of the sea" in Elbaf through sheer luck, but that would be more of a continuation of his arc than another defining character moment (because, at the moment, Usopp already acquired some courage and he became a decent warrior of the sea through his own skill)

Fantastic video! Also want to point the correlation with the Grand Line group of Straw Hats in each of those arcs.
Brook in many ways was Sanji's correlating Straw Hat, and Whole Cake Island had Brook being the MVP.
Chopper similarly correlates to Zoro, and as a Zoan user and antidote to the Beast pirates chemical weapons, Wano is also set up for Chopper to play a major role.
Then we have Robin who correlates to Nami, who will be an essential piece in the Raftel arc.
Finally, despite less foreshadowing, I feel Franky must therefore have his moment during Elbaf, home of the great giant ship builders.

I've been forced to keep this to myself out of fear of being ridiculed or told that I was reading too much into things. But I find it quite suspicious that Nami's birthday makes her a Cancer, a sign ruled by the moon. The moon controls the tides. And in the story of One Piece, Luffy's journey toward freedom is literally and figuratively guided by the waves, which is what Nami's name translates to in English.
Luffy's birthday makes him a Taurus, ruled by Venus -- which is also known as "Morning Star” or “the Evening Star”. The planet shines so bright that it is the first “star” to appear after the Sun sets, or the last to disappear before the Sun rises. Finally, the planet Venus is also known as Lucifer -- light-bringer or bringer of the dawn, a title which fits Luffy's role in the story.
The world of One Piece is shrouded in metaphorical darkness. And Luffy has been bringing the light to the people that he's met, and towns and countries that he's freed. Luffy ringing the golden bell perfectly encapsulates his role as light bringer.
To be fair, Nami asked Eneru to take her to the moon out of fear and survival tactics.

I don’t really agree with that, Sanji and Nami’s dreams both somewhat get fulfilled at raftel (the all blue undoubtedly being near raftel and raftel being the last island for Nami to map) but i think it’ll be more luffy’s arc. I know luffy doesn’t really have arcs cuz he’s the main character but it’s because he’s the main character that I think he’s gonna main in raftel. Luffy getting to raftel = finding the one piece = becoming king of the pirates and we’ve been waiting for that since One Piece began. Luffy becoming king of the pirates is more important than Sanji finding the all blue and Nami drawing a world map combined.
Robin also has her dream fulfilled by going to raftel because she’ll finally find out about the void century but I think after she does the straw hats are gonna try and get justice against the world government for hiding what happened during the void century and doing what they did so maybe raftel will be an everyone arc:
I think you captured the Zoro arc conversation perfectly. I was hoping it would be, since it's the land of Samurai, but it just hasn't quite felt like it so far. The fact that it's such a big arc with so many little subplots has made it a little difficult to keep track of - I didn't even remember that he has the vendetta with Yasu. I hope his focus increases at the climax, enough that it feels that way without having to reread. You do have some pretty convincing points though, like the Oden parallels.
Elbaf being Usopp's arc is obvious, of course, but Raftel being Nami's arc is the REALLY interesting part. Never thought of it, but it makes so much sense, and I do really want to see her development there. Nami's original dream of mapping the entire world doesn't seem like something within the focus of the main story, but I bet she'll map out Raftel's true location and reveal it to the world.
(Also, not really directly relevant, but there's a little thing I love about Nami's development during Skypeia. East Blue establishes the theme of being willing to put your life on the line. But Nami usually thinks that's ridiculous. But when fighting Miss Doublefinger she starts to value her ability to fight on her own more. And it's during Skypeia, when she's alone with Enel, that she makes the decision to go against him and put her life on the line rather than be a coward.)

1. KIND (Sanji's Core)
2. Dreamer (agree with you on this)
3. Strategic/Rational (being luffy is reckless, sanji's strategic strength compliments him well.)
Sanji's definitely there to knock some sense into luffy when needed. In water 7 zoro told luffy he needed to man up and accept his own actions, but sanji kicked luffy and stopped him before doing anything he regrets.

Also the "food" thingy is just the channel that Oda chose to use for expressing Sanji's kindness as a character trait (the whole "i will never let anyone starve be it a friend or a foe") just like, for example, he uses Usopp's design (the long nose specifically) and many goofy things he does with luffy and hell, even his dream of becoming a brave warrior even though he's an easily frightened character, as a channel to express his child like behaviour

I think this arc is for Zoro, because we know he has a connection to wano, but also the creator of the swords he carries. I think elbalf will be for uusop and for I think franky will get one because of his connection to vegapunk. But I think we will get more clearer stuff on the rest of the crew.
Also, I think the one piece isn’t what everyone thinks it is but it will be something that will help luffy specifically or is another piece to working the weapon or controlling it

Someone counted the panels and Zoro appears in the 2nd most panels in wano, only behind Luffy. While it doesnt seem like much compared to Sanji and WCI , Zoro got so much action already and the biggest thing was that he got Odens sword and Oden is the most important and ominpresent character in this arc.
Comparing Wano to WCI, Sanjis wedding was the main and only plot going on. The tea party literally was the wedding so it doesnt work comparing these two arcs. wano will be way bigger

My problem with this hypothesis is that it generally ignores most of the object that the crew has laughtale and the one piece
The reason we all mostly thought robin would get a piece is that even in previous arcs there has always been a moment where robins explain the writing on ponegliph, Nami however get almost no shining moment so forcing would be weird
Plus with robin being the only reader of ponegliphs we know so far Blackbeard would likely want her in his crew and if not him Akainu, or even I’m-sama so it makes no sense
Thirdly even if we were to say that Nami must navigate them there even that task can be handle by Robin as she a and point out the way using the gliphs and with Jimbei as helmsman he will so Nami job not essential near the end
Even in Whole Cake Island, Brook had his moments and MVP level moments, even with fights like Luffy vs Katakuri, or the whole story line of Sanji going on. There's definitely room for more than 1 Straw hat(besides Luffy cuz he's always in the spotlight) to shine. I don't know if I completely agree that Raftel is Nami's arc but even if it is, Robin will still have room. Plus Robin is interested in the history of the world, but she has no connection to that. Unlike Sanji during whole cake island, Robin's past is already known. The only part not known is how Ohara ties into the Void Century and if they are really just researchers or their ancestors knew something.
This means that Robin will probably be at most the 3rd main focus after Luffy and another Straw Hat because of lack of new things that you can reveal about someone who we already know about. Just like how we knew about only a part of Sanji's past (How Zeff starved himself to help Sanji), we know only a bit of zoro's past(his Dojo training with Kuina). I'm using them as examples because I'm trying to say that there needs to be spots to fill in for each character to have an arc. It's possible to have an arc of Zoro because there is more to Zoro than we know, even if it is just about his lineage.
My whole point is that Robin probably won't be the focal point of Raftel even with all the history that will be revealed in that arc. She will probably be the 3rd SH behind Luffy and another one. The 2nd one besides Luffy might not even be a SH as it could be showing Blackbeard's history for example or even Roger and Rocks.

Something I would like to see Oda do is kind of sprinkle some character development for the straw hats as the arcs progress instead of having a whole arc focus on a certain character’s backstory and development. I will say I enjoy Whole Cake Island’s approach with it, but for instance I think what Water 7 did with the crew dynamics and characterization was brilliant, without even investing too much time with it.

Yo just saying in the Arlong arc in the Nami flashback it said that Bellamire rescued Nami and her sister from a war where both her parents died, I feel like nobody talks about this enough. "Take Luffy where he wanted to go"... this is so meaningful in so many ways. Nami is being set up to be THE Navigator. The one who gets the Straw Hat crew anywhere, even in places no one's supposed to have been to.

My theory for zoro's arc in wano is that he will have to embrace his role as the vice-captain of the crew. While we and the other players of the One Piece world consider him as such, there has never been any indication that it's the case inside the crew, and especially Zoro himself. However, I think the inevitable defeat of the straw hats at the fire festival will come with Luffy in possibly the worst physical condition he's ever been in, which would trigger the signal on his vivre card for the Grand Fleet to come. If this happens, I can see Zoro having to kinda take Luffy's place in this time, showing his leader side, rassembling the now again disbanded samourai as he said he would do and giving the perfect context for a potential King's haki reveal. There will also definitively be Shimotsuki and Komurasaki related stuff but it's not at all in Zoro's caracterisation to be focused on an ancestor type story, except maybe if it's linked to Kuina.
I would LOVE that, let's hope it turns out that way

I think Sanji is a mirrored version of Luffy. Both of them have father figures that were/are pirates that they inspire to become. Luffy wants to be as great or even greater of a pirate than Shanks, and Sanji wants to as great of a chef as Zeff. Their father figures also sacrificed a limb to save their lives, with Shank's arm getting eaten, and Zeff eating his own leg to survive while giving all of the food to Sanji. And both parent figures want them to leave and become a great man on their merit and pursue their dream. The fact that Sanji is a cook might just be an excuse for Oda to add him with a legitimate role in the crew. And now that I think about it, Luffy having a mirror match in Whole Cake Island just makes these qualities more evident.
I haven't seen the Wano arc yet, but I kind of figured the original 5 would get their own arcs since there are some gaps in their origins that are left to be answered:
* Sanji- Full Cake Island explained where he came from before meeting Chef Zef
* Zorro- Learn more about the legendary swords & more specifically his Wado Sword
* Nami- Learning about where she came from before Bell-mère & Nochiko found her
* Usopp- Meet his dad for the first time in years

Aside from Sanji, we know next to nothing about the lineage and history of the 3 other characters.
As we know, lineage has always been a recurring theme in OP - from Inherited Will, to concepts like devil fruits and lineage factor, Will of the D etc.
Whole Cake Island Arc - we found out Sanji's last name and that he belongs to the Vinsmoke family, and all the things they stand for and are known for.
Wano Arc - we would probably get to understand more about the Roronoa family tree and legacy and how it ties in with Wano's history and what it means to Zoro and his dream of becoming the greatest swordsman
Elbaf - probably another reveal on Usopp/Yasopp's family name and legacy - why and how they are a family of sharpshooters etc etc.
Raftel - again, we will finally get an insight into Nami's true lineage, hopefully a reveal of what her family name is, who her parents/family/ancestors really were - likely to hail from a family of outstanding navigators or perhaps even weather control experts - how they ended up in a war that supposedly got her orphaned and adopted by Bellmere

-Usopp, if the Davy Back Fight theory pans out, lying in order to win the final event against Shanks
-Nami out navigating Blackbeard, leading the Strawhats to Laugh Tale first

Robin has been feeling a little flavorless and empty for the past few arcs...Considering her solid backstory/role in the adventure I doubt she'll be receiving her own Arc before the series ends but I hope she serves as more than just a Poneglyphs decoder. I miss the vivacious and fierce Robin of Skypiea/Thriller Bark.
I have a video coming up on the major moments that each SH is likely to get by the end, but I highly doubt Robin is going to get her own arc. There is a big gap between how important the EB 5 are and how important the rest are. I think it is enough for Robin, Chopper, Franky, etc to get large late game segments of the story devoted to them, but a full arc doesnt make much sense to me

I don't think Oda forgot about Sanji's dreamer side outside of Baratie as we see his dreams constantly being crushed initially only to be fullfilled later. We see in Water 7/Ennies lobby that Sanji's dream was to see a beautiful mermaid but ended up with Kokoro shattering his expectations on what mermaids look like and see that dream fulfilled in fishman island and then in Thriller bark we see that Sanji had another dream about becoming invisible where he can't because the devil fruit has already been eaten by Absalom and then we see that dream fulfilled in Wano with his Germa 66 raid suit.

I think it could also be Lodestar because:
- Roger and crew were the first pirates to get there in 800 years. So it is still a great challenge to get there.
- A Lode Star is a star used to guide a course for a ship, just like a navigator like Nami.
- I think the story could afford some downtime and chill after big arcs like Wano and Elbaf, and before the final arc.
- Maybe there could there be something about Nami's origin there? I doubt it's in Laugh Tale.
Wouldnt Elbaf be a chilled arc because Shanks is not a threat to the strawhats and all their connections to giants are positive
@@philipschmitd6854 Sure, but there's bound to be serious stuff like Luffy meeting with Shanks, Usopp meeting with Yasopp and Zoro potentially meeting Mihawk and duelling him. Plus Shanks warning Luffy about Blackbeard. I expect Lodestar to be a last hurrah and happy times like in between sailing scenes before the last stretch of the story.
But they don't even need to go to Lodestar, the point of that island is to set people on the track of the Poneglyphs and the Void Century.
The Strawhats are well past that point already, ever since Robin joined them, they jumped quite a lot of steps on that journey. Lodestar is irrelevant to them now.
Well, not gonna lie you were pretty spot on with this one in hindsight. This definitely feels more and more like Zoro's arc. Obviously the rooftop scene, but now we're getting even more context to Zoro's backstory and lineage.

As you say Zoro is completing Luffy's fighting merits, Chopper has a support role in this (Chopper being the Sh closer to Zoro and the doctor) and I think Chopper will shine in Wano as well
Usopp is the one completing Luffy's character the one that is closer to Usopp is Franky they came really close in W7 Franky took Usopp's role as shipwright and help each other create weapons Franky will definately shine in Elbaf as well
In our world food and music go together that is why Sanji and Brook are very similar characters (serious when they have to, both inteligent and funny a lot, ladies lovers...) and Brook was like the MVP of WCI arc
finally the one that has come closer to Nami is Robin and if Nami will have a critical role in Raftel she will have a lot of work to do with Robin (decifering the poneglyffs, creating the map, establishing the route) and when they get there Robin will take over dropping the bombs, the fact that Jimbe joined the crew tells me that he and Nami will come closer as helmsman and navigator as Robin will get closer to Luffy making him the pirate king.
I like this a lot. Chopper playing a big role in Wano makes perfect sense, especially if the Onigashima raid goes bad and the crew get major injuries. I also think that Franky being important in Elbaf would work, since I guess that Vegapunk will also appear in Elbaf since we saw the World's Governments failed program to create giants.

The other members of the straw hats excluding the core 5 had larger more complex introduction arcs for example: water 7(Franky), thriller bark(brook), drum kingdom(chopper). Robin was kinda lumped into water seven so she might get an arc.
Nami’s arc was kind of an addition to sanji’s introduction so it doesn’t really count
I hope its not one of the original 5. Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Zoro and Luffy get enough as it is. I want to see Chopper, Robin, Brook, Franky and Jimbei.

Usopp could be Elbaf? He’s talked about how much he wants to go there and had many connections with giants, that’s where he’s destined for a major step in his dream.

One thing that you didn't mention is that Nami wants to chart the entire world. Assuming she's been charting where she's been, the circumnavigation of reaching Laugh Tale is the EXACT moment her dream is concluded. She and Franky are the only straw hats who's dreams are auto completed by reaching Laugh Tale.
She hasnt been on north, west and south blue tho
all four blues are probably charted so i think she will just have to get those maps and complete her dream idk

there was actually a lot of foreshadowing of sanjis backstory. Back when they where crossing the redline zoro says: "never heard of a ship going up a moutain before" as sanji replies: "ive heard a bit"
The All Blue theory could be a really great way to tie up the link you mentioned regarding Luffy's and Sanji's natures as dreamers.
The Nami/Raftel points you brought up were really interesting. Conquering the grand line would always play into her role as the navigator but I can't say I put much more thought into it than that. Excited to see what's in store for her character.
