Thanks Robert, this model had no storage on the drivers side of the van, the newer models have this. Some of the issues of my van have been changed in the new models also.
G'day Joel, sorry I have been away for a couple of weeks. That is such a hard question, if you have the funds a full Australian owned and built unit for sure, they seem to be the best option, not quite the layout I needed, but better design and build quality. If not, try to go with a unit that has at least had Aussie suspension in it and check the companies warranty and back up services. What I was told and what actually was available were two very different things.
Gday Dean, I have seen the Maverick trailer at our local dealer, it looks very similar to a few of these on the market now, my pick off these would be the Signature version, they have spent a lot of time developing the suspension and other important parts. I myself now have a home built adventure style trailer with roof top tent, it's in the same style as the Maverick/Patriot etc but not as fancy. It does the job very well though.
Not a problem mate, we loved the design and functionality of the van, that's what drew us to it. It was a real let down from that point onwards. Just helping people make educated decisions.
It makes no difference what you buy these days when it comes to camper trailers, caravans and hybred vans, MOST are made in China and assembled in Australia, they are CHEAP you get what you pay for and no matter what, you'll be fixing, maintaining and replacing what you buy because people push these products to the limits on our Aussie roads and 4wd tracks, not to mention overloading them. There is a massive market for these and people will pay the ridiculous prices to own one, regardless of there faults. This is a great video showing what you can expect and really this is mild compared to what we see coming in our work shop during tourist season. We call them the throw away campers, you'll be lucky to get 3 or 4 years out of them.
Hey bud great video and honest mate , just a few questions for ya , I noticed you also did a vid on the suspension upgrade , was that after this video ? And the tyres look different from first vid , did it travel better after this ?
Yes the suspension was done later, I had a battle for months trying to sort with Ezytrail, in the end I decided to fix the issues myself which included the suspension, tyres and a wheel alignment in Adelaide. That helped the van out heaps.
Gday Jade, I'm happy to help others with making a informed decision on what they buy. I'm not telling them not to buy, but at least go in with their eyes wide open. Let us know what you end up going with. We have traded down to an adventurer style trailer with RTT which is working well for us at present. A family van will be on the cards later this year.

Not while I had the van mate, I have sold it now, about a year ago and it was fine when it left, I haven't heard of this issue though. Do you or have you heard of this?
@@theoffroadtradies1002 Yes mate I have a 15 and I noticed roof sags in the middle, I thought it was just the weight of the AC unit, but others I've seen do not seem to sag, its only 2 months old :(
I have just left ezytrail with a brochure ,knowing its all made in China they are the same as the MDC and Fanasty caravans thanks for your review i now have no idea what to buy
Sorry mate, we did the same thing, looked at them all and decided on Ezytrail based on price/value and warranty and ended up with a lemon. They have changed some of the things in newer models that myself and others had issues with and there is a suspension kit from that Ezytrail have bought the rights to. This however doesn't help with the back up service I and many others received. All I can suggest is that if you do buy one is to spend 5-10K on it to make it ready to use.
I know this video is 3 years old. But did you end up keeping it? We are looking at a 2021 model but now I’m a bit worried considering a lot of the things you seemed to be running into
Gday Danny, no I don't own the van anymore mate, I sold it on, to my knowledge the new owner hasn't had many issues with it. I think the new version of this van had some of the issues sorted. I did drive past one the other day that had done a similar thing with the back latches on the rear door. I'm not against the van, just disappointed in the back up/warranty by the manufacturers.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 yeah makes me a bit nervous of what to get, its just for wife and I, we liked the idea of a bigger bed, alternative we like is one of the Avan models, however it doesnt have the outdoor kitchen etc all setup easily like this one.
Thanks Owen, I believe everyone should be able to see a review that is not bias, I have sold the van now which I'm happy and not happy about, it was ok after all the repairs I completed. I have bought a trailer with storage and off road capabilities that was second and and I'm tinkering with at the moment. From what I have seen both Trackmaster and Southern Cross seem to be quite good, I would lean towards the Trackmaster but that is just my opinion. Let me know what you go with mate. Once all the border issues are finished we might see you on the tracks and have a beer and chat about it.
maybe I'm IQ challenged but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open the roof hatch over the bed 🤦the flyscreen and blind do not come apart with a latch the way they do on the windows to access it, any chance of a short video ... cheers Jo
No mate, the best I got was bring it in and they would have a look, but anything fixed would be at my cost, and after their first go at fixing things I decided to do it myself, we have put new suspension under it, a new awning, new batteries, replaced all the latches, changed the back latch system , new TV and amplifier, a punt load of silicon and much more.
@@highwaypressure1279 I would of like to help more, I have had so many people contact me and tell me they had the same, similar or worse issues with their vans. I have seen the new versions and some of the things that went wrong with mine have been changed, but its really the back up/warranty that causes the most issue for me. The van is quite capable now that I have fixed most things, its a bit heavy and I always carry silicon to fix gaps that appear every trip.
Buy Australian, have a look at Lyfestyle camper trailers in QLD. They are the original designer of this type of crossover caravan. They are the company that all the dodgy Chinese manufacturers copied. The only thing the Chinese are good at doing, is polishing turds. (Bling and shiny on the outside and you know the rest)
Thanks for posting this video, we were looking very seriously at buying at one of these. NOT ANYMORE! You would think these companies would figure out in this day and age that not providing customer service and warranty back up will cost them a lot more in the long term. Especially with social media. MDC learnt this the hard way a few years ago when they used to carry on the same way. They had allot of work to undo the bad rep and reduced sales. Its ok for these vans to have issues, but ezytrail need to understand what has happened and why, fix the issues and update their new models with improvements. I am guessing they improve the new new models, but ignore the hard working people who have warranty issues. The cost to fix most of your issues would be a few 100 dollars for a workshop to complete. I can see there is at least 3 people above who wont be buying their vans...
Thanks for your comments, you are totally correct, they could have fixed my issues no dramas for not much, but they choose to make the issue out to be mine. I have since spent quite a bit on the van, fixing issues and modifying it and it is now quite a good van. It has no logos of Ezytrail or and marking that can identify it as Ezytrail as I don't want people thinking what I have now is what you get when buying one. They have also made changes to the new models which indeed have controlled some of the previous issues, which makes me more frustrated as they are basically saying we agree there was a problem and have fixed it, but bad luck to you and others that have bought earlier. Say tuned for an updated review of the van once I replace the batteries, that's about m last thing to sort out.
TheOffroadTradies I will be interested to see your updates and fixes. I think the layout is great and I haven’t completely given up on the idea of buying one a 2nd hand one. I love the layout of bunks, poptop, expanding space for of main bed, air conditioning, outdoor kitchen, with an awning. We cant afford the aussie made versions. I think if we picked up a 2nd hand one and were prepared to fix the issues you had it might be worth while at the right price. Other option is a dual fold camper trailer like a mdc robson xtt, but its more work to set up etc.
I didn’t count how many lost sales amongst the comments but I can add mine to it as well. I am probably more concerned with the poor warranty and back up service than the actual quality of the product. Even if yours was a “lemon build” it doesn’t justify the response from the wheel alignment issues. I would be pursuing this beyond an argument with the trader and involving the appropriate consumer advocate in SA. I had a short list of replacements for my Conqueror UEV 490 and this was on it. Not now. Another lost sale Ezytrail! How long are you going to stay in business? I will be checking how other builders back up their sales now. Thanks for the heads up!
It would have been much easier to just help me and the others out in the first place, I had a number of people contact me with stories of their own Parkes issues and mine weren't the worst, all had the same response, it is your fault it's the way you drive, you didn't maintain it properly. I'm on the look out for something else myself and I'm checking the back up service for sure before any purchase, now I just have to find a way out of this one. I have fixed all the issues and it's not to bad now, we have done a few small trips and nothing major for a while now. I just want to start fresh and have confidence in what ever it may be.
They still well in business only pick I have is the laminate came away from the tall cupbard and had to replace bur we did travel in 33-40 degree heat probably didn't ventilate enough and when we asked pmx our warranty had run out and didn't want to know
FINALLY! an honest real world review on these vans. Good work, now you need to do one on an MDC, there are (to my knowledge) no independant review on these or any other imported vans.
Thanks for your feedback, I have been trying to put together the next review of the same van after I have repaired/fixed and upgraded things on it, hopefully it will be up soon. I'd love to do a few more reviews of different vans and trailers in the future.
Great honest review, Things can and do fail even on the newest of items but what makes it devastating is no support / after sales service from the manufacturer. I was considering this van myself but now will keep looking Cheers
Thanks Jim, we knew there would be a few little things, but never expected the major issues and never expected to be blamed for them. All they needed to do was help with the issues not ignore me and I would have been happy. We are still looking to change the van to something else when we have the cash flow, but for now with the repairs and modifications I've done it's doing much better.
Jawa same shit i looked at them at caboolture it a tap hanging down behind the wheel asked a few questions and the big bloke walked off wont people have never been off road
Thanks mate, that was probably the thing that annoyed me the most, the fact they blamed me for things. All they needed to do was say yep sorry our fault, let us fix it for you and I would have been happy. I was among many with the same issues and more.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 yeah unbelievable obviously manufacturer's error ,dont need to be a rocket scientist to work that out and bloody nobody pays that much money on something like that and go out and stuff it or not look after it especially when you want to take your family away in it, hope things have worked out for ya, all the best👍
Darren Carey cheers mate, I actually sold it a week ago, happy to see it go knowing the knee owners should have a good van after the work I have put into it. Keep your eye out on future episodes for our replacement unit for tours and trips.
Thanks Bruce, mate I'm happy to direct anyone away from this company. Promise the world and deliver zero. I'm still fixing things on my van to this day, just replaced all the batteries that failed, and I've been siliconing up joins continuously, particularly the toilet shower area.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 yeah it's nearly like good customer service is a thing of the past these days unfortunately with alot of companies. If I was them I'd give you your money back and let you keep the van as a trade to take this video down. Lmfao Looking at the comments they really shot themselves in the foot This time. Looking at the comments at least half a dozen serious buyer have left the building. And walked away. Social media at its finest. Cheers Bruce.
We thought the price was good for what you were getting, and the layout is great. It really the back up service that cost them. Hopefully in the next week or so I will have up a new review with the repairs and modifications I've done.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 I've subscribed to check that video out, looking forward to seeing it and hearing what Ezytrail have done to rectify your issues. Cheers :)
We looked ages ago for a hybrid and was taken off my list farely quick. Looks like its from the same factory but different companies put their name on it. We ended up with a Modcon C3. Not an issue and well laid out.
Thanks for the great review. Being a tradesman and having spent a living fixing under engineered things I have one main question if you don't mind. You mentioned that you were not happy with the customer support. Has that been revised or are they a company to be kept well away from?
Rodney Trevor stay away mate, they promised the world in warranty it was one reason I went with them. But when push came to shove they told me it was user error and the way I drive. Which I hear is very common from them.
TheOffroadTradies Thanks for you advice and quick response. Just been doing a bit of searching and found your channel. Now subscribed and will be watching with interest. So nice to be in touch with like minded tradesman.
Rodney Trevor thank you and appreciated. We are working on some more episodes atm. Actually sold the van last weekend which is awesome. Moved into a smaller Offroad trailer more mobile for the tours and trips and later I’ll get a more standard van for family holidays. The website has our tour dates and locations if your interested in joining us on a trip.
Great review, sorry you had so many problems. Will definately look at some Aussie made vans . As some one else mentioned, have heard a lot of good things about JB caravans. How did you go with the refund claim? Cheers Joel.
Joel Lewis thanks mate dead end on all claims to Ezytrail. Just fixed and still fixing thing’s myself. It’s got to a point where it’s not too bad now. I’ve taken all their logos and badges off and put my own on. I’ll have a revised review up soon.
Great warts and all review. Have been looking at upgrading from our Aussie made CUB Brumby to a hybrid caravan of this sort of style and of course the Aussie made ones are roughly twice the price of brands like Ezytrail. This video just reinforces the view though that you get what you pay for. By contrast with your Cape York trip, on our 2 month Cape York trip last year, our CUB just worked and did everything it was supposed to do. I don't recall a problem and definitely don't want to replace it with something that is going to be an ongoing problem. Looks like it is definitely an Aussie made option for us.
Sorry Colin, I'm not sure how I missed this comment. Given our time again we would have saved harder and gone Aussie made. We have sold the van now and we have a rugged handmade off-roading trailer for tours and outback and just purchased a Jayco for our easy going family breaks. Hopefully we can catch up for a chat and a beverage one day.
Gday Peter, funny you should ask, I have done some repairs myself (still no help from Ezytrail) and I'm about to put a new suspension kit in it that will hopefully sort it out, 2 inch lift plus better and stronger suspension. I plan on taking it to Fraser Island after Christmas so stay tuned for and update in mid January, if you subscribe to the channel and hit notifications it will send you an email when I upload the new reviews and episodes.
Sorry to hear mate! I was looking at a trailer really similar to yours by Austrack Campers called the Tanami 15x. But I’ll be really interested in seeing how your van is going
@@petergregg7121 no worries, I was trying to sell it via a third party in hope of upgrading to something Aussie made, but no luck so I figured I might as well start using it again and see if my fixes will make a difference.
How’s the van going now after your upgrades? I’d like to see a revisit from you guys. We purchased a p18 about three months ago and have put 4000kms of hard off-road kms on it with minimal issues, but the last generation of vans before there mrk2 series had a lot of upgrades and fixes included. Wondering what awning you upgraded too?
We have installed a Dometic awning slightly longer then the original awning and it's heaps better now, more space and the fridge slide is cover for more of the day. In hindsight the Parkes 18 may have been better as the weight is spread across 2 axles not 1, there is not much difference in the weight of the 2 vans. I do believe they have made a fair few changes to the design and some of my issues have had fixes put in place. Just would have liked them to say yep sorry it is an issue and let us sort it out for you, not blame me for the issues. I am working on he review at present, just need to do the last walk around and edit.
These looked to be the answer and the next upgrade for our family. The look to be the ducks nuts but after this and what others have said in the comment section I will steer clear. Stuff that. Not worth the risk. Thanks for the review
Mark Radcliffe I have spent a bit on it now and it’s much better but you will need about an extra 6-8000 to make it right. I’ll be doing an update review very shortly, keep an eye out for it, if you subscribe and hit notifications it will tell you when I get it uploaded. 👍
Can anyone comment on these style hybrids with regards to dust penetration around the bend end on dusty roads? I like the principal of extra space with a smaller footprint but if the fold out arrangement at the rear is going to suck in dust on corrugated roads like the Birdsville track I'm not interested. It would be nice to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with the dust getting in through the rear hatch
Credit where it's due mate, when the latches were ok, I did not get much dust at all through the back. When they failed dust poured in. I have since ditched the original latches and installed my own brackets and added some extra foam around all the edges and it seems to be doing very well now.
Consider "Australian Off Road" out of Queensland. 100% Aussie designed and built and 100% dust proof guaranteed. Cost more but it's Australian made and very high quality. We bought a 2nd hand (2014) and love it.
Thank you mate. I had my heart set on MDC caravan, then after the amount of negative comments and reviews I'm done with them. Up until 10 mins ago I was in the market for 15ft Ceduna but now I think I will put 55k towards a second hand Aussie built van. It sux when you pay your hard earned money for a product and have to worry about faults and customer service to rectify the faults
Mate I couldn't have put it any better, we went with the Ezytrail because it wasn't the cheapest amongst other things and we loved the layout, infact we still do. I have spent a fair bit fixing it up and upgrading things to get it to as good standard now, I will be doing a new review shortly so keep your eye out for it. I just need to sort out the batteries and I will post it up. Definitely go with Aussie built if you can and double check warranty as I was promised the world and received a very cold shoulder.
Thanks for honest review. They look the goods on paper but was suspect with so many "new" ones for sale on caravancamper.com after single trips. Glad I did a bit more research. Safe travels
Thanks for the review ! I liked the layout also but not interested now. Can anyone give me the name of some Aussie manufacturers? As we will start looking there now also ...,
Gday Jo, take a look at the following Aussie options, the Mountain Trail range of hybrids, Jurgens Tufftrax, Rhinomax Scorpion and the Track Topaz. All seem to be of good qualit to me, more cost, but better peace of mind. Hope this is helpful for you. Cheer Luke
Buying made in china products is an art in itself , I've bought a boat and bicycles that are made in china and both are wonderful cherished items anytime I buy products from china made by European companies I make sure there products from 10 - 20 years ago are still working and in good condition if maintained if not i wont buy .
Was actually going to buy one of these after seeing them in the flesh. 100% not a chance now. What rubbish. Good luck with your pursuit of some compensation.
Great review. Watching your video gave me shivers and flashbacks of my trip around Australia in the Parkes. Every single thing you mentioned happened to us also. Even the welds at the back breaking. Twice. In 2 different locations. Ended up flatbedding the van back from Perth to Melbourne. Our welds broke and luckily we pulled up and saw the back wheels sticking out. The located bolts on the back door also didn’t line up and we had to duct tape the back door which was also to stop the dust coming in and getting into the van. It meant we had a sticky residue on the panelling also that gathered red dirt. Dust was a big issue for us and we had it everywhere in the van. We didn’t have the same issue with pumps as you because we changed them before we left to shureflos but had the same problem with the burner not working and where the gas had to be plugged in was under the van and caused us issues trying to plug the hose in. Our step broke also. Like you, I did all the research and feel it really put a dampener on my trip. My parents took over the van when we got to Perth to drive it back to Vic. But when the wheel arch broke again we just put it on a flatbed costing me $3k. I completely understand how you feel and your rating is bang on both before and after. We’ve since changed brand and gone for an Aussie made van at a higher cost which we didn’t want to do, but just can’t fault it. Good luck with the next trip, a very fair and honest review and i can relate 100%.
Thank you for your great reply, it makes me feel better to know we aren’t the only ones, I’m battling with them at the moment for refund. I appreciate your feedback.
@@danielmcrorie453 I went for a Jb Caravans Scorpion Sting, (as they are based in VIC where i am) but looked at a few AOR, Kedron (all qld based) etc, but admittedly all more expensive, JB fit into my budget just... I guess for the price the ezytail is an ok van and they did fix the welds breaking, although i think they should have recalled the model as its apparent it's happened to a few people that i know. but for the money, $45k, you need to spend another $10-15k upgrading things, shocks, springs, pumps, tap fittings etc. I wouldn't buy one again, cost me about $15k once we did our lap of oz we sold it straight after 3, months old.
I was reimbursed for the repair to back tyre rack in Cairns, it was a difficult process at the time. They have now said the issues are my fault as it’s the way I drove the van. I highly recommend to all not to deal with this company in any way shape or form. Disgraceful backup service.
Thanks Josie, not just me but other travelers on the road if they had off came fully off. That's one of the points I tried to point out to them but its falling on deaf ears, everything is my fault they tell me.
Hi Luke. Wondering if you had any views on the equivalent brand Austrack Tanami at all. They seem same by the look of it. Wondering if they are made in some factory.
I haven't at this stage mate, we did compare a lot at the time of purchase and most came from the same place, just rebadged when they get to Australia, I'll have a look today and get back to you.
Gday mate, just checked out the Tanami and from looking at it I would say its from the same place, a few different options but the basics and overall look seem very similar. We bought due to thinking the value for money was there, it's not cheap but its not expensive was our thoughts. If we eventually sell ours we will be buying Aussie built for sure, the extra dollars come back in the peace of mind from back up service if needed and better quality.
As luck would have it I have been slowly fixing the van up myself, I will be posting an update soon with the repairs and modifications that I have completed. Cheers

@@theoffroadtradies1002 cheers mate we are now looking at the Jayco crosstrak 16
THANK YOU so much!!!!....... this WAS a top contender on my list...... not anymore!!!! Cheers, Don (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)

Wow - i am so glad i spotted this. looked such a good unit at the shows. thanks so very much
peter gaiter happy to help out the public👍
Just one other question regarding price it had $38000 on the window , did you buy a used van or was it brand spanka
We bought it new at $47000
Hi, I loved the honesty of your review. What do you think of the Southern Cross or Trackmaster?
Thanks Owen, I believe everyone should be able to see a review that is not bias, I have sold the van now which I'm happy and not happy about, it was ok after all the repairs I completed. I have bought a trailer with storage and off road capabilities that was second and and I'm tinkering with at the moment. From what I have seen both Trackmaster and Southern Cross seem to be quite good, I would lean towards the Trackmaster but that is just my opinion. Let me know what you go with mate. Once all the border issues are finished we might see you on the tracks and have a beer and chat about it.
maybe I'm IQ challenged but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open the roof hatch over the bed 🤦the flyscreen and blind do not come apart with a latch the way they do on the windows to access it, any chance of a short video ... cheers Jo
Apologies Jo, I do not have the van any more, from memory it was quick difficult but they did come apart.
Thanks so much for this and everyone’s comments. Off the list for us
Martin Mielimaka happy to help everyone make educated choices.
I was also looking at these vans. Not anymore. Thanks for the review.
Kathryn Fohn happy time help out
Thanks for the review. Looks like it's on life support after 7 months. Ezytrail is off my list.
I've had quite a few people contact me with similar and different issues, customer service/warranty seems to be one of the main dramas.
Cheers mate, did they end up fixing everything? Good review might have to look a bit more, but I thought it looked good like you did I guess
@@theoffroadtradies1002 cheers mate awesome review, would have saved heaps of us from you have unfortunately been through
@@highwaypressure1279 I would of like to help more, I have had so many people contact me and tell me they had the same, similar or worse issues with their vans. I have seen the new versions and some of the things that went wrong with mine have been changed, but its really the back up/warranty that causes the most issue for me. The van is quite capable now that I have fixed most things, its a bit heavy and I always carry silicon to fix gaps that appear every trip.
Thanks for the honest review, it’s hard to come by these days. Definitely steering clear now
Happy to help other make educated choices, I only wish I had something to check before I bought it in the first place.
Thanks mate I was looking at one of these but I think I'll keep looking...
Same
Thanks for posting this video, we were looking very seriously at buying at one of these.
Thanks for your honest review
jimmyintel it’s in everyone’s best interest to have all the information
They still well in business only pick I have is the laminate came away from the tall cupbard and had to replace bur we did travel in 33-40 degree heat probably didn't ventilate enough and when we asked pmx our warranty had run out and didn't want to know
Great to see you are pointing out basic things that should be standard and bullet proof
I just want people to be able to make informed educated decisions before they part with their hard earned cash.
FINALLY! an honest real world review on these vans.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 by the looks dust is an issue as well. Can you confirm this?
@@mikefoster7085 we did have dust ingress at times, I have done a fair bit of siliconing and adding extra rubbers to help with this.
It seems like they are the bottom end of the worst when it comes to any form of customer service.
Cheers mate, i won't be buying one, and i like how they passed the buck and said you weren't looking after it ,😳😠
Thanks mate, that was probably the thing that annoyed me the most, the fact they blamed me for things.

We looked ages ago for a hybrid and was taken off my list farely quick. Looks like its from the same factory but different companies put their name on it.
We ended up with a Modcon C3. Not an issue and well laid out.
Modcon are definitely a good option, if we go down this path again I will be keen to try them out.
Thanks, for your very honest review. I was interested in it, but what a worry.
Hey mate thanks for uploading. Any chance of another review for an update on how it's holding up?
Gday Peter, funny you should ask, I have done some repairs myself (still no help from Ezytrail) and I'm about to put a new suspension kit in it that will hopefully sort it out, 2 inch lift plus better and stronger suspension. I plan on taking it to Fraser Island after Christmas so stay tuned for and update in mid January, if you subscribe to the channel and hit notifications it will send you an email when I upload the new reviews and episodes.
Sorry to hear mate! I was looking at a trailer really similar to yours by Austrack Campers called the Tanami 15x. But I’ll be really interested in seeing how your van is going

stuj89 anytime mate glad to help
Great video, thanks mate
Thanks mate, you just saved me buying one of these.
Gooner Tez no worries, go aussie made if you can and don’t rush your decision

Can anyone comment on these style hybrids with regards to dust penetration around the bend end on dusty roads? I like the principal of extra space with a smaller footprint but if the fold out arrangement at the rear is going to suck in dust on corrugated roads like the Birdsville track I'm not interested. It would be nice to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with the dust getting in through the rear hatch
sorry meant to say "bed end"
Credit where it's due mate, when the latches were ok, I did not get much dust at all through the back. When they failed dust poured in. I have since ditched the original latches and installed my own brackets and added some extra foam around all the edges and it seems to be doing very well now.
Consider "Australian Off Road" out of Queensland. 100% Aussie designed and built and 100% dust proof guaranteed. Cost more but it's Australian made and very high quality. We bought a 2nd hand (2014) and love it.
Get your money back bro don’t look like the seals work either dust every where take care bro 👍🏽🤷🏼♂️🔨🔨

Ponitti that’s a very good way of doing it. I did think I’d done enough research but I was wrong on this occasion.
Was actually going to buy one of these after seeing them in the flesh. 100% not a chance now. What rubbish. Good luck with your pursuit of some compensation.
I will be keeping my 15 year old Jayco Swan after watching this .....
Some very cool, unique features. Hopefully they can get the quality issues sorted out, because this one looks great otherwise.
We are also looking to change to an Australian made version of the same type of van.
what Aussie version did you go with Andy ??
You could have been seriously hurt shame on them for selling such garbage good luck to you stay safe

Gday mate,
just checked out the Tanami and from looking at it I would say its from the same place, a few different options but the basics and overall look seem very similar. We bought due to thinking the value for money was there, it's not cheap but its not expensive was our thoughts. If we eventually sell ours we will be buying Aussie built for sure, the extra dollars come back in the peace of mind from back up service if needed and better quality.
TheOffroadTradies thanks Luke. I agree. Love to buy Aus if I can. Appreciate your thoughts. Simon
