"Do you also mow his lawn on your days off, Sherriff?" "Your boyfriend can come to your rescue in one mighty hobble" 😂 JR was truly one of the greatest at hurling one-liners.

Was Sue Ellen living in Hazard County? Looks like the Hazard County sheriff’s office came with JR. (the Dukes came on the same night on the same channel right before Dallas)

Always thought at some point there would be footage of Kristen's death. Something like her trying to shoot jr again and in a struggle to defend himself she ends up in the pool

Dallas was amazing during these years but it definitely lost something when Jim Davis Died. I always laugh when JR asks the Sheriff if he mows Clayton’s lawn on his days off?! lol
Very few people in Texas wear cowboy hats like this; though a lot of the law enforcement still wears them, as in this video, and the UT Longhorn band does. But about the only time you see them in the general public is in country western dance halls. I really doubt that JR would be wearing a cowboy hat in downtown Dallas, Texas to go to the office.
@@justina249 I don't know for certain, but I think Larry Hagman wore a toupee and like many bald men, they often wear hats when they don't have their toupee on.
So basically JR was going to parlay Kristin's death to convince Sue Ellen to come back to Southfork with John Ross, hoping she will break down in a moment of emotional impulsivity. Sneaky. I almost believed he was genuine.
As much as I enjoy seeing JR get his (and the reason is because Larry Hagman played him so well - a vilian much of the time you love to hate), I can see his point to the officer: "Do you also mow his lawn on your days off?!😂" I mean JR is concerned about kidnapping (although it really wasn't since Sue Ellen had the kid), the sheriff just sided with Clayton in a funny way, "I don't see any crime being committed, ain't that right Clayton?!" And Clayton just replies in a funnier tone: "That's right Bo."
Oh Dallas was one of my favorite shows! The saga of JR and Sue Ellen was memorizing. They are both great actors
JR and Sue Ellen followed the soul vampire cycle to a tee.

So true.

She loved him, but she soon realized she couldn't live with him or without him. Without him, J.R. destroyed every man she loved or friend she had.
For the show. JR without Sue Ellen was nothing. Sue Ellen without JR was nothing. Dallas only lasted two more seasons without Linda Gray.

Me too. I highly doubt she broke the iron fence on the top deck....but maybe if she was standing on it and high on meth.
We see her dead when Cliff try to save her in the pool but we never knew what happened really.
J. R. Your fans still love to hate you . We like your character live on. Many thanks
I never understood why all these women were attracted to J.R. Other than his money there wasn't anything attractive about him. Sexual power?
Holly Harwood wasn't attracted to him at the beggining. As she said " For SEX i would choose Bobby" 😂😂😂😂
But it was a show. And i think Larry Hagman was maybe more attractive for young girls in his twenties. He was already in his 50's there
