Wow! Great shots with that monster of lens! The 70-200 G2 I have is equally nice and doesn't weigh as much...but not as much "reach". Let the search for new glass continue!
Yes that lens was way to much. I was just looking at the focal length of the lenses and not the weight and size. I was a little surprised when I opened the back in the store and saw this beast 😅 the search is indeed continuing 😁
It looks like you’re enjoying the big things now 👀 great video dude! That’s really a great focal length, if I already didn’t have my 100-400, the 150-600 is definitely my contender (though I was looking at the Sigma one). Loved the shots and a great test. The switches on the lens body seems useful.
Yes the switches are super useful, but I didn’t played enough with them. It’s a super cool lens, but to big and heavy to Cary in my backpack. It’s the first time I have something big in my hands 😁
@@JorisVanDeuneghem when I think of landscape photography its usually vast landscapes, big fields, big mountains and lakes, or maybe a big forest overview with (mostly) wide lenses but can also be telephoto as long as it pictures vastness. I dont think your photos fall into a specific category its just general photography, but it looks very nice. The flowers would fall into flora photography but not landscape. Great video tho and this comment is just my view and definitions of the terms.
@@JorisVanDeuneghem dont take it as hate in any way please, I really like the photo, aspecially the purple flowers in the golden light! I was rather questioning the catagorization as I felt it was missleading
I understand you completely, no hate 😁 I never looked at it in that way. You are actually right. I never stood still in what category specific photos fell. For me it was like, it’s a piece of the whole landscape so it’s also landscape 😂 this is the beauty of art and I’m very open minded. Thank you for letting me know

Or another way of saying it: a photo of a tree is not landscape, a photo of a forest is landscape.
