I'd actually like to take a moment to spill a bit about JEVIL that I don't think I've seen anyone else mention. Toby likes to play around with keywords in his storytelling. Words like SAVE and LOAD are articulated to be actual things in-universe. Statistics like LV and EXP are also in-universe *things.* Things that can be quantified. But there's a keyword that seems *very* important that I haven't seen anybody talking about. _World._ Think of all the times Toby's used the term "world". Flowey's speech, talking about how he is the Prince of this *World's* Future. Before you fight Asgore, Sans tells you that the fate of the *world* is in your hands. Upon completion of Genocide, Chara urges you to move on from this *world* and on to the next. Flowey's access to SAVE manipulation essentially gave him backwards time travel in the game, making the future of Undertale whatever he saw fit After beating Asgore the first time, the fate of the entire Underground's freedom was at stake, as well as the world beyond due to Omega Flowey. Once You complete Genocide, you're *done* with Undertale. There is nothing left for you in this game. Move on and play another. In Toby's little keyword language, whenever the *World* is mentioned... it means the *Game.* In Toby-ese, World is functionally the in-game way of SAYING "the videogame". Replace any of the aforementioned sentences with "game" and they still work just the same. I'm sure you see where I'm taking this. THE WORLD REVOLVING... in a game where RESETting isn't something *You* do but rather the Mysterious Man behind the Goner Maker sequence... it leads to some concerning conclusions.
