Is that a post-Hermle Urgos movement? I love the way the strike chord has a different tone from the chimes. I've been talking with a neighbor of mine who I'm good friends with, and he can build stuff with wood. I asked him if he could build a grandfather clock, he said "it's plausible." If I end up getting to that, I'm most definitely using an Urgos movement along with a genuine Urgos chime bar.
@@theray2009 Yeah that's what I said, "UW reproductions" I was referring to the post-Hermle Urgos models. I heard you say "it even has a new movement" in the video so I knew it was a replacement. The new movements actually look pretty cool, shame none of them have Winchester. I think there should be some with the York Minster chime, I think it'd flow pretty good in a clock with a melodic strike chord like this one.
Sad fact: All movement models made by urgos that had Winchester movements now are made with only Saint Micheal chimes so all Winchester urgos movements should be overhauled
@@samsclocks2084 it originally had a bigger urgos movement that plays Westminster, Whittington, and St Michael, not one of the Winchester ones, so it's the wrong movement lol
My best friend, Great... We liked and enjoyed to the end. Awesome... Full watched. Thanks Have a happy day!
I bought clock #928 in this series in 1986 for $2k and love everything about this beautiful clock.

It probably is
@@samsclocks2084 Great to know Hermle kept Urgos' Westminster pattern for the UW reproductions.
No it's a replacement movement

@@jsnxbskscnskcnskcjbzjzjbvd this is a reproduction
This was definitely a replacement movement and definitely a Hermle movement. Too bad the original urgos movement isn’t a part of this wonderful clock
Even though it’s a little bit out of tune it reminds me of my clock. Its a very stately clock.
I have a Liberty Ridgeway Grandfather Clock and my key was taken. How can I get another key short of having to tear up my clocks door?
I’d go on the Howard miller parts store and look for a replacement

I would be overhauling them anyway
Might be the wrong movement replacement
This was at a clock shop so I doubt they’d get that wrong
@@samsclocks2084 or maybe it was just being weird

It doesn’t have Winchester on it.
@@samsclocks2084 yeah its probably not the right movement replacement
Sell this clock to me, please.
