@@preachinoldschool5726 nah. He spent his whole life in locker rooms. He is used to the swearing and indecent talking subjects. Plus I have met him numerous times. His favorite diner was right down road from my apartment and he used to go there almost every Saturday morning. He is a great nice very Christian guy but he is the type of Christian that doesn't push his beliefs onto others or force them to be a certain way just cause he is around. So don't be so quick to say he couldn't stand to listen to the swearing. He is a grown man that can handle words.
I don't understand why people anymore get upset over hearing swearing on the internet. There are certain places and events that you should not be swearing in of course, but to say the internet needs to be this family friendly safe space that should never ever swear is just moronic. Plus these are athletes. Have you ever been inside a locker room? Not exactly a PC place. That's even going back to middle school and maybe even elementary. We were swearing and saying dirty stuff all the time and it only gets worse the older you get in there. So toughen up buttercup it will be okay to hear some 4 letter words. The shit won't fucking hurt you or anything, so damn don't be a little bitch and you won't go to hell if you say it I promise

Troy's attention to detail/observation skills are borderline inhuman. Like how he used to be able to time the snap perfectly to be running full speed at the line and pretty much sack the QB immediately.

Troy Polamalu quote from America's Game
"I think there comes a point in a game where you're not really cognitively thinking. Honestly, before that play I wasn't thinking 'Oh, it's 4th and 1.' You just kind of see the way everything develops.. the way the offensive lineman come up, the way they get set you kind of see their splits. You kind of see the quarterbacks energy. The more and more you play the game of football the more and more you have this sensitivity... the rhythm of the football game, and you can just do things like that."
He was referring to jumping the line to stop a QB sneak, but it seems relevant to this play.

He probably assumed that giving it to Vinatieri was unlikely and with the fact that McAfee looked nervous he was likely keeping the ball.
Also, realistically, as long as Polamalu was unblocked on the outside he would catch McAfee from behind even if he went the other way. There's a good chance Polamalu was simply making himself uncovered to chase the runner and simply guessed right as to where McAfee was going.

If you give in and even remotely appreciate or acknowledge the insane shit you just did....the feeling of it crumbles. The sounds rushing back almost startle you. Pat McAfee is a riot. The first time I saw him on TV he was on NFL AM as a guest host during the offseason. He started talking about his amazing ride into work and then switched to a CCTV camera of a parking lot outside the studio. An intern pushes McAfee into the frame with him riding in a freakn' wheelbarrow. I lost it. Besides being some kind of onside kicking genius, Pat McAfee also does stand up and he'd sell out shows in Indy every time he did one. I wish he could have played longer in the NFL but injuries happen. I hope he has a long carrier in comedy though.
