At first I was thinking “is it really worth it to do all that yourself?” but then you compared the prices between the sticks you usually buy and the homemade ones and I was shocked. Seeing how tough it is to make them, I get why they’re so expensive, but it’s definitely worth it like that
The electricity also probably costs something considering how long it takes to dry, so the difference would be a bit smaller. But still worth it.
Hope they can invest in sharper scissors or knife to make it easier on themselves.

I was thinking the same thing. Wow, big price difference. BUT the butlers control the quality of the snacks. No artificial junk or salt in them. Ultimately much more healthy for the 3 bros. It pays off in the long run. Maybe they’ll start their own line of really natural snacks for the fur babies. 😁

You truly love them so much, you did all that hard work to make snacks! I am shocked how much money you save by making bully sticks yourself! Milky is so smart to know the magic box is where his snacks are made! And Tan sadly prefers mats to chicken, but hopefully he will learn to love the chicken too!
Suddenly the term "bully sticks" reveals a whole new meaning. Truly wonderful butlers to willingly prepare such treats.
And me thinking about another piece of the bull - the balls! In Colorado USA we have something called "Rocky Mountain Oysters" which are actually deep fried bull's testicles. They're actually pretty good. Some guys won't try them at all - guess it hits a little too close to home so to speak!

If not kitchen shears, then a biological dissection kit would help with the prep. You'll have more control with the scalpel or dissection scissors since they're small but sharp enough to cut through things like fat, skin or meat.
Yes, I would pick up box of a dozen disposable scalpels cheap for about &2 at a swap meet or flea market. handy for lots of projects.
I find scalpels to be too dull more often than not, but dissection scissors are so perfect.
Yeah, I was think dissection scissors would be great for this, or an x-acto blade, but that depends on dexterity!

You can generally make all types of dog treats, some are mor difficult than others but if you make them yourself some would be cheaper and healthier.

I didn't like to comment until I saw your comment. I don't understand why the butlers need to "sanitise" the meats in vinegar, especially chicken breast. By the time they have done that, then dried the meats, there wouldn't be much flavour or nutriton left. No wonder Tan wasn't interested.
