Guys, there is a critical bug, I didnt found it listed in the fixes so I will tell you here: Some smart developers made the dca groups getting identified by its name and not by the dca number as it should be. This means that if you rename a dca group, all assigned channels will be lost. I didnt know that and wanted to correct a description during live performance. The result was a quit keyboard before suddenly being LOUD as **** because the reduction by the dca was removed. If you change the name back, then the old channels get assigned again. Please fix this or if that is intended behaviour, then please warn users! Thanks for this great console but this bug is a problem haha!
I just set up some of my custom controls. It would be nice if a tap tempo assignment button would blink with the tempo of the delay! UPDATE 2/18/20: Nevermind it's already a setting!🥳 You have to go to setup, then surface and lights, then general and it's called tap flash!
Hi there, great stuff 🎉! One question, I tested the wing a while ago and discovered that tapping a delay disrupts the delay signal, on the x32 this wasn't the case. Did you fix that as well?
Great product. Two Feature suggestions from the X32.. Have an option so the Mute Groups don't flash when enabled. And have an option that when playing back the SD card that the inputs automatically switch to the ALT setting and when play is stopped that they switch back. The x32 did this probably because it only had the 32 channel but still nice to not have to keep remembering to switch this
@@shaneomac151Yes Im aware of that one (in the setup tab I think if all the channels are set to auto) But If you use in a studio set up and record the band with the SD, it would be nice if you had an option when you hit play that it would automatically switch to route the signals back through the channels (ala the X32) And also effects to monitors could be easier than it currently is and have more of the options of where to take signals from to send to P16 (pre, post, post eq etc) like the X32 did. Thanks
@@shaneomac151 It's a little more complicated I'm sure as the X32 was 32 channels and recorded 32 so it was probably easier to turn around and route it back. But the option to automatically go to the alt upon play would be cool.

@Behringer do you guys have any video tutorials on how use this mixer with your DAW or use it as a audio interface? I am looking to purchase this mixer console because i love the effects plug-ins it has inside of it. Let me know please!!!!!
That working as an(class compliant) usb audio interface for an ipad, so that you could multitrack in from that to ipad and multitrack back from ipad and use AUv3 plugins in AUM or other plugin hosts this way. Or record to a daw on ipad. Ipad would basically be an external monitor with all the power of ios integrated to it.
Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these. Especially intrigued by the Stage Connect boxes. Any idea when a nice looking Midas version will be released?
Good overview, Goetz. Unfortunately, a lot of audio snobs will poo-poo the Wing and the Copilot. The stuff that you can do live and in a studio with this thing is amazing. Back in my day, we'd drag around tonnes of gear in racks with miles of cables between them. Now, we can do everything from a small desk and app without any noise or loss of signal quality. I remember using Mackie years ago. The creme de la creme of mixing consoles. But as soon as you introduced a bit of treble, you'd also hear a hiss, roaring like the ocean. A concern would be how fast you can get to the various controls in a live situation. I can barely text. Us older folks might give it a pass. However, this won't matter in a studio. The other concern is that Behringer is notorious for poor manuals and missing little details in the programming of their hardware, glitches and quality control in manufacturing that take months or years to iron out. I won't get into detail here. But suffice to say that there will undoubtedly be teething problems. Great concept never the less. If I were still in a band, I might even buy one.
I, personally would love to see a Wing Monitor Rack, (like the X32 rack), which physically has on it I/O's for stage monitors and talk-back mics for IEM's, and or a Wing Monitor Core, with no physical I/O's, that can be used as a remote monitor console for musicians. This way, they can control their own monitor mix with the Wing -Q app, giving them access to every available input channel on the console whether mono or stereo.
I'm currently a very happy x32-Rack user. I love that I can run a full 24-channel band set-up with just my iPad and for most (not all) of the gigs I have, would never go back to carrying a huge heavy full-sized console surface. I'm not sure whether UA-cam is a good place for a "whishlist", but since you ask for feedback in the comments, here are my most wanted features currently missing from the x32 engine that I would love to see in an upcoming "Wing-Rack" (maybe?) ;-) - The ability to stereo-link even+odd channels (e.g. channels 2+3, instead of only 1+2 and 3+4), maybe even go as far as being able to stereo-link ANY two inputs? (maybe that's already taken care of in the Wing engine?) - The ability to chose the tapping point (input, pre/post EQ, pre/post fader or sub group) for the bus sends _per channel_, and not per channel-pair. If I have e.g. a wedge on bus 5 and an effect send on bus 6, I cannot set my tapping points as needed with the x32 engine (maybe that's also taken care of in the Wing engine?). - The ability to see effect signals/meters on the iPad app. For example: sometimes I would like to see how much the limiter is being pushed, I can only see the meters on the effect on the x32-Rack display, but since I'm mixing fully remotely, it would be great having them visible on the iPad app. Ok, the following last one is wishful thinking. Being a software engineer myself I understand that you only send control signals over the IP connection, but as a sound guy: it would be really _really_ awesome if you could make it possible to have at least a single monitoring audio channel (e.g. for solo/cue) sent from the console to the iPad app and out of the headphone connection. I'd even accept some delay in there since it's only for quick remote monitoring. If you could make that possible some day, you'd be my absolute heroes 🤩 Keep up the good work! - Mike

With that dante expansion card: in an earlier overview, it was mentioned that the internal network ports could be configured with a dante "chip" (it was shown in the video). is that something that is installed automatically by the factory, or is that also an expansion that needs to be bought. Or does it need to be requested before purchase? Does that internal dante chip make the expansion card redundant? how does the wing handle the different dante connections? Is there a more in depth user manual than the quick start guide? does it come in the box and i just have to wait and see? I know the board has MIDI I/O, but I am very interested in integration into a dynamic theater environment and interoperability between different pieces is very important. without a detailed manual, i have no way of knowing what is or is not possible. At this point, I understand that so many new features are coming out in firmware updates, i choose to believe that once the majority of features get inplemented, a full manual will be release. I would LOVE to see the WING work well as a controller for CAKEWALK. The X32 & M32 work well as an audio interface, but not so great as a controller. Thanks.
Really need to be able to trigger the duck from an AUX. This was doable on the X32 but I can't for the life of me see a way to do it on the WING. As it stands the duck can only be triggered from itself or one channel It's a feature I use all the time in order to kill playback music from multiple sources on multi stage gigs. Also a great way to have my announcers "step" on the playback tracks at racing events. Hope this makes sense
The Wing looks and seems great but I reckon Behringer dropped the ball a little by not also making it attractive in a studio context. All of its varied features seem directed at the live market whereas with a few tweaks here and there this could have been a monster in the studio too. I'm kinda still interested but my interest isn't what it was when I first heard the rumors of it coming. Still... a 24 fader controller with basic monitor section could be worth the price of entry.
Hello Behringer Wing Team i try again, i post this two days ago Hello copilot development team, the ipad app specification are ios 10, but on my iPad 10.3.4 the app crashes after the startup of the Behringer logo. I like the logo but I want to see some more about the copilot app.😊 So wen will it run on iPad ios 10 or higher...
Hi Peter, Thanks for the feedback. There is a specific limitation in iOS 10 that we can´t fix. We will have to change the app compatibility to iOS 11 in the next version.
I see that you can then assign a source to a channel on Copilot. It would be great if the source name then appeared on the console channel strip. At the moment it has to be re entered.
We absolutely need the ability to do instant, live scene changes otherwise, this console is useless in a theatrical environment. Seriously, this should have been included at launch.
Dear behringer Make compect digital audio mixer fully touch display physical fader less in 32ch like qsc touchmix series really need this type of digital mixer please hear behringer
You can't format cards bigger than 32 GB on WING due to certain limitations. But you can format them on your computer and then use them on the console. We just don't want to confuse users that arrive at an important event WITH bigger cards but WITHOUT their computer.
-could You separate lights setup and user defined from each other in the automation - i just wanted to clear user section and got blinded by the lights :)
We would like Dante and Madi, so does that mean we need to wait for the internal Dante card to come available before we purchase the Wing since we would use the expansion slot for MADI? I believe the internal Dante card is not user installable.
@@behringer good. personally i need both DANTE and ADAT connections. i also need to know if there are plans for some StageBox specifically made for Modular Synth users, interfacing lots of minijack inputs and outputs to AES50 or to StageCONNECT
Are you familiar with mix station? Blows the x32 app out the water. Really no comparison which is probably why they didn’t even try for the wing! I personally prefer this, since the console manufacturer has been historically slow updating the app. Let Behringer/Midas Focus on making hardware and let someone else focus on the software
hello, do you think this video can be "answered". ua-cam.com/video/VYhycGhpAz4/v-deo.html It seems to me that they did test without the new firmware. which would already resolve the issue of linking the inputs (copilot), speed of faders. ... the guy is very negatif ... and he has the right. but the 2 things he s complaining about seems not legit. The assigning of effectreturns to inputs ... can be resolved in another way ? i thought that sending the returns of FX to inears/busses was easy. just to know if their shooting at behringer for the fact that it is different or ... lacking quality

I'm kinda still interested but my interest isn't what it was when I first heard the rumors of it coming. Still... a 24 fader controller with basic monitor section could be worth the price of entry.
Hello Behringer Wing Team i try again, i post this two days ago
Hello copilot development team, the ipad app specification are ios 10, but on my iPad 10.3.4 the app crashes after the startup of the Behringer logo.
I like the logo but I want to see some more about the copilot app.😊
So wen will it run on iPad ios 10 or higher...
Hi Peter, Thanks for the feedback. There is a specific limitation in iOS 10 that we can´t fix. We will have to change the app compatibility to iOS 11 in the next version.
@@mtdedevteam damm how gonna tell my wife that I also need a new Ipad... All my money went to Uli Behringer for my Wing
off line for windows???
OK,but what about studio work
Yes could there be some videos about using this for studio? Everything i’ve seen so far has been geared towards live work.
this app is not compatible with my Androids Samsung s9+ ????????
I see that you can then assign a source to a channel on Copilot. It would be great if the source name then appeared on the console channel strip. At the moment it has to be re entered.
I need help. With the new version and latest update. I can't connect my ipad anymore
I haven't checked, but presets on all the different FX would be nice.
You can save all FX presets in the library section.
When will there be an offline software editor
We absolutely need the ability to do instant, live scene changes otherwise, this console is useless in a theatrical environment. Seriously, this should have been included at launch.
100% agree i cant find any info anywhere on scene automation
Hi. Can you add delay on outputs and GEQ on faders?
Why i can't mix in Apple WING application?
Yeah, Android App!
How about an Android App for my Deepmind? 🥺
Seconded !
He said Android App exists
Uhh isn’t there one?
They have both apps on Android
Can we get a video how to set up mutiple studio monitors also how to setup with logic
HI your are also reading the Behringer Wing User Group in Facebook? There will also be pasted lot of Bugs or feature requests? Thanks
For sure Mr. Lauer. ;)
So Behringer I don't want to be annoying but when are you releasing the Yamaha cs80 clone? Tell me soon or I will keep asking.
Where's wing compact version
Dear behringer Make compect digital audio mixer fully touch display physical fader less in 32ch like qsc touchmix series really need this type of digital mixer please hear behringer
What is the deal with the SD cards - some people are saying they can use 128GB or 512GB. Why is your official recommendation only 32GB?
You can't format cards bigger than 32 GB on WING due to certain limitations. But you can format them on your computer and then use them on the console.
We just don't want to confuse users that arrive at an important event WITH bigger cards but WITHOUT their computer.
-could You separate lights setup and user defined from each other in the automation - i just wanted to clear user section and got blinded by the lights :)
Killer console.
Why is the copilot not compatible with my Google Pixel 3?
Do you need a pilot license?
How can I save a snapshot to usb? I keep getting an error
i don't get it...
wasn't the Dante option going to be an internal card that would use the onboard LAN connectors ?
Both. But the user-installable card will come first.
I like the mixer. But NO CONTROL FOR MAC !!!??? Are you serious?! Furthermore, no official app for iPhone or Android phones! That's a shame...
When well the x32 app be updated
Are you familiar with mix station? Blows the x32 app out the water. Really no comparison which is probably why they didn’t even try for the wing! I personally prefer this, since the console manufacturer has been historically slow updating the app. Let Behringer/Midas Focus on making hardware and let someone else focus on the software
wow
does this console go. to 96khz ?
Sangeetha Mane no, it’s 48k
@@whatarewedoingouthere Thank you
disculpe es compatible con mi stage presonus 24R. ..para expandirla a 32 canales.
No
SD8, SD16, S16, S32, etc.
Drums are actually red. Bass is green.
1 person was too drunk to hit the like button properly
That’s all very well, but I didn’t get a paper manual with my Poly D!
ugh, hard copy
Dara M at the risk of me sounding like an absolute dick, apart from the sequencer, why would you need one?
We need APP for smartphones
Soon(ish)
If only 96khz
Is there really a difference live?
Not everyone wants to use these solely live
My Motorola smartphone is not compatibily....😐😐😐
For now the app only works on tablets.
Nur Schade um meine beiden liebgewonnenen UFX1204 😢.
@@-Ashunar oder ne DL32.
We need rack version
Half beard challenge?
Can this control a DAW?
yes
hello, do you think this video can be "answered". ua-cam.com/video/VYhycGhpAz4/v-deo.html
It seems to me that they did test without the new firmware. which would already resolve the issue of linking the inputs (copilot), speed of faders. ...
the guy is very negatif ... and he has the right. but the 2 things he s complaining about seems not legit. The assigning of effectreturns to inputs ... can be resolved in another way ? i thought that sending the returns of FX to inears/busses was easy. just to know if their shooting at behringer for the fact that it is different or ... lacking quality
