This perfectly captures the essence of Spiderman. Just some young boy who received his powers but tried to make the most and best out of them. The world always demanded best from him,he was always expected to do better, to be the best, to be the savior. But deep down he was none of that and he knew it and blamed himself for not being so. Each thing he did good or bad, he would always judge himself for it. He never wanted to be a superhero but knew it had to be done. Each of his failure tore him apart more than anyone thinks. But he still carried on because he knew it needed to be done. You could say in his own world that nobody else understood he was always fighting alone. But he knew if he did not fight, he more than anyone else would regret it. So he faced up and leaped forward.
Every time I hear "If you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it", I get chills.

This is by far the best edit I've seen of Peter Parker since FFH came out. It just depicts everything that he's been through and everything that he's overcome so perfectly. @@Zaylio I've seen it. For some reason, it doesn't exactly hit me as hard. I've seen nearly all of Slyfer's marvel edits and in my opinion they aren't as good as they used to be. Don't get me wrong, Slyfer definitely has some serious talent, but I think at this point all of their videos sort of feel the same. Maybe that's just me, idk. I've for sure got some serious respect for all of Slyfer's work, but this one still tops in my book¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes he thought he was ready but when push came to shove he wasn't.
Just like growing up in real life… as a kid your so desperate to be an adult because of all the grown up things you get to do and no longer having to be told what to do most of the time by your parents, etc. you know all the things kids love about being an adult.
But then your an adult and suddenly everything isn’t sunshine and rainbows anymore and suddenly you’re being stressed by those around you, all these expectations and responsibilities are set before you, and before you know it you want to be a kid again.
Far From Home perfectly encapsulates that and I feel sad that not many people talk about that connection to real life.

@ParvisI think that they spent the entire movie trying to say that he will live up to be BETTER than Tony, I do not think that they meant he was his own man because he is compared and said to be a lot like tony many times. But i agree that they pushed the intentions of the character development back when Marvel had been working to get to this point with Peter through out all the past movies he was in.

Tom Holland's spider man is a baby, a child,he too immature, he doesn't live up to Toby Maguire.
But he's the thing, spider man is a child, he was only 15, in highschool!, So for us to say he too much of a baby, well that's not true, he shows emotions, something that the previous spider men hardly did, he's a kid, he's not a adult, he going to be scared, for god sakes that is why spider man wears his mask, to hide the fear, he may not be perfect but he's growing up, he's learning, he's going to go through some major shit along the way.
Toby Maguire's spider man was good, but his comedy was corny, he didn't show true emotions to anyone but Mary Jane,his character was always getting shit on too much and sure in the comics he was also getting shit on , but not all the time like in spider man 2, he doesn't grow as Peter Parker , he grows barley as spider man, I'm not saying he's a bad spider man, I'm just saying he too stiff as a character, he doesn't show who Peter Parker is , he doesn't show the struggles of learning to be spider man, he was alone, really he was, Harry gave up on him, mare Jane was always leaving him, aunt may wasn't the supportive character to Peter as she was supposed to be, he had no body, and maybe that why he might have not be a strong spider man, it's was a great franchise but he was not THE spider man, but I think Toby did really try and over all I think he's a very accurate spider man
Andrew Garfield's spider man, was just bad, what his spider man failed being, was spider man him self, Peter doesn't become spider for great responsibility, he comes spider man for revenge, he became a hero so that he could beat the living shit out of the guy who killed his uncle, and with the sloppy writing and acting his franchise suffered a great deal, his villians didn't really have a great connection to Peter like they do in the comics, he doesn't care about people lives and makes jokes in the second movie that effect other people lives, sure the movie doesn't show the after math but we can't just ignore the deaths we see, he gains the trust of new Yorks when he only save one guys son, and it's just the one dad that should ha e helped him but Sony rushed and didn't evolved his character.
His spider man is flaws , to the point where it's not even spider man, he's focus way too much on Gwen, aunt may is barley there for him to talk too, he's a jerk as Peter and as spider man, whats wrong with his spider man the most his that, he doesn't feel like spider man , he doesn't feel like Peter Parker, he feels like the cool guy in school and less like a nerd , that he feels like an antihero or something cocky like iron Man or too risky like Deadpool, he doesn't feel like SPIDER MAN, and its ok if you like his spider man and like his movies but you have to admit it's not THE spider man.
Tom Holland's spider man, he was introduced not by an origin story but as a kid who wanted to proof him self a hero, to show that he can be something more than. A kid, that's was Peter's origins is about, he join the wrestling match to be notice, to test his powers, T.H.'s (Tom Holland's) spider man is shown joking around but not being annoying to the audience, his quips are fun, he's not perfect , he gets hit and is shown to be scared and shows a lot of emotions in civil war, in his solo movie we see him in school and how he struggles with his daily life and personal realionships, but in the end he becomes a better man , a better spider man, he shows that he can hold his ground even when the odds are not in his favor he can show that he really just want to protect every body and make the world a better place, his world is bigger, there are more heros he has more friends , his aunt and him talk about have a fun realionship and when she notice that he his acting weird go goes out of her was to ask what is going on, sure that may not seem like much but it's more than Any of the other aunt Mary's have been shown to do, plus he has more than. Two suits, yes I know that the suit don't make a difference but look at them, his iron spider suit , the black and red Steve ditko suit, his classic suit, the stealth suit, I mean his amazing to see him wear all of them, he is shown in endgame and infinity what to be scared because he's never been to space or but he still fights he doesn't back down, he shows that he can be his own hero, and that's wear his second squeal comes in, in this movie he's going through a great pain, losing some one close to him, he is learning how to deal with this lost, and how strong Peter Parker really his, yes he's not perfect, but he his learning and who knows , maybe in some time in the future he could be THE spider man, he becoming a man, a spider man, we just have to wait and watch.

You’re right about almost everything but one thing. Andrews Spider-Man has its flaws through out the progression of the story but his peter is aimlessly wandering where he is going to go as someone who’s trying to learn about his parents more that he lost and also that as him starting to be a spider-man because of revenge, he learned from that. in terms of pain and struggles, andrew seems like he’s has the most mental struggles which was a good message out of the tasm movies and after gwen died, he was scarred and felt guilty about everything, which Spider-Man disappeared from the city, leaving the city hopeless. He came back because he knew that’s what he should do. his peter may be off but the messages in terms of mental struggles and decisions is what really shows in these movies.
I mean you can have your opinions but your take on Tobey was wrong. Sure you might prefer Tom and thats all good but Tobey wasn't lacking anything you said he was lacking. You can't just blindly follow Nostalgia Critic. Anyway like who you wanna like but don't ignore thr facts infront of you.

I was introduced ro Spider-man in 90's and I never thought about him as "mentally strong". In the contrary, he was young and VERY afraid about what can happen to his friends and family. Plus his life was a wreck. The only thing that he was set stone for was always just his moral standarts (with the great power...). Thats what makes him to get up every time he messes up.
And no one can tell me that this wasn't portrayed right in the MCU.

My favorite Spider-Man scene with Tom Holland would be when he’s creating his suit for what he wants because it reminds me of tony and how he created his suits and how those suits would always thrive in certain situations because they were built to be good at a lot of things but great at a couple of things and it takes a lot of courage to accept what Spider-Man did I’m so excited for the next movie

Tbh I teared up a little bit. This video was absolutely amazing. I think Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was the best bc he had a deep backstory. He was a normal teenage boy, going to high school. Then all of a sudden he was saving the world. He lost Tony, his role model who was the only one who believed in him. He lost his parents too. He had the world telling him what he can and can’t do. He just wanted a normal, teenage life

I was mad when furry talked to Spider-Man like he was not good enough. He thought peter was grown he is still a teenager and figuring out life so if he doesn’t want to step up that’s not his fault tony knew that peter was a kid and yet he chose him so he I good enough. Also when beck said maybe if you were better tony would still be alive I was so mad and I was like tony sacrificed himself for the better of peter and the whole world so he if peter was the better tony would still have sacrificed himself to save the universe

5:11 is so heartbreaking 😭😭 if you think about it Peter has been through so much pain , faults , heartbreak since he arrived , I guess he wanted to be like his heroes , because that's what everyone wants to be like , that's what people in magazines animes cartoons do , they want to be their hero , and that's what I love about Peter Parker , he doesn't want to be left out , he wants to help , he wants to be a hero to others , MILLIONS of others , he wants to be in the big leagues , he knows it's tough to be an avenger but he would rather die with his heroes than on his own , he's always put others before him , even if his life depended on it , even if his private life was ruined , and that's another thing about what I love about Peter , he STRUGGLES , he trys to balance two things at once , and that's what makes him really relatable and lovable , he isn't just a superhero with superheroes , he's only human , and I guess in a way we all are Spiderman / Peter Parker , we all feel his failures and his struggles because we go through the same failures and struggles too , and that's why he's not just a fictional character , he's a relatable , lovable , likable , amazing person who stays strong for others when they don't know what shit he does through , and that's the thing , he doesn't want others to go through the shit he has to go through , he doesn't want others to go through the struggles , heartbreak , pain and faults he goes through , and that's why he makes sure others are safe and sound , so they will live another day to see their loves ones while he doesn't know if he will , he knows there may not be a day he gets to go home and see his loved ones , he knows he's not unstoppable , but he knows he would try if it meant innocents and loved ones are safe . And I think that's why ( MCU ) Spiderman is the best .

One of the details I love about MCU Spider-Man is in the fight with Thanos in Infinity War. There's this moment where the Guardians are thrown away, and while Dr Strange and Iron Man keep on fighting, Spidey immediatly goes on the rescue to protect them. He's litterally up against one of the biggest threat in the galaxy, and still turns away to prevent others from getting hurt. It is a small detail, but it's my favorite detail of the whole fight.

God, the editing of this is on _point._ I always find myself coming back to it, especially 5:05. I remember sitting in the theaters during that part where Happy is watching Peter and smacking my dad on the arm, saying, "That's from the first Iron Man movie!"

After No Way Home, I fully respect Tom's Spider-Man. I think Marvel handled his character perfectly, considering the universe he was thrown in. Tony Stark exists in Peter's life as the hero he wanted to be, someone he thought was perfect. Over the course of the first two movies, Peter has to realize that he can never be like Tony Stark and that he has to be his own person. Every iteration of Spider-Man deals with the question of identity, but they put them in different environments and scenarios to mix it up. At the end of the day, it's Spider-Man, someone we all look up to. What could be better than that?
