Cheers man! Thanks for the features. Awesome seeing the other maps in here too, there are some epic new maps from other creators popping up lately that make me super excited.
I could definitely recommend NZ as an inspiration, I went travelling there about a year ago and it is a brilliant place to take inspiration from! I'd recommend a look at places like Dunedin and Napier but Christchurch and Nelson are really interesting places as well!
Christchurch would be one to create a similar build style like Bay Port. I've had plenty of requests for that one. It's just super huge. I think that one would be a great choice to recreate if we ever get bigger map sizes.
Some fine looking maps in there mate. (It's dunn-eedinn BTW... not june-din... Gaelic name for Edinburgh as it happens...) Rafterman's maps are epic but a wee heads-up for folks looking to play them: you will need the Anarchy and BetterBulldozer mods as a minimum otherwise you'll be very constricted on what you can do (and how the maps look and behave). Hopefully one day I may even have a map for you to review here...
IMO One of the best parts of the Bay Port map is the tiles. He made them the shape and size of all of those detailed farms. So it slows down your development and creates a realistic story where you're buying land from farmers to develop the city. BTW I love the map showcase series! 🎉
Thank you for sharing this information with us. I have been looking for some new great looking maps to play on and this helps so much. Just another reason why I think this channel is one of the best UA-cam channels on here. You have been a great supporter for us when it comes to representing to colossal order and paradox what we detailers want from the game. We all own you our thanks for so many things that helped make the game more enjoyable for us all. So thank you again so much for everything you have done and will continue doing to help make Cities Skylines a better experience for us all.
Fantastic maps! It does give one so many ideas. I approve of using the NZ inspired map for the next series. Maybe the eventual Build Guide. I think it can have a nice mixture of city, farmland and resource extraction
Nebraska, Idaho and Wisconsin are definitely not in the Northeast😂 they’re Midwest, I’d even call Idaho West. Northeastern US is like Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, etc.
I'm not sure if i should get CS2 as the water texture looks unattural and out of scale. Maybe there are mods to change this but I was expecting it to be much better than this. Its like a step backwards from CS1
There is an enjoyable builder in CS2, however only if you play with the mods. The vanilla experience isn't great atm. If you enjoy the more vanilla gameplay, stick with CS1 for now
Just watching Overcharged Egg whilst sat next to Overcharged Egg 😂
Cheers man! Thanks for the features.

Cricket fan in me knows that as "Done-eden" 😆 - Cracking looking map mind. Appreciate these little showcases.
@@e-bow cheers mate ❤️

@@RaftermanNZ I’d love to see that! I live in a small town just north of Christchurch. ☺️ Your maps are amazing, btw!

@@PoplarPonderosa love that idea !
Oh, these are fun. I vote for Dunedin.
The LA one brings "Lane Man" into my head (Cities by Diana).
Another wonderful coffee and Egg morning 😊
Lots of new maps. Love Bay Port and Dunedin. You can just see what to build on them. They tease you into it! 🤩 All are lovely maps!
Jsut before this video, I discovered Draconia and it reignited me to play this game again
Yeah! June-Din … my home city 😅👌

Dunedin is pronounced - duh-nee-din
had a good laugh at your interpretation tho :D
Yes! I've been looking for someone to review maps! 😊

The pronunciation of Dunedin made me giggle.
Owh,,, More maps, Ty for the VOD. 🥃🥃
Cricket is probably one of the most played & good vibe games on Cities: Skylines.
I can’t pick one, they all look amazing 🤩
@10:30 Actually it's based at the region of Santos - São Paulo, Brasil, but without the main island where is Santos and São Vicente.
Northeast is New York and New England. What you're describing is Midwest.
And Idaho is in the Pacific Northwest, while he was thinking of Iowa
Great looking maps
I literally just bought a new pc just for this game and some of these maps still lag at a low pop. Optimization is just not there still
Coole Mape warte immer noch auf die Konsolen Version
Would love to see one of my maps on your Channel one day Mr Egg!
Will remember to check some out mate!
yeah boiiiii

The right video to the right time! I was commuting home from work thinking about "man, I need to start a new city on a new map." Thanks OE ❤

Daybreak.... Palm trees+snow= dumb
I just want console as I can’t afford a pc
What is NZ mean?
New Zealand
Idaho is nowhere near there. You're thinking about Ohio. Idaho is in the Rocky Mountains.
Thank you!
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG You bet! I loved your video BTW. I'm just a geography nerd. forgive me.
Ohio isn’t Northeast either though. All he names are Midwest, Idaho is even like Pacific Northwest
@@NJxTN I'm weird this way, but Eastern time zone is all east to us out here.
I hope the asset collections get released soon, or the asset editor 🥲
