it's really funny you mention the music being like Sonic Rush's, because almost immediately after, a voice saying "start the machine" is heard, which is also a sample used in a Sonic Rush track.

I was looking at this and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking that the art style of this looked so familiar. Sure enough, I looked up the developer and it turns out he had worked on some games for Nitrome, which is one of my favorite small developers. They made a ton of cool flash games and some good mobile games too. The guy that made this only worked on some of their more recent mobile games. Still, really cool to see those people at Nitrome still making stuff. (Nitrome is also working with Yacht Club Games on Shovel Knight Dig, by the way)
Lol as a budget gamer, i always ignore triple a games and get them on sale later down the line maybe even years later.. But i always will keep track of them little awesome indie guys.

I thought i'd mention that I found your channel via the collab you did with the nerd Final Fight. I always thought the magnum dong person wasn't a real person till... i found wha happun and put the two together. Kept going I know that voice....... I know that voice.... haha, Thanks for providing me with HOURS and HOURS of stuff to listen to during long commutes or when I need a distraction. Thanks for the great content.
Big fan of the extreme anticapitalist bend in the first two minutes of this video tbh, we're all tired and mad and deserve better. plus, love seeing new gorgeous indie games, so, really, no downsides.
