Got one of these to live on my plate carrier, it's an excellent blade but I found some hotspots on the scales where the main finger groove meets the rest of the handle. A few minutes with a sanding block fixed it and now it's perfect.

Just ordered the blackout version from Midway - they have a killer sale on them right now. Such a perfect edc belt knife. I have always loved the Seal Pup, and this is basically that knife on steroids haha! And just to add a different opinion on the belt lock, I put various brands of these types of "tek-loks" on most of my fixed blade knives and they work perfect for me.
Ordered the same knife from Midway! Too good of a deal to pass up! LOVE the look and feel... It truly is a great knife!

I saw one other review of this fixed blade before this one and the only difference os what he said the new one have changed on them and that's that SOG is gone and now it says

You may also attach the mount for the scout position. In this case the slide is out of reach and the knife is secured.

Just got one today! Love it! Was surprised at it's size, smaller than I expected, but after handling it, it's JUST RIGHT! Great EDC knife, blends in well due to it's size! Light, don't even
know it's there! VERY SHARP, great steel! It's a keeper! Great EDC/Tactical/Survival Knife! You will be pleased with it! I am planning to FDE Cerecote it, that will enhance the durability!

I also got the backout version from Midway. It was "too good" of a deal to pass up! Put a 3.3 ulti-clip on it and it's been going EVERYWHERE I go... No doubt about it, it's a great knife! Great video too btw...
I have way more folders than fixed blades. The fixed blades I have are either bigger (mostly) or smaller than this one. I am seeing this as a great size for an overall tool and I'm thinking I am needing one in my collection. Thanks!

Jolly Peanut sent me over here to look at this knife and I love the knife and you have a new subscriber! Also I don't like those clips that come on the Kydex sheaths either, I started using the ULTICLIP on almost every Kydex sheath I have except for the Tops Wild Pig Hunter...

hi all. i have this knife and love it but dont like the sheath sits to high for my liking. anyone know for a better sheath that fits. something with a belt loop to take it out of my ribs lol. leather or anything. want it for camping and bushcraft. thanx
I think the best bet would be to have someone make you a Leather sheath or something you like better.
Loved the content and you showed that blade off pretty nicely but if I may. It would maybe improve the quality of the review content if you actually wear the blade on your belt and then actually deploy it maybe also demonstrate sharpness.

Anything I have s35vn Is more my "self defense" knives. As good as it is s35vn feels kinda brittle to me more made for (meat skin) lol
