He spoke about his love scene in "Dream Scnario," calling it the "most humiliating in the history of cinema." He also elaborated on comments that he may only do a few more movies.

The fun, authenticity, and life that Hollywood had in the 70s, 80s, and 90s has now been completely drained away. You can tell Nicolas Cage is a shadow of his former self.. along with all of the [awful] movies that he has made the last 10 years. Such a shame. 😦
I know what you mean (I've seen about half of his movies since 2013...), but you gotta watch the great, true crime drama 'The Frozen Ground' (2013), the outrageous 2018 'Mandy' with Manson Family-like hippies and Demon Bikers from Hell, and the magic 'Color Out of Space' the following year. Also the mystery 'Pig' (2021), the hilarious 'The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent' from 2022, where Chilean Pedro Pascal steals the show (still...), or as Dracula once more in last year's 'Renfield' (no cockroach eating, though...).
I haven't seen this year's 'Sympathy for the Devil', 'Dream Scenario' or 'The Retirement Plan' yet (there are other movies, music and I gotta sleep sometimes...), but I had to watch 'Willy's Wonderland' (also 2021) twice, just to be sure I'd seen what I'd seen. Murderous, human sized circus animatronic dolls causing murder and mayhem, and Nic fencing them off like it was Bruce Campbell in 'Evil Dead' on a 3rd generation video tape with Greek subtitles some 42 years ago (yeah, I'm that old, older than Nicolas Coppola...).
