The new battery has only 1 connector XT60, but the original has 2 connectors; XT60 and a 2 Pin/Type 2, which is for charging. Is the new battery with 1 connector XT60 as well as discharging and charging?
Never seen one with 2 connectors. On most hoverboards, you have only 1 connector which connects to the board. The charging connector connects to board as well.
Hey! Ive came here to ask if you know how to check how much battery your hover board has? Because when im going out i cant see how much percentage it has..and im worried it can turn off while riding.
Hi there, it could be a way to do it. You can mount a mini voltmeter to VCC (after the power switch, you don't want your multimeter to be on at all times, only when your hoverboard is powered on )and GND pins inside the hoverboard and make a hole in the case to be able to see it from outside. If it indicates 42V then is fully charged, if it's 35V then it's discharged. It will warn you anyways, when your battery is low, and you'll still be able to get back home, if you're not too far away. Hope I answered your question. Thanks for watching! Can you please subscribe to my channel ?
Carefully remove them from the pack and you can put new ones, but I recommend using similar age cells with similar capacity. If you put new ones, the old ones will wear faster.
My battery wouldn't charge because it was just a litter undervoltage. Battery light red and only beeping. But here is a tip: when you remove the gyro cable (next to the led cable) on one side the battery charges. When it gets to 36v then the gyro cable can be attached again. That only works if no cell has failed, but you can try it (just be around the first charges, in case anything goes wrong).
Sir please help me! My battery is showing 37v but hoverboard is not turning on but when i connect the charger direct to hoverboard where battery xt60 connector was connected to hoverboard so my hoverboard turned on means hoverboard is ok, battery is not charging through hoverboard and direct with charger just showing 37v and all cells are showing 4.2v, charger output is 42.5v and bms is also in good condition and showing output please reply me help me i don't know what to do
Bro plz plz plz plz plz plz can u show wiring properly means red wire is connected with 1st cell or 2nd cell all wiring My hoverboard battery wiring is not good Then i subscribe u
Hi, thick red wire is battery positive, thick black wire is battery negative. Other wires are between cells, they act as positive for previous series and negative for the following one.

How can we replace the battery cells that have low volts?

Teach us how to replace the batteries. Do we solder it?
I'm going to make a video about that soon. You can solder them, but it's not recommended, the best way is to spot weld them. Subscribe ?

How do you know bms is in good condition ?
@@OvidiuMarin looks like there is no short circuit and ever things look great
But when i connect charger to battery direct without bms still battery is not charging
I have another charger constant current led driver 44v output can i use it for battery charging?
You can try, what's the output current ?
all of my battery has over 4 volts but still, it's not charging? charger led turns red for like 20 second and goes back to green any idea ?
Bad BMS or bad connection. Check the nickel strips.
@@OvidiuMarin how do i know if nickel strip are bad
when i plugged the charger in the hoverboard seem to work fine the moment i removed it it stops .will it work if the bms is bad
Measure voltage per whole battery pack
@@OvidiuMarin its around 27 v
