So I can imagine there was some manager standing over the head of the chap who fitted this piece and asking him every 5min. Where we are, are you ready, did you get that bit done, come on mate it's just to tightened 4 bolts, this is 10min job and you spent 8hours on it. The client will come tomorrow hurry up. We will finish this bit tomorrow, go and help the guys with the deck fitting. And then all of a sudden is truly the last day coming, the boat must go, and someone fuck up the good job because there is no time and this circus is ruled by the clown.
