Stamping with Baby Wipes - 5 Minute Cards

- In today's 5 Minute Cards Video, I show you how to use baby wipes as an ink pad to create a beautiful watercolored look. Depending on how you add reinker to your baby wipe, you can create really interesting looks! I used scribble lines but you can try dots or squiggly lines, just make sure that the colors you use are close to each other on the color wheel (think rainbow order) so when then blend together, they don't get muddy!
Stamps:
Fluttering Fall Layering Stencil Bundle
Dies:
A Little Hello Layering Stencil Bundle
Reinker Colors:
Jelly Bean Green
Turquoise Sea
Wild Lilac
Sequins:
Mermaid's Tail
I used Huggies Baby Wipes but any kind will work!

Such a beautiful card! I love the colors and the butterfly stamp. I've never tried using a stamp to create a patterned paper yet but
I will definitely try this after I get some re-inkers! Thank you for this 5 minute card video!
I've done snowflakes like this: Blue Denim in middle, Turquoise Sea on either side, and Ocean Mist as the outer stripes of ink. Really pretty!

Clever!
Lovely,I’m having a go ❤
Love it!
Gosh, this is beautiful.... ♥♥♥ Thanks so so much.
Beautiful effect! ❤
Love It 💕💕💕💕
So cute:)
Oh how pretty! I like the softer look this gave. Can you save the ‘ink pad’ for future use, maybe short term at least? Or does the ink migrate too much… ? Thanks for sharing this fun technique! 🦋 🧑🏼🎨😀💗
Maybe in a plastic bag?
Very cool! Would makeup remover wipes work as well?
They might? I’m not sure what’s in them. If they are oily, then no. ❤
thank you
What kind of reinkers do you need to use, inks, oxide or either? Are there any other type of inks you can use, what about alcohol inks? Your card is just lovely. I'm so excited about this technique cuz I usually don't do anything that pretty. 🌹
I use dye inks. You can probably use distress or oxides,(I haven’t tried them,) but not alcohol inks because they just dry too quickly.
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV I think I have five of those from India that I got off Amazon. Thank you!
This is so pretty.
Love the technique but….I don’t own re-inkers.
Did you make the stamp yourself, or is it store bought? 🤔😍
It’s from the Gina K. Designs Fluttering Fall layering stencil bundle. ❤
NICE
I love this idea, but I don't have re-inkers. Would alcohol inks work instead?
I think the ink will dry up on the stamp. I’d recommend dye reinkers for this technique.
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV Thank you 🌻
