Faux Embossing - A fun stamping technique that you HAVE to try!

- Happy Friday friends!! I have a new video for you! In today's 5 Minute Cards video, I show you how to get the look of an embossing folder with just paper and ink! The Faux Embossing technique is easy to do and you can turn any stamp into that raised, textured look that you would normally get with an embossing folder. It's such a fun stamping technique and it's a lot easier to do than it looks! I'd love to know what you think of this technique! That is just incredible. It totally looks like it was embossed. I am completely blown away by this technique. This is truly a trompe-l'oeil technique. Wow! That's a beautiful stamp, too.

I haven't been this impressed/amazed/perplexed since I first saw embossing powder melt 30 years ago. I kept putting my face up to the screen to "see closer," like trying to figure out an optical illusion. Can't wait to try this!!
