Seattle City Drive - Seattle Neighborhoods - First Hill to Rainier Beach on towards Renton
We drive out of downtown Seattle southbound on surface streets at rush hour. Our route begins near the Washington State Convention Center and follows Boren and Rainier Avenue South. First Hill and nearby Cherry Hill are home to many of Seattle's major medical centers (Swedish, Virginia Mason, and UW Harborview). Rainier Avenue passes through some of the most culturally and economically diverse neighborhoods in the Pacific Northwest.
