If you guys want some very well thought out, character driven time travel sci-fi, there's a 3 season German series on Netflix called Dark. It's definitely not action based, but the past/present/future storyline is woven so extremely well. I cannot recommend it enough to people who are fans of the genre.

Angry Tom is fun Tom. After a certain point from watching this I just stopped trying to figure it out. Such an exhausting film.
