@@epicon6 thats impressive. I’ve memorised all of master raven’s move list and almost all of alisa’s. I’ve been playing bad against my cousins though idk why. They just play aggressively and by some miracle land every launcher. Any tips on how i could get better? I plan to stick to master raven since Alisa is almost just good for her pokes and since i got a headache trying to learn yoshimitsu
@@sultanhalawani9895 Launchers are punisheable and often slower seeable moves, so learn the match up against your cousins, so you learn what their top launchers are and lab them so you can see them and then side step to the correct side or block and punish back. Against agressive players you need to use your space controlling moves, so learn which of your moves give + on block and you can use those to backdash, side step or start a 10 frame move before them. Also go to punishment training against the characters your cousins play and learn to utilize all of your punisher moves in as many situations as possible. That way when they push on, instead of blocking and getting caught, you can punish / side step and punish and interrupt their game plan constantly. So many moves are punisheable / side steppable that agressive players are used to. Also it's important to learn what is your character's most effective distance to the opponent and try to stay there and then it's easier to punish the opponent. And memorise moves that work best in close range, mid range and longer range because that way you are not using slower moves when you are close to the opponent and when they are pressuring you.
Not to nitpick but I think it's worth mentioning for anyone trying to learn this character that both flash (1+4) and the 2nd hit of NSS FC df1,2 don't need counter hits for their respective combos. Also 1+2+3 has more plus frames the further in the animation that it counter hits, so you can visually confirm how late into its active frames it lands and get full launchers like CD1.
I just finished watching your other video about Yoshi’s patches. Starting tomorrow I will pick him up and see what I can do...keep up the good content my friend
Yo the combo at 1:53 seems like its kinda inconsistent, is there a trick between the tackle and the screw attack? I only did it once after sidestepping to the left... but even then I only got it once
This is the "charging move" which transitions into a running flee and drop head hit at the end of this combo. Simple and effective to be used alone as well. :)
You "Buffer" it. I had problems with this as well, you press the kincho button while doing b 1 2. you can see that 1+2 (kincho) and b 1 2 are within the same green arrows so you have to press them together.
Amazing, thumbs up... I think that the combo on 4:38 that ends with d1 is 87 damage guaranteed, not 91 as people might think. if you press as fast as you can its 87. idk if its possible to delay it to gain 4 more damage. maybe opponent can then duck and block?
Right, so I may be extremely late but you have to do a microdash before using flash. Basically you want to press forward twice, and then let go of the control stick and immediately use 1+2.
great combos! Especially some mini combos will be very helpful. Do you have any advice why flash into flea combo at 3:35 is inconsistent for me? So often the flea does not even hit and my sword is between their legs for zero damage. Like the hitbox is perfectly between their legs. Sometimes it hits but does not launches. FLEA 2 is also very inconsistent if slightly off axis for me. Sometimes the first swords hit and then whiff and i get punished ... very demotivating since it should be a juggle. Did you try *d2,2,1* as wall ender and also wall combo with a high wallsplat? Seems you prefer 3~4 but quite often it also resplats a second time in corner or off-axis situations into d2,2,1 again. Optional gives good frames for spinning sword trap if the last hit forces another high splat. I am still learning yoshi combos but one very stable combo for many launchers is *d2,2 - df1,2 - d2,2,1* For big chars as king you can replace df1,2 with d2,1 for more wall wall carry and damage i think. And then you can finish with d2,2,1 again at the wall or break.
Some of these combos don't work anymore right? some just don't connect like df1 after df2 - f-> n d-> df1 doesn't seem to connect and some combos finishing with d2 2 1 don't connect on the last hit, some can be salvaged delaying the 1 at the end but some just don't work. Am i doing it wrong or has something changed in the last months?
