Just got my screw driver, still saving up for the parts. That athalon is in my chrome book lol.
Same lol
Same lol
Ik it’s an absolute pain to pay for a pc. I’d personally recommend an optiplex build with a gpu under $50 like a gtx 550 ti
Just got my parts saving for the screwdriver
I recently got my gaming laptop. I can't wait to sell it for a PC.
Am I building a pc? No. And if I was, would I be building a 'cheap' gaming PC? Hell no. Am I watching every Austin Evans video regardless of topic? Yes, yes I am :)
Are we still trying to thing about it? Yesn’t
Got a ps5 and a switch
Hotel? Trivago
@@RicolewisFFX nice :)
@@samuellavoie5833 thanks in lucky
I bought a prebuilt PC from Amazon that was £300. It also came with a monitor, mouse and keyboard
Let’s say that it took 30 minutes to log on😅
for those type of pc's get linux with xfce it was made for cheapo pc/laptops
@@thedeadkillerps7349 no way I'm using Linux 😂😂
@@thedeadkillerps7349 yeah it was Windows 10
@@thedeadkillerps7349 What's wrong with your install then???? I have i5-2320 and it runs win10 just fine (I hate linux)
@@thedeadkillerps7349 tf is wrong with you, i ran win 10 on a core 2 quad with an ssd before and it worked perfectly, stop downloading so much dodgy porn with viruses n ur shit will run fine tf
I'd like to see how they both stack up against one of those ~400$ 5500U laptops, or a 100$ optiplex with upgrades.
Those cost like 500$ now
@@loowick4074 literally $399 at Walmart right now. I'm pretty sure a link would get removed but it's like the 3rd result in my google search.
@@Vegatablez I guarantee either would be better vs the athalon. Old fx 8350 beats this cpu by 30+% And FX was kinda crap lol.
I’m just realizing this pc will perform way worse than my future “imaginary” steam deck that will for sure come out on time
Well because it's the cheapest parts but he is not going about the cheapest parts for the best performance
@@Deathbatman I know I just think it’s crazy
I wish you'd do more content like this, man. I love scrap/ultra-budget PC builds.
Building a pc today is expensive lol. Love your pc building videos and other videos too. You are awesome Austin
@♜ WhatsaP➕❶⑨❶③④⓪⑤③ ⑦❶⑤ lmfao
That monitor in particular is a great example of "cheap, but makes no sense" unless you specifically want something that small. For a PC you can get a much more comfortable 1080p monitor for just a little bit more.
Austin could have won by buying two ram modules for dual channel. On the other side, the 3000G got really expensive, it doesn't make any snese
Surprised that Evil Su pulled a full Intel/Nvidia on AMD and jacking up the prices?
I don't know why, but retailers often jack up the prices of old-ish CPUs. Where I live now Ryzen 2600 costs more than I spent on mine 3600 on release.
Austin never fails to entertain me, I be loving all his series 🤟
Be loving?
@@citizenkane2349 it do be like that
Scam profile.
Austin loves me but never fails to entertain ne
Yep, I wonder how much sleep or gaming time is lost, just to come up with them?
I’d love to see you guys do a second hand parts only challenge from eBay or something. No pre builds just all individually bought second harms parts and how much price to performance you can get
Could have went even cheaper without the combo-keyboard-mouse by getting them seperately.
@+❶❽❺⓿❽❹⓿❺❻❽❺Whatsapp bot
Dollar store mouse and keyboards.
I’m impressed by the latest AMD APUs. The 5600G is pretty beefy especially in this chaotic GPU market. The 3000g is rough. Especially at 2X MSRP.
well yeah its a 5600g
8 years ago, this guy lost his everything, a tragedy where a majority of people lose hope but look at him, 8 years later still going on and growing everyday. Man i love your content. Thanks for being so amazing :)

@@BearZ21 Oh… im glad he is doing good now
I love how he gets more upset about Josh using the clip of his house on fire than his actual house getting on fire.
😂The Case also held a monitor,,, plus I spotted Donut merch and LTT merch. Great video.
When the videos over. Throws it back into the dumpster where they found it lol
"Mom, can we get a gaming PC?"
"We have a gaming PC at home."
The Gaming PC at home:
0:54 Yes, been buying gaming laptops for over a decade. I understand they're not as powerful and harder to upgrade. I buy the highest end gaming laptop I can afford to use for a few years, sell and upgrade. Picked up a Lenovo legion 5. 5800h, 3070 for $1,400 last month. I'm set for a few years.
This whole video made me lol especially when Josh put a side vid of the house fire.
Omg that Leonharts pop up shop tshirt! Love seeing other UA-camr love!
Love it how Austin might not even realize he actually put the video of his house on fire yet hahaha

Jerad: $318 don’t short yourself really trying to go for that price to performance.
Also Jerad: *buys a clearance item from Best Buy*
Your videos are awesome dude!!! Keep it up 👍
Only one word can descrive the build and its “boom”
I actually wanna see this: a good cheap PC on StockX
wait...that's a thing?
@@austinevans i believe so?
@@austinevans okay, so not a cooler or case feom what I've seen. Ik you can get GPUs cheaper than Amazon tho. And apparently a mobo and CPUs. And that's the only stuff I don't see. I see HDD, NVMEs, heck even ddr5 RAM.
This video is kinda stupid. Without this shenanigans with tiny monitor, you actually need double channel RAM to use full potential of Athlon 3000G. In that scenario it is better than i3 integrated graphics.
@@aleksazunjic9672 o...kay??
Moral of the story? Get used parts to build your PC. CPUs rarely fail, and most RAM has lifetime warranty. Maybe splurge on a new SSD, and maybe even power supply, but used brings the cost way down. It also has an upgrade path.
@+❶❽❺⓿❽❹⓿❺❻❽❺Whatsapp robot
Don't trust anyone who even considers buying a used storage device or power supply.
I just wanna mention the fact that Austin has a donut shirt great collaboration✊🏾 and funny vid about cheap auto tech
I didn't Realize the leonhart popup shop t-shirt till the end... awesome
Austin+Jared strikes me as a perfect mirror of Linus+Riley for some reason.. :D
Having never built a PC before, I am actually learning something from this.
Just watch a few videos of his and you'll have a general idea of how a computer is built
@@IcyShots_ Yeah, it doesn't seem so bad. Just a lot of options to consider. I will not be using a cardboard box for the case though :)
@@UnboxerofWorlds I wouldn’t build one right now in the gpu market you could save some money and buy something better if you wait
@@Felix-xo3xp I might start building the rest and get a GPU later. Maybe roll with integrated graphics for a little while.
@@UnboxerofWorlds that’s actually a really good idea I think you should go with ryzen
At 3:32 Austin has finally switched form smelling to tasting like certain brands. Also the tiny power supply would probably light the box on fire after extended use. Not that it matters considering minecraft isn't really an option.
Can't overclock much on the laptop, but that "all-in-one" can go way above the laptop after the clocks are dialed in.
Nice build keep up the good work
I'm surprised you were able to get a "monitor" for so little. I have one of those rasp pi boards + cheap VGA (1024x600 or something) screens for my plex server. The server is in the basement and I just plugged the server to the rasp pi board and put the whole thing into a drawer so it is protected form the elements.
In fact, mine costs less bc it was 70 CAD and yours is 70 USD. at the risk of getting flagged as spam it was the GeeekPi 7 inch 1024 x 600 HDMI Screen LCD Display
Ah, his is a professional video monitor, not a PC monitor. Wrong product for the job, and he wasn't using a lot of the features that make it cost so much more, as they're specific to HD cameras (think TV station news reporter field cameras - that's what this is meant to be mounted on, and why the viewing angle is 30 degrees off center, since the cameras are shoulder-mounted, so it gives the operator a clear view).
i'm actually curious if i could get his particular product because the plastic housing is a lot safer than my setup where i am always scared something will pop out or crack.
it's like he should've bought my product (would make for a more hilarious video IMO) and i should've bought his lol
love the pc build videos
You should make a video where you try to fix the pins on a cpu. I just finished building my pc and I had to fix the CPU pins by myself (not fun but it works perfectly).
My first SSD was 10gb... wasn't officially invented yet, and cost $10,000. Yeah. Only good part was that I didn't pay for it... also it could melt itself at the push of a button, and yes, that was an intended feature.
That last note killed me
Were you a" Uninvited foreign observer"
The PC might have some old parts but it still runs perfectly
For office tasks

Yo
Wassup man
Hi
I remember way back when my dad bought the first generation svga seventeen inch it came with pc and BNC video for security video system setup for the massive price of $ 1799 ( crt style monitor) ViewSonic brand. It actually works still to this day and works very nicely
Wow even processors went up high!! I bought Athlon 3000G for only PHP2600 (~USD50) back in 2020
Time for another crazy episode of “Austin Evans does stupid things”
I think i had just about each of those components in one of my Frankenstein pcs i cobbled together back in the day. Maybe not that ram exactly, but close enough.
may i make a request for you guys to just do like a practical budget pc build that makes a little sense, like $600-$1200 builds, maybe one or two can be a "editing" rig with a higher end cpu with a low end gpu or a decent apu? plz and thank you, you guys can make it entertaining im sure
I'm glad Austin can look back at the house fire and joke about it a bit. That was a rough video when it happened.
That tiny screen reminds me of the screens of digital cash registers.
loved the collab with donut
Everyone is on here talking about pcs, but no one has talked about Austin’s “Leonhart’s 90’s Pop Shop” shirt. Respect
That is one hardcore gaming setup
1:20 Hey, I've seen that before!! It's from a Boeing plane behind the seats in Economy class
6:08 stealing Jared from micro center is one of the best things y’all have done that guys hilarious lol
Matt has the clip of Austin’s house fire permanently imported 😂
Need a thrift store or pawn shop or yard sale build
Could you investigate the absolutely best PPD build with new parts? Maybe current gen as well?
In this case, you should just assume someone building even a budget PC has a tv with hdmi. Then you would’ve saved the money you spent on that goofy monitor and been able to possibly afford a better part somewhere else.
I love that donut media shirt! MO POWA BABEH!!!!
3:10
At this point, Austin's house on fire is a meme.
It’s great that its in a box. You can just carry it out to the trash when you are done.
That case might be a fire hazard
Question, could you turn a Lenovo Yoga AIO into a gaming pc? Essentially deleting the OS of the Lenovo and running everything from the gaming pc, while still having the touch screen.
Nice Leonhart shirt! Hope the pop up shop was fun 🙏
9:50 "Sorry we wont cut that out" -Editors
Pretty much the same when you buy a copy of Windows for the desk top to make it actually run and the non sale price of the laptop.
I hope this message reaches you bro ! I appreciate all your help on videos with tech and all the cool interests I have. I built a PC just watching you and Ken mess around and stuff. Funniest channel on UA-cam ! Keep it up bro ! 💯👾🤘🏽
me: i want a computer
mom: we have a computer at home
computer at home:
No chassis means no deal. You need a case included in the price in order to compare price and performance as well.
At this point every Austin Evans video is an unpaid ad spot for UA-camr merch. There's LTT, MKBHD, and now Donut Media lmao.
It looks like the monitor uses a camera hot shoe mounting system to mount to the stand.
Love the setup
"...all of my high quality components $315" 😂🍺
Does our motherboard have VGA? "I hope so" nobody has ever said that in 2022 until now
Yo Austin be rocking that Donut media T XD
He’s so lucky. He can finally mail his pc to his grandma’s house when your mom said you can’t bring your pc
The donut media t shirt tho🔥🔥🔥🔥
I bought an RTX 3060 and a R5 3600 and completely overlooked the importance of the motherboard and bought the same motherboard used in this build. I thought my pc was mid-range :(
Whoa that's some futuristic tech, when does it come out? Currently on 0.80ghz! When are you gonna build the cheapest pc?
im glad you compared same specs laptop 👍
You could just get used stuff at that price. I got a dell precision laptop with a 9th gen zeon and a quadro t1000 which is about equal to a 1060 for $350 on marketplace
I was suprised to see literary the same laptop i own in this video!
Haha! That Logitech keyboard and mouse were my first ever keyboard and mouse (connected to laptop)
this is unironically still better than my all-in-one Pc that I use for playing Minecraft at 20 fps
Usually the absolute cheapest is not the best value. Sometimes you gonna spend a bit more to get ALOT more. By changing to a 3200G, dual channel ram will double the graphics score. When it comes to cases pick up a cheap kitchen breadboard, drill and epoxy in some standoffs to screw the parts into and you got a PRO GRADE bench table!
when will u do the 2022 gaming pc tutorial
You can also overclock athlon integrated graphics, not sure if you can with the a320 though
im so long waithing for a new tech vedio i love your guys vedio always with u guys
This is the true meaning of Amazon *Basics*

Love the Leonhart shirt!
Is there going to be a "How to build a gaming pc in 2022?" If so let us know, I'm still learning how to build a pc and I have been relying on this channel! ◇
You should make a spinner that decides which company makes the parts in your computer!
viewing angles are like that cos your panel is upside down
3:13 casual day just using my pc
Not Jared wearing the ShortCircuit shirt on an Austin Evans video
My high school uses that keyboard and mouse, so if that doesn't tell you to not get that keyboard and mouse combo for gaming idk what will.
if you come off amazon for your monitor you can get a dual monitor setup for $100, 22-inches each
yup i think my suspicions are true of that ssd doesnt have a dram cache and this is why you spend the extra like 20 bucks to get an ssd with a dram cache
Best Buy had some Msi curved monitors for like 150$ last week
Put dual channel memory into that AMD system and which that GPU score jump a good percent higher. AKA single channel memory is bringing it down a ton
