York Walls II

From the Red Tower (Foss Islands Road) to the Skeldergate bridge.
This includes Walmgate Bar - the most complete with its barbican. Detour down the Hull Road to St Lawrence church and its 12th century tower. Additional detour down Fishergate. The wall ends at Fishergate Postern Tower.
The second section continues over the river Foss (also see its confluence with the Ouse). Then around the Eye of York (Clifford's Tower and Castle Museum area) to finish at Skeldergate bridge over the Ouse.
