I think this lady knows what she’s doing!? Different people have different budgets. I agree that more hair should have been added, and so does the stylist.. but not everyone can afford 200g of hair. The end result was really pretty for a simple cheap way of wanting to keep up with fashion. Also blending technique was good to..

When you curl it it all blends in.. when it's straight you can notice the difference big time.
Yes ikr no matter how much hair they add and when they add too much it gets heavy so ig if someone like me had thick hair we must curl them
I do hair extensions & people with short thick hair should be able to wear it straight too. You have not used enough hair to match they thickness of your clients then tried to make an excuse to cover it up🙈 as a hairdresser this annoys me to see this 🙁
+Nikkole Macdonald we didn't want to add more so she wasn't stuck with so much hair to deal with. She is fine with the amount we used, and we don't want to cut her hair so it will grow out. We all do things different, just because you add more hair doesn't mean my method with this one client is wrong or covering up anything.
There is one way of doing hair extensions and that the right way...her hair doesn't even blend well when curled. Also if the client isn't willing to have in the right amount of hair extensions she needs in order to blend and look natural then she should look at temporary options like clip-ins as they require a lot of maintenance whether you added the correct amount or not. You have to be honest with your clients they didn't go to hair school so they will believe what you tell them. This is an set.
Nikkole Macdonald like girl. I have shorter hair with extensions and I straighten my hair and you can't tell 😑i feel like she got crappy clip in extensions and just did it to make this video. At least that is what I hope.

I firmly agree and being ive been doing hair extensions for so long especially on short hair there was no blending and not enough hair was used in my opinion!

I think it looks OK but I doubt a client would want 50% of her natural hair sticking up at the back and not blended 😂 looks great curled but straight? Hell no!

You should of put more at the top i do extensions 24/7 on short hair and thats why you're having the blending issue because you didnt use Enough hair!:)
If you read the comments you would see that my client couldn't afford more hair, so this is how we did it this time ;)

If the client wanted it this way you wouldnt make an educational video with “proffesional advice” if it looks worse then when you normally do it.

Why is the tape not colored? Platinum blonde against dark brown, yikes...
that’s not her fault the dye doesn’t stick to the track. clearly those extensions aren’t new so they were the original stock color and she dyed them to match her client

I really love this video. Ive watched it so many times and bought my own razor comb and waiting for my extensions! I am so excited!
If you want tips for clip ins, its good to use no smaller than 140 grams weight hair extensions for thin hair and thick would be 160grams to 180 grams. Ive used 180 and they were way too thick but the 160 is my favorite. Make sure its Remy Human hair.
And to layer you dont exactly need a razor comb. Its easy to blend and layer by pulling the extension and the natural hair away from the head and go 1 to 2 inches down from your natural and trim the extensions from there in your whole head section by section. 😉

Cuando tienen mucho cabello y contamos con pocas extensiones, lo más recomendable es aplicar lo más arriba posible, sin que se note, luego pocas en medio y abajo poner dos líneas ju tas para que la punta no quede tan escasa. A mi gusto y experiencia, la colocación en este video debió ser más arriba para evitar que se notara tanto su cebello

Brilliant! I love this. I got tape ins years ago and when the hairdresser cut it, she did it quite blunt and I hated it. Wish she used a razor. I had quite thick extensions too so she could have blended it better. I was so disappointed. I ended up trying to blend it myself and did an ok job, but it wouldn't have been straight and perfect like this. I should have gone elsewhere. When they grew out I just removed them and thought "Argh, just not worth it"

Could you make a video on how to put extentions more towards the top of the head for highlights? I have long black hair and wantes green highlights. But I can't seem to blend them in to look natural! Its so hard. I dont want to cut or dye my hair again. And the hair I bought is real hair. Help!!!

The outcome looked really beautiful! I do think maybe a few more strands of hair could have made the blend at the top a little better but I liked the cut and how it blended!

What is your method for custom coloring tape in extensions? Do you take the tape off, color them then put new tapes on before applying? Or leave the tape on and just try to stay off the tape?

Everyone's saying how bad of a job she's done. But tbh, if you added any more extensions at the top, you'd be able to see the tapes (obviously depending on the situation). And tbh if the client is happy that's all that really matters at the end of the day.
