My pine lined eve had a hole rotted through it caused by a long term leak in the colorbond roof. To find the leak I put a torch into the hole after sunset and got onto the roof. A clip nail about 30 cm from the hole had popped and the light from the torch could be clearly seen coming through the nail hole. I have sealed it with roofing silicon.

Hi mate, just wondering if you would consider doing an instructional on roll top ridge and hip mitres and how to correctly mark, cut, and finnish them? You seem like a bit of a guru, and im wanting to diy my parents roof. I can do everything but the ridge caps as i used to do some roofing restorations when i was younger, but was never properly trained on the cappings. I would be more than happy to pay for an instructional.
