Karan is kind of hated for bekng the ellen degenres figure in India-at this pt, his sexuality isnt a big thing about him. He supports nepotism and has a very detached attitude towards criticisms levied on that basis. And obv his films are blown up melodramas that people have come to dislike.
Stop telling them lies. How is Karan like Ellen Degeneres. It’s HIS MONEY that he could lose, so whom should he take a chance on, some kid off a bus whose personality and family he does not now and don’t know if they can fit in with a more elite group of people and different atmosphere/circumstances than they’re accustomed to and if they come with hidden mental problems (Kangana, Deepija, Priyanka, Aishwarya) and will cause all kinds of chaos on his sets with hostility and inability to get along and people not feeling comfortable and could possibly ruin the movie from the get-go. ...OR....a kid he knows who grew up in front of him, calls him uncle, friends with the parents and feels safe having the kid on his set for all the aforementioned reasons??? When your dads do that, then you can ask Karan to. People expect Karen to stand at the gates of Bwood and welcome everyone with open arms and a kiss and tell them he’ll make them famous and wealthy???. That’s what all these uneducated people expect of him. He’s not their uncle or their father and if their parent did not shed a sweat or a tear or a penny to build Bwood, then outsiders should shut up and get to the back of the line behind the kids whose parents EARNED opportunities for them.
