Hi Ben, you can simply stab the rapid/quickstop into the hole, there's enough friction to hold it or pull a band through with a hooked baiting needle - either way presents better than external banding IMO. I'm a big fan of these pellets, also of Meat with a generous coating of "Chinese 5 spice" powder, then slightly dampened.
Thank you 👍🏻 it’s a Nash one although not sure I’d recommend it, it’s not the most sturdy of things unless you can get it firmly pushed into the ground in which case you might as well be using bank sticks!
i found a bag of 15mm drilled robin red pellets and thought id give em a blast and smashed 7 out in an afternoon, i used to use them loads when i used to method fish and got distracted by all the fancy hookbaits bit might go back if i keep getting bites hahaha
Fish did seem to love them as a hook bait or was it just a busy day on the bank. Tomorrow I’m just using corn and liquidised bread so will see how that goes!
You will learn more as time goes by. Im in my 70s and started fishing at age 13. Still learning, but i keep it simple😊
I started in my teens but only got back into it last year, wish I’d stuck at it. A lot has changed and some is still the same!

I've been using the 2mm on the method feeder mixed 50/50 with ringers 2mm. They then break down well.
Good idea, I’ll mix them in with some other pellets too
I've been using robin red for years and it's great used all size pellets and boilies too really good on the method
What rod pod are you using Ben, great videos btw

@boiliebencarpfishing ok thanks for the info Ben
I’ve been using the robin red 12mm hard pellets, pre drilled on a quick stop rig, carp love em
And apparently so do bream 😂

I’ve had a mirror do that to me once!, feisty buggers
Definitely meat based 👍
I've always had to re drill if I had to use quick stops
I won’t bother using those pellets on the method though, not great are they 😕
Not the best, was a bit disappointed, plenty better out there
They work where fish eat them put it that way , try using them a single bait no bait over the top . Not the best
Certainly had a lot of action with them, bream love them too 😂
@@boiliebencarpfishing yeah lol bream 🥴
