How lucky are we that KEXP can get us this content. I can't count how many bands I have discovered, or come to appreciate more because of these videos.
Sid Straub couldn't agree more
Been listening to this song for a decade.
Can't get enough of this piece.
They're so underrated.
This song is so nostalgic to me. 2008
GOD DAMMIT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VERSION IM DECEASED
This song will always be one of my all-time favs...
These guys are just perfect
Luckily, one Saturday morning I strolled out of bed to have some coffee and happened to catch Blind Pilot on CBS Saturday Morning playing "Umpqua Rushing" and instantly loved them. This was about a year ago and I can't stop listening to all their music now!
We been going to astoria for years and I can't believe I've never heard about this freakin good band....their music is just darn great and comforting...luv luv luv...hope they do many more concerts!
They're playing our song
They're playing our song
Can you see the light?
Can you hear the hum?
Of our song
I hope they get it right
I hope we dance tonight
Before we get it wrong
And the seasons
Will change us new, but you're the best I've known
And you know me, I could not not be stuck on you
If it weren't true
I was swimming
My eyes were dark 'til you woke me
And told me that opening is just the start
It was
Now I see you 'til kingdom come you're the one I want
To see me for all the stupid shit I've done
Soil and six feet under
Kept just like we were
Before you knew you'd know me
And you know me
Blooming up from the ground
Three rounds and a sound
Like whispering, "you know me
You know me"
So this was our song
This was our song
I still see the light
I can see them
And the criss cross
Of what is true won't get to us
'Cause you know me, I could not give up on you
And the fog of what is right
Won't cover us 'cause you know me
I could not give up a fight
Soil and six feet under (criss cross, of what is true won't get to us)
Kept just like we were ('cause you know me, I could not give up on you)
Before you knew you'd know me (wouldn't feel true)
And you know me
Blooming up from the ground (the fog of what is right won't cover us)
Three rounds and a sound ('cause you know me, I could not give up a fight)
Like whispering, "you know me (wouldn't feel right)
You knw me
This song is just amazing, this band is just amazing. Has been one of my favorites for a few years now, never gets old.
