Absolutely. Not to mention that this is the smartest advertising Cheesecake Factory could have done. I haven't thought of TCF for YEARS and now I desperately want to eat there again. I'm so hungry watching this video and it's not even the last one.

To be fair, he is 1000% correct. The chewable Lactaids are the worst. Made that mistake once, never again
It's only bad if they're vanilla flavored and you're eating something cheesy with it. I usually take those kind with a couple m&Ms or something, then go eat whatever savory dairy thing I was intending to eat.

i feel like THEY should pace him better like less plates of food per video knowing hes going to go HARD on each plate. its impressive but it does get to a point where its a bit uncomfprtable to watch him so damnn uncomfortable in his own body/being in genuine pain and discomfort just because of how fulllll he is. ik ik his body. his life, he isnt being forced, its just a light hearted video, were all just strangers on the internet, sure but i would much rather see multiple parts of Keith trying the menu on different days than the current way they are doing eat the menu. no hate btw!! just expressing my opinion/concern ig

As a person who is completely uninitiated to the Cheesecake Factory, I don't understand how this hour-long video got all the way into the burgers and there are still [checks notes] TWO MORE VIDEOS to go??
The Cheesecake Factory's menus is about ten pages long. (I'm not kidding. I didn't account for some possible overlap, but it's got about 300 items on it. Without drinks).
the cheesecakes alone take up 3-4 pages.

I think they are ending it, mainly due to Keith’s health and he’s a dad now :) but I’m like 90% sure. So who knows!
I think the regular episodes are ending. I’m sure he’ll do one here and there but the series itself is done.

to be fair theyre all for like three to four people to share
we don't ever go there like alone or even for dates. it's usually for birthday dinners, family gatherings, etc. these plates are meant for a lot of people

Is it super expensive? To have that large of a menu, and it seems higher quality presentation etc they must have a HUGE kitchen staff or is there always a line/waitlist because the food takes forever?
@eatingketchupchips9567 it's not the most affordable restaurant. And it's just like any other place, there are days where they are faster than others.

A Cheesecake Factory just opened in my city in China and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a restaurant opening.
Their food is so good! I recommend the Pasta Da Vinci (if the one that opened in your city has it on the menu).

@@hikurangi1879 we are! I’ve been to the one in Shanghai and it was exactly like the ones from the States but I think a few less menu items. Be prepared for American prices and portions though 😳
The steak Diane was AMAZING. Polish it off with the red velvet cheesecake. I cannot describe how much I love Cheesecake Factory and how sad I am I only ate there once before
Doesn’t Gordon Ramsey hate restaurants with this big of menus?? I’m honestly shocked at the menu variety and how good everything has been so far.
All chefs hate restaurants with big menus, usually the food sucks but it's also performative solidarity. They want small menus to be the norm so chefs and line cooks can have a tiny bit less stress in their lives.

no you're absoutely correct, my brother is a head chef at a 4 star, their menu fits onto one sheet & they have chef specials- that's the extent because its just sooo much of a hassle to have such a large menu and to keep it consistent is hard.

Keith, you can make flour from acorns (it's used in some native californian tribes' food), but you have to wash the flour before cooking it. The water removes a cyanide compound from the flour to make it edible. Random factoid for you 😊
koreans also make a jelly dish out of acorns too 😊 acorn love from across the world
Tannins can also poison humans in large amounts, which is why you have to soak acorns to leech out enough tannins before consuming them in any way.

Watching Eat The Menu has always made me want food more than any food commercial on television. I have never craved cheesecake factory before in my life

I’m sure you gathered this but Cheesecake Factory is famous for having the most extensive and varied menu of any similar chain restaurant. It’s truly a mystery how the kitchen is able to turn out 250 unique menu items. They’re also infamous for making some of the largest and most caloric menu items!
They have kind of an epic like 50 page menu
It has 250 items, but I get one thing from there ever. It’s so overwhelming.
I'm Canadian and thought the same thing. I thought Cheesecake Factory was just known for its large cheesecake selection. I had no idea they served real food as well.
Even more confusing is the amount of menu items that aren't cheesecake. Like, im most of the way through this and the only cheesecake they've eaten wasn't made at the restaurant.

As a former Cheesecake Factory employee, I can confirm that outside of like the cheesecakes (which are reasonably frozen), everything else is made fresh to order. Stuff that’s wrapped (like the egg rolls or buffalo blasts) are prepped earlier, but cooked to order.
Also, while yes those salads are massive, the plates are just genuinely heavy 😂
Also also, I never came anywhere close to trying everything on the menu, I’m not sure if any of my coworkers had outside of the ones who had been there for an obscene amount of time maybe. So godspeed Keith! Lmao, almost everything is legitimately pretty good though

I know this is a controversial take: I personally have always shared my food, like after taking a bite. and watching everyone share condiments, double dipping and feeding keith after they took a bite- its so nice, like i don't see it as nasty but I see it as everyone is already just so damn comfortable with each other there's no personal boundary. I think that's something I love about keith is how much everyone just loves him and wants to be in his presence just lets me know how good of a guy he truly is.

i know im a nerd but it was so curious how marissa said she is allergic to crab but she was able to eat the shrimp ? that is so interesting ! i didnt know you could be allergic to individual shellfish, i thought if you had a shellfish allergy it was all off the table 🤣
Depends on the person. Some people with shellfish allergies are only allergic to one type, like just crab. Others are allergic to all crustaceans or all mollusks. Some are allergic to both crustaceans and mollusks.
Immune systems are weird, huh?
Can confirm. I randomly became allergic to shrimp in the 7th grade after eating it literally all the time but I was still able to eat crab and lobster. Unfortunately now I’m equally allergic to crab and lobster because my body hates me so I’m stuck with mollusk shellfish for whoever knows how long 😂
I've got a shellfish allergy, for example i can't have crab, lobster, shrimp, but oysters and mussels came back very low on the chart, so i can eat them, same with tuna and all normal fish. It is all different according to the person

I got my blood drawn recently and the results were different from when I was younger. I used to be deathly allergic to all shellfish but my mussels and oyster allergy faded over time. I highly suggest getting a blood and skin test done, and if anything comes back low or negative you should try having the food in the doctors office as long as they approve. That's what I did and it was the best decision, i ended up getting to try a new food.@@WarrenCoFilms

The last time I had a burger at Cheesecake Factory it was *awful* so they really pulled out all the stops for you guys! Not having to also cook for a full restaurant probably helped too!

Okay... I worked at a Korean-American cafe in Baltimore City that serves a dish that is essentially a brulee'd cheesecake with a chocolate crust, and it's called the Damn Good Pie, so Alex's whole segment with the creme brulee cheesecake and Keith calling it Damn Good is really sending me.
I'm not asking you to dox yourself but I go to Baltimore semi-regularly and I REALLY wanna try that 👀
I also go to Baltimore City regularly and would really love to know what restaurant this, it sounds delicious

As a former server at the Cheesecake Factory, I've been WAITING for this moment, ever since Keith first started eating the menu! And honestly, yes, all the food is really good, but I agree with Keith the portions are way too big, but you certainly get your money worth from it.
It’s a good restaurant to share a plate if on a budget but want to eat out.

Nothing with a menu that long can be really good. It can be okay and consistent, but the only thing memorable or interesting about it is the conversations you have with the friends and family you go with. Which is fine! But it's not much different from a Black Bear Diner or a Chilis, or any other mid level family chain. Maybe the menu has gotten better, or it's a location thing, but every time I've gone it's just not been great.

Being gluten free, Cheesecake Factory is the only place I’ve been able to find a full course meal that won’t kill me and will most likely leave leftovers that don’t taste like dookie!

13:30 - I once went to a work dinner at a gastro pub and nobody told us that the bread wasn't free (and also quite expensive for the small pieces given per serving, something like $3 for a roll) and everyone kept ordering more of it because we had dishes like bone marrow. Our front desk manager had a conniption when the bills came and we ended up getting it for free.
