Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
I bought some bates before crappie season in Ohio and I smacked them with the little jigs and plastics they work for open water to I love the company since there American based even know the product they have aren’t all in America but you get the best quality for the price you pay and you guys know you have things to fix on your rods and that’s another reason why I love it and that they slay bluegill and crappie in any weather open water or on the ice no Mayer what they will catch you fish
Finally. A company that could admit to flaws in their own designs while striving to put out the best products and information. Need more guys like you two in the industry!
Great stuff gents, little late in getting to know your babies, just curious since the video aired, has the reel-seat glitch been adressed? Thanks & kudos from Southwesterc QC
If I had to choose between the royal flush and panastick which would be better is the panastick a lot little then the royal flush, going for panfish and maybe bass is what I want.
Very nicely done. Always sucks finding out stuff after development and ordering like the reel seat. You live and learn. Good job going for it and building your own. Look forward to seeing the future of Frostbite.
What a concept....a direct to customer company with affordable ,good no frills setup. I am ordering the 37ml smokeshow for walleye fishing here on Saginaw Bay....but yes I want a 19l for site fishing my pans. Thanks guys and best of luck with future endeavors
This is how to do product advertising. Watch most fishing company product videos and they get some celebrity fisherman to read a script that says how new and exciting the product is, but tells you nothing about it, while some Metal music blares over everything, and the pictures flash like you're inside a disco. At the end of the video the viewer really has no info about the product other than it's on the market... and if you act now Ginzu will throw in a set of steak knives for only $19.95. Sound familiar? You guys do it right. You tell us what the product is. What it's used for. Product details and features are pointed out. Price points are mentioned. At the end of the video I have knowledge of your products and thus why I might want to buy them. Well done. I wish the big companies would take a lesson from this.
Two good guys passionate about fishing keeping anglers entertained and informed for years... and they're bringing us more! Aaron's time and experience put into thoughtfully designing new tools for our trade, a bonus for everyone. Support 'em if you like, if you can, because they've already given plenty and will surely just keep bringing us more. Rods and lures looking great!!!
Can you jig a 1/4 oz. lure on the Dipstick? Or would that be too heavy? I got a great recommendation on your rods, and I want one bad, that I could jig walleyes and panfish on, and the largest I'd go with a lure would be 1/4 oz. Let me know @Fish Frostbite!
Aarons the man ! KEEP GOING!!! Your knowledge PASSION and expertise are OBV ...the details in the these product shows this. Wish you luck in this endeavor !!!!
TSniper79 idk man, some shit is happening over there @ Frostbite lol. I ordered some rods last week, no email reply back, or expected ETA. I don’t think they have the rods I ordered in stock, checked tracking # and it’s not even in transit. I think they made the Medallion Recoils available for purchase but didn’t have any in stock...if you got a Burnt series, I’m sure you’ll get yours soon.
This is going to seem, weird but can I still buy say a royal flush with the messed up handle. I didn't buy one and now I want to add a flawed frostbite to my collection .
You guys are awesome I’ll for sure order more rods from you guys order one this year came broken and you guys got me a new one right away awesome thank you
It's awesome that you guys are up-front about your products. That's rare in companies. Look forward to trying out these awesome looking rods! Great names too btw.
Ordered loads of lures and jigs. Thanks for those sweet colors dan on the jigs. Would really love to get a grey frostbite hoodie but their sold out when is the restock. You guys are amazing.
Would love to see individual videos for each rod. Not just fishing but preferred setup like reel type/size, line preferences an so on. I know it always changes but it's nice to have a starting point. For instance, I just picked up the Royal Flush for an upcoming perch trip. Having never used a longer rod, it would be nice to have a starting point for a setup.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors them big Manitoba northern aren't gonna know what hit em! Hoping to get out and find some Lakers this winter. That's the plan anyways.

Why dont you come out on some of the home waters Peric we will go do some sight fishing on the chain o lakes! see why we have dozens of those little rods
I'll take a free 19 inch rod and I'll catch big bass threw the ice with it ......... another youtuber ordered your baits he did u a good review... go check out JCDROPSHOT review on the frost bite lures and plastics
i think 19" is a little short for anything i do, i would be interested in a 22" ul glass rod for cisco, smelt and small whitefish. 22" HT ice blues has been my go to for that. i tried the clam meat stick and a few other more expencive pan fish rods and still keep buying the cheap 22 ul HT iceblues. i like it.
Nice rundown on these beauties. I think I know the answer....but...what do you think of using the dipstick for whitefish? The soft flex that keeps line tight is appealing, but does it have enough backbone for big whities?
i would like 19 inch rod for fishing in a shelter, i have a couple 18" HT ice blues rods that i use as dead rods so i can make the best use of a relatively small space, especially because i tend to set up a cot and sleep on the ice. that little bit of extra room really does make a difference in my admittedly small shack. (hoping to get a bigger one this year). sight fishing is fun, but most of the places i fish, it's just not feasible. that said, i've also found that the kids and novice anglers i take out on the ice have an easier time handling the smaller rods. not sure why, but i've noticed that they land more fish (rather than losing them at the hole) and incur fewer tangles with the shorter rod.
*I like the way it feels **enjoyable.fishing** recommend and cast, time will tell I only used it once but it seems to work well....*

You guys should make a casting ice rod and open water rod👍
Drop more rods pls
Stoked to see the future of frostbite. The transparency on how you boys are handling everything is great. Keep this energy and the success will come!
So glad I sold all my fb rods, they were decent when I had them just grew out of the hype. Ap don't care about fb haha
38m vs 43h pike? And I also cannot decide between the 38m to also use for rainbows, or the 37ml. Thanks
Super pumped for you boys. Love the passion and excitement. Keep'er coming... PS Just bought a Mr Big.

picked up a bunt series medium action. gonna be my go to set up on the i fish pro, thanks frostbite crew!!!!
19” rod is fabulous in a “sit inside” kayak during no ice seasons
No Dellabay but looks legit
I am going to buy a few of these based on the Honesty factor in this video. Great job guys.
Is the panastick a noodle rod ?
There still out of stock
Boys if I pre order a burnt rod when will I get it
love the transparency, definitely gonna try some stuff when it is not sold out anymore!

@uncutangling what rod would you recommend for a jaw jacker????
Ha ha the 19 inch rod. Alex must be used to small things lol. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hey Erin make some sort of extention for the reel foot and give it with the rods something plastic sure it wouldnt cost that much
I got some Dinnerbell lures and they are very inexpensive, but I would happily pay twice the amount of they were made in the USA. Or at least Canada.

Love to give ice fishing some day, great video.
I use a palm rod all the time so a 19" rod would be fun. I might have to get one

Nice work guys!
Just ordered a smokeshow and a dipstick! To excited
Good work FrostBite, this was great content and a step in the right direction.
Just ordered 2 rods! I'm pumped. Great work guys!
A 19 would be slick for sight fishing herring and whitefish..
can't wait to try one! its great to see your transparancy

I don't care what anyone says......19" is big......right?.....
" We really don't know what's going on" Pretty much sums up these rods.
My Go-To rod is actually a 9" Marmish Palm Rod. No worries fighting 33" pike on it.

Kind of wish these had bigger guides towards the rod tip. looking for something that won't freeze up outside the shack in Manitoba.
You boys going to be at the ice fishing show in the cities early December?

A little friction tape and a beer will make a reel fit where you want it to.
Loved this video. Great info!
Just got myself a Dipstick! this will be my first year ice fishing so we will see how it goes.
Just put tape around both the reel legs then tighten in the seat. No big deal
