I was pleasantly surprised when I ran into one of your newer videos the other day. Happy to see you back and I just re-subscribed. As a tall guy, I enjoy your videos because you always end up getting the bikes that I like (Husky 701, Tenere, PR7) and I get to live vicariously through your videos.
Good Baltics TET. I can see the places from your video where I was 3 years ago. Fun memories, I did it all by myself LT LV EST. Now I will fly to Novergia in a few weeks.
Another absolutely awesome video Johannes I got another look at the T7 today an really fell in love 🥰 certainly going to be my next Adventure Motorcycle an my dad's looking at the new Honda Transalp or T7 bit different from the Ktms we were looking at. Thanks for sharing the video 👌👍
Guess I need to add another area to the bucket list, looks like that was an amazing trip. I agree with living off the local economy. Definitely tastes better than freeze dried.
I won't be heading to Europe anytime soon 🤣 But I am going to start riding adventure tacks around New England here in the US. Your greater skill level on this upcoming Baltic TET is going to make it an even better experience than the first run.
Let me know when and I'll join you! I've actually been thinking about reaching out, would love to have you show me some parts of south Africa. Currently re-reading the motorcycle travel books by Sam Manicom, he just rode though Africa. Makes my travel boots itch like crazy!
Niiice to hear from you Johannes. Looks like you have visited my hometowns local trails :D I live in City- Ventspils, I am sure you was there if following the TeT from the south. More to the north following the river - Irbe is these big sandy trails. Didnt you see 1 guy passing you guys there on DRZ? :D I was out for a ride 1day and saw 2 guys fighting for life in this crazy sand ponds :D Unfortunatly i didnt stop... And ask how are they doing. Went kinda in "Racing mode"" :D
Hey Janis! If I saw a DRZ I'm sure I'd remember - I was probably too focused on not crashing in the sand 😅 You have a fantastic network of trails just outside your door, lucky you!
Pity I can’t turn back time about 30 years, then I would add it to my bucket list. 😂😂😂 As it is I am just happy to see another sunrise, preferably one without rain clouds, I still need to take my DRZ for a good run, it’s been either too hot or too wet, and they call that summer, HA. By the way the DRZ is a great little bike for an old bloke like me, bit buzzy on the road at 100 Kph but bearable.
I didn't know you had a DRZ, Bill, a bike you recently acquired? I miss my DRZ to be honest, it was so simple, and surprisingly capable! Hope all is well old friend :)
Sounds awesome! We are doing the Balkan countries this year, but I don't think we'll make it as far east as Romania. I'll put that on my list of places to ride!
Did I get it right? The TET track that is in middle of Estonia is more difficult? Or only part of it? I'm planning to go to Estonia TET next summer and I'm riding alone. My husband will drive support car so I have light bike to ride but he (probably) wont be riding with me. I'm trying to figure out nice parts with some difficulty but avoid those that are not doable alone (deep mud, swamp, too dangerous etc). I'm riding Honda CRF300L and I do ride some enduro with it. But I'm no expert by any means :D
Correct, based on what I've heard, the center strip in Estonia called "Jokers lane" or "central route" is supposed to be difficult. Remember to ride on the islands, it's amazing. Oh, and remember to have fun, Johanna! Ride safe :)
@@JohannesDalen Thanks! Info like this truly helps make better route plans. Islands are probably first destination on our list but then I would like to see Pärnu area and south from there. Central route was my first plan to head back north but maybe I have to adjust my plans. Riding safe and having fun is my prio 1.
Let me know how it is, I want to go there sometime in the future! I don't think we'll do Skog this year actually, we're talking about doing something different. I'd love to go to Skog again though. Are you going?
Godt å høre! I sommer blir det nok Balkan, og ikke Baltikum, men vi har ikke spikret det enda, så vi får se. Jeg kjører gjerne Baltikum en gang til, må jo teste "Joker line"!
What was your point to choose Tenere 700 over KTM 890 or Husqvarna 901? As before you were fan of husky, why not to continue with a bit bigger and heavier, but more powerful version too.
Simply came down to cost at the time I bought the T7, the 890/901 was much more expensive. The 890adv r is a bike I have a soft spot for, would love one. Perhaps one day?
I like the quality of this new Canon camera, but it does a way too good job of showing my thinning hair line! Oh well 😂
Don't worry, it will eventually happen to all of us.

Thank You for advocation for Baltics . Indeed its a last frontier besides scandinavia where you can camp more less anywhere . thanks
Great video, Johannes! Nice to have you back. Take care! 😀
Thank you my friend, appreciate the support!

0:27 ahah, this is actually a great lifehack, I'll try it next ride, thanks

Most definitely - the Baltics is paradise for us adventure riders!
I was waiting for Rasmus’ little manual / wheelie 😜😎👌🏻 Hopefully I will go to the Baltics in May.
Grym video Johannes och en fin beskrivning av hur man bäst gör the Baltics. Snyggt paketerat. 👍✊️✊️
Tack :)
The last few sentences are so powerful. I like❤
You got it my friend! :)
Thanks Johannes - great video.
careful now... more videos like this and you'll become a 'proper' UA-camr! Good job with voice over and b-roll stuff. top notch
Great video! Cheers from 🇺🇸
Thanks - cheers my friend!

We're doing Balkans this year, almost same name as "Baltikum" :D
Greater skill and a more capable bike will make for more fun!
@@JohannesDalen ... I'm look forward to the video.
Haha, I will make a video for you about the maps! Sorry buddy. Baltics looks awesome and tricky
Haha, that would be awesome, I'm sure lots of other people would be interested in that too!
Baltics is amazing, can't wait to go back!
Definitely want to do the TET baltics now :)

regarding camping, if a tree falls and nobody saw it - well you know the rest ;-)

@@JohannesDalen I traded my T7 for the DRZ, 80 Kg makes a big difference. 😂😂😂
Oh dude) Just visit Romania or Greece. Those are very nice TETs. Especeilly Romania, it is by far the most challenging IMO TET track.

Sexy dude on the thumbnail 😅
And yes, the hair needs to go 😮
Great video as always 🔥
