The reason the Tekken scene isn't as big in the Philippines is because of the barrier of entry, PH is a developing country and in Tekken you'd need a console that costs more than a single minimum wage (i think 2) and a PC that lasts like 2-5 of them, not to mention the game costs 70 dollars minimum to play online as well, this is also the reason why mobile eSports thrive here (MLBB, CODM) although along with valorant though that is very easy to run on PC. Thank God for the modding scene of T6's PSP port because they are at least bringing some Tekken 8 (and even 7 then) stuff and movesets for some characters to give such players like MYSELF the opportunity to at least lab it despite inaccuracies. @@paradiseb5950 well, that's happens in every competitive games and if you are playing competitive game then you will want to have as much advantage as you can get. Yeah there is a personal preference but that happens overtime when you have your time with the game and fully understand it, this is not some friendly match , this is competition.
most of the people do this to understand what is good for them , and you should not be ashamed of and don't mock any player for doing this they literally have so much pressure on them
Nice to finally see a fellow Filipino win Tekken tournament 😮.
Grand Finals was great but the real greatness was Winners Finals
ws1 is a counter hit that can give you, even in tekken 7 already, f2, 3 guaranteed. in tekken 8
you do different options. here he did b1, 2 to wallsplat and then do a combo.
Arslan can wait for the next time he says he's going to win another tournament
I also want Tekken 8 to have an arcade release for this sake
Counterpoint though: Pakistan's Tekken scene
Congrats to AK from Pakistan!
Combo Breaker for T8 slapped. Dunno why these nerds are saying T7 is still better.
Simple. Safe armor heat engagers, guard breaks, low heat samshers, throw spam. That's why
What I love about Arslan when he first won is he does some sick combos and great punishes. T7 is such a battle of neutrals that when combos go, it makes the crowd alive. Now T8 is such a combo fiesta. Its so much more entertaining. Look at AK pulling those combos where expert says are real hard to pull off mechanically. Its great to see t8.
@@saltylemonz258 Guess people are forgetting Akuma and his combos
@@ST-pq4dx So in other words, T8 is more aggressive. It's a fighting game, aggression should be at the forefront.
Np arsalan better luck nxt time...... Its just the new meta and its been only 4 month so its too early for any OG Keep working harder....
its a rematch of the evo grandfinals when arshlan debut
Not just some random og dude
That wasn't a Tea Bag, it was his sneak step. I get accused of this all time playing as Shaheen
Congrats AK! 🇵🇭
That’s why i like my character shaheen cause it’s a challenge and he got a lot of sick combos and hard to do them. Kudos to Ak a top shaheen player. Those are combos i never saw.
AK... salamat sa pagrerep ng Pinas!! LABAN PH
I couldn't belive this was in my city and didn't go.
I think AK means Azure Knight.I think AL played dekaron and he probably plays the character Azure Knight on that game. Why? lookk at Tekken tag Laws costume is a Knught.
wish mainman focused on screen at 1:58
sick escape by AK
What a crazy set he makes Shaheen looks crazy
Congrats AK 🎉
JOKA did play kazuya at baaz tbf
Got the story wrong. Person didn't say it on twitter. They said it in person and Murray tweeted it
Honestly I'm so fucking happy ak won. So many times he came close to winning. He really has a sick style
Ak deserved it. Congrats to him for doing so great against these god players.
Wish titan thor joins a tournament like this
Bro AKs stealth step cancels are soooo clean and fast someone has to do a guide how to cancel that quick cancel
We + 1 if it connects on counter guarantees a db+2,1 which is dangerous for the opponent...it wall splaus
Great tourney. Only down point was when hit boxes were being wacky and people slot as a result :
I think people are taking about AK alot but for arslan they removed his main character kuni and arslan started nina as his main now, in this short time arslan did very good but AK's main is shaheen.
so... are you saying he only won because his main is playable in tk8 while its the opposite for arslan..?
@@BakedConjurer5 one of the reason, and also arslan played very good in all the tournament but bad luck and Ak played good in final.
@@BakedConjurer5 if there is a kuni , then there is no chance that Ak is gona win this.
@@shakeelali9418 arslan only play kuni due to her being top tier and he even said he would have played nina if shes top tier due to being arslan favorite character
@@mizukumecasko1216 its not only the charcter its also about the player, if kuni is top tier and arslan play and win with it why nobi can't win 4 evo's combo breaker etc, its about the player and character both.
One thing about Tasty Steve is he is gonna let you know if the song is a banger. Our 🐐
Rooting for AK since his eyemusician fight in the Phillipines
From losing to Arslan in evo japan to beating him at cokbo breaker so many years later. You cant write this shit
