As many of you now know, Hurricane Milton is now a category 5 that's expected to make a direct hit to the Tampa Bay/Sarasota area with 150 mph plus wind speeds. Additionally Milton is threatening to bring a storm surge that's double the size of the record breaking surge that Helene brought. If you're in this area, please be smart and stay safe. ==================================================================== Help me grow my other channels! Chris, you did such a great job on this vid. The way you ask questions and let the affected people talk and not put your own words in the narrative is so refreshing. Thanks for letting the people speak and be seen.
Thanks for the 4-1-1, Chris... you give us better news than the MSM for sure! Siesta Key is dear in my heart as I lived there in the 1980s. It breaks my heart to see the over-the-top growth the region has experienced, but seeing all this destruction makes me cry for those who were affected by this tragedy. I pray for them all and wish them a full recovery and return to "normal" as soon as it can be done.
Thank you so much for doing this video! I lived in southwest Florida for almost 30 years. Moved back to Michigan after Ian. I appreciate that you interviewed these people & allowed them to share their amazing testimonies! Especially now, with Milton aiming his wrath at the west coast of Florida just 2 weeks later... people need to hear these stories of hope! Praying for all who are still recovering from Helene and for all who are in Milton's path!! 🙏🙏🙏
Truly outstanding job is a must see on many levels. I went through a direct hit by Category 4 Hurricane Hugo in Chareleston SC in 1989. This presentation shows the massive scale of damage most of which comes from the storm surge including especially potential loss of life. The skillful mixture of seeing while hearing about it really drives it home unforgetably. It also brought back painful memories for me.
Hey Chris, watching from New Zealand 🇳🇿. Haven’t joined you for a long time, since back in the Detroit days, but wow, so pleased for you when I look at your followers. Good job!
@@bobcostner2238 No kidding. They gotta live somewhere and why not one of the most beautiful states. Hurricanes have struck NYC and Canada. People in the Midwest deal with tornadoes and people out west deal with wildfires and earthquakes. Nobody is immune to natural disasters.

Thanks, I work hard at it and that's what I strive for. It's very sad no doubt. This area can't handle another round with Milton. It just can't.

Come on back for round 2 this weekend 😞
How sad. Many prayers 🙏 out to the people affected by all of this.😢❤
OMG What a story!!! Dude is a survivor👍
I pray for these involved, but coastal development in Florida is often times at risk for flooding.
Haven't watched yet. Probably tomorrow when sheltered. Are you sticking around?
No I left the area late last week
@@ChrisHarden So you are safe.
oooh the sufferings of the rich.....
Completely inappropriate. People died in Florida.
