using your tactics you are not defending in 442 as your right side is not covered by anyone from midfield formation as your right striker is working as striker ,Left srtiker is back on def and your LCM is covering wing (both are on left side) so there is no player on right side. Are you sure about this tactics?

the middle CM switches with the RCM and gets pushed out to the wing, on paper yes it should work how you said but it doesn't, game doesn't like the LF and LCM occupying same spot so it moves the CM and RCM over
