From the looks of this, it looks like a young man playing this, very very well done, it's great to see young people appreciate and play Beatles. I thank you for sharing this. Once again great job.
When I was a young lad in the fities/sixties I tried to learn to play the guitar, my friends tried too but not one of us could ever dream of playing like this, he makes it look so easy and effortless, I'm dead jealous.
Unfortunately George couldn’t play this originally at normal speed and George Martin had to get him to do it at half speed and then sped it up for the record.
The Rick 12 is awesome, and I love my Rickenbackers, but if you have never seen, held, played a mid-70s Ovation 12-string Deacon, you don't know what you are missing! Wahi' Valleys
Way back when.... I use to turn the balance control of my stereo to hear only the guitar work and colorful collage of chord structures and changes to the Beatles inimitable music. Very well done here as well.
Liam Painter na dude - that's just what the modern 1990s ones look like. The 90s Japanese Casinos (which that is) had no pick guard. The ones the Beatles played (1960s) did have white pick guards. To be fair, he says in another video that he's looking for a real Beatles-era version of that guitar. Hasn't found it yet so that's the best he has
Fer Abra According to the official George Harrison guitar collection app and pictures online, George took the pickguard off of his Casino during their last world tour in 1966. It is still off of the guitar today. This means all of George's electric guitar parts on Sgt. Pepper, as well as the single Strawberry Fields Forever, were played on his pickguard-less Casino (i.e. the title track, With a Little Help From My Friends, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Getting Better, and Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise).)

Ringing like a bell...Beautiful guitar brother. George was a very underrated guitarist, particularly during this mid sixties period. Very inventive playing that lifts the songs to a new dimension. Peace...
I admire you as a beatle fan as i am myself. Thank you for your insights on lead and rhythm guitar on these favorites from the fab four. I commend you for being so young and admiring these classics from long ago and playing them with the utmost details of a skilled musician. Keep up the good work.
Os Beatles marcaram toda uma geração de jovens e adolescentes e continua fazendo fãs pelo mundo inteiro, 50 anos após o fim da banda. You call them covers but I learn more watching you than from most 'lessons.' You make the best guitar videos on the internet. Keep lit going. All BEATLES all the time. Thanks for all the hard work. Lessons? I'm in.
I'm a Rickenbacker fan since childhood. You did very well, sound was great I played to chords a bit different but with the same result, lol. Keep it up man, John Hall will be delighted that people honor and present his fabulous instruments
Sounds great!...I have a collection of 54 ... mostly Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, and Vox, but no Ric yet.... need one of those...thanks for sharing and keeping the Fab Four out front.
Perfectl! Seems like an easy song to play, but the importance of when to use the up stroke is critical... one of the best sounding interpretations of the solo too, sounds exactly like George's slowed-down-to-key. Well done Bud!
the sound of a Rickenbacker is fantastic
XD rickenbaken
Rickenbacker.....ER.
But they sound so good. That rockabilly twang.
@@jaidessa XD Richenbacher
RickenBacon, RickenBeacon, RickenBroken, all sound good.
Seriously though, great sound. You got it down.
Magic
I'm 62, and that's the way I used to play this on my Rose Morris 1997 (shown in the picture)!
Are you still alive bro?

***** Just 3 years older than my child. Great to have you here as well.
haha this guy appreciates the Beatles so much he dropped $2,800 on guitar and $1,500 on an amp to sound like them!
dedication my dude
@@jonromano2489 He definitely has his priorities set straight.
@@jonromano2489 he spended more than just that, he spent like 7000 more on anoter rickenbacker and a hofner...

You can still hop in and learn, sir. Lucky for us, the internet made the process all the more easier!
@@reggie9595 Exactly.
This song is easy. Quincy Jones said the Beatles couldn't play that well.
@@gnosticreverend6354 Quincy Jones was good at criticizing. He criticized Elvis also.
Great job!! Love the up-stroke on that one chord.
Excellent......really enjoyed that. Love the 'jangly' sound of the Rickenbacker.
straight up
So beautiful :)
Great sound but what do you mean with dangly
@@sean6992 It has a bright, distinctive sound. Jangly like a bell.
They were 4 gifted musicians; the best at their craft
Excellent execution of George's guitar work in the instrumental break !
George Harrison was such an underrated guitarist.
But continually copied...
Unfortunately George couldn’t play this originally at normal speed and George Martin had to get him to do it at half speed and then sped it up for the record.
The greatest, most iconic, and most beautiful 12 string electric guitar ever built...Rickenbacker!!
100% yes!
No 12
You mean most iconic 1 neck 12 string, right?
The Rick 12 is awesome, and I love my Rickenbackers, but if you have never seen, held, played a mid-70s Ovation 12-string Deacon, you don't know what you are missing! Wahi' Valleys

I like how you took the pick guard off of the casino it's looks sgt pepperish

wayne pitty taking the pick guard off would make practically no difference to the sound of the guitar. What are you on about
None of the Beatles had taken the pickguard off their Casinos yet when they recorded Pepper.

What a beautiful guitar! ❤️
I just spent the last 2mins & 57secs staring at that beautiful Rickenbacker and I think I'll do it again right now!

How is George underrated? Literally a GOAT to every guitarist ever.
this guy could play it live to a backing track. he's good .
Doug H. in VA Jan
Easily one of the best sounding and looking electric guitars ever made.
Great tone!
Also like that slow upward strum going into G, nice touch
This is awesome! You got the perfect Beatles tone!
That was awesome. I learn from you. I love the Beatles music and you are helping me learn to play it. Thanks so much.
Very cool! Thank you for sharing God bless everyone and happy Easter
The sound of that guitar was really what made A Hard Days Night so great
beautiful Rick and great sound.
Nailed it. One of my favorite leads ever.
I just wish this guy would come back.
Fantastic!!! The Rickenbacker guitar makes it sound so authentic. There is no substitute. Thanks for sharing.
I am in love with that guitar ...
The tone on that Rick is amazing. Very well played !
The Ricky is a masterpiece in itself.
Great job young man. The jangly sound of a 12 string is definitely the way to play this, especially if you are the only guitarist in the band
lennon was rhythm thats why there are two guitars in the solo
You have to be awarded the Guinness World for most fanatical Beatle fan! You get MY vote!
Hey can you please play the end by the Beatles because it has such a badass tone thanks!

Great Job and Great choice in guitars.....
Excellent job. Nothing like a Rick!
Nobody gets the solo correct. George moves to the 10th fret to play the triplets (on the A and D strings). Simply watch any live performance.
To record the solo they have slowed the tape to record both guitar (George HARRISON) and piano (George Martin)
And with Rickenbacker too, blimey,
well done lad 😀
Brits hate when you try to imitate them
Never enjoyed this so much. Only one word, Superb !
You make it look effortless. Love it.
BEAUTIFUL ! PERFECT!!!
