Congrats, Coast Cycles, on an engineering feat!...designing and building your own full suspension linkages. That is not easy. I must be honest though, the pivot points worry me with such large heavy tires. Typically the "unsprung weight" of full suspension bikes is a matter of grams but you're dealing with literal pounds bouncing up and down. I would recommend including replacement part options right off that bat so diy dudes can double up with spares because they'll need them after a few months of hard riding. Amazing machine though! Love the forethought for aftermarket mid-drive kits. You can be sure you'll see these bad boys out there with 1,000+ watt units.
Just preordered the frame. Currently thinking of using a BBSHD kit so I might be interested in a Coast Cycles wheelset if it's offered via Indiegogo or elsewhere at some point? :)
@@jxyzptlk Yeah I knew I had to act fast. I stumbled into it by chance late night checking on the launch and was #2 out of the first 8 frame kits. Had the impulse decision to buy first and figure it out later. Had a feeling it'd be sold out by morning. Was the lowest entry point so I gave in and went for it. Now have to think about how I want to dress it up. I know it's pricier for the specs for the full bike but also appreciate the work that went into the design. It'll be an educational project.
Yeah, we will need that extra cable length if you're going accomodate customers switching to taller BMX bars for a more personalized fit It may not "look as pretty" to have looser cable loops, but it _does_ let you customize Absolutely approve of your unresistricted battery mount plate and common drop out widths. That's a thing of beauty
@@ebikefansfo I did. They should be interesting companions for our Scramblers. I couldn't resist the raw frame, rear linkage suspension and slicks How's your '73 treating you? @@WindFireAllThatKindOfThing Haha! Yep, this is indeed an expensive hobby LOL! Mate X looks to be a very practical ebike with lots of on paper boxes checked for feature sets! Congrats! Yes I have been waiting for full suspension since riding the Super 73 where I soon realized on a bumpy patch how important it is. The '73 still looks and runs great and the BBSHD is a champ of a motor, I do have some creaking on throttle up which might mean some tightening of the bottom bracket. My Hyper suffers from some pedal assist stutter at 18-20 mph but has proven to be quite the versatile ebike. Did you get a full Buzzraw X ebike or just the frame kit? I got the frame kit and will be looking into ways to dress it up. It was a secure it first, think later situation otherwise the early birds would've been gone with any more indecision. :D Looking forward to sharing this experience with you! Cheers!
@@ebikefansfo Full ride. Pricey, even at the discount, but the battery is juicy. I was torn between this and a Polished Hyper. I don't have any throttle-only stutter on my Camp model, but obviously it isn't going as fast as yours. Cheers!

easily the best 20" Fat tire "mini bike" frame on the market...it is stupidly expensive but if you have it next to one of the alternatives you will see its simply a better frame, for DIY this is the best you can get , as for buying a "Ready To Ride" bike there are cheaper and faster options.

Wow. I just started looking at this style of "fun" bike. Looove your engineering and design.
why isn't the mid drive with belt available? not on your website. this makes me sad
Very proud of you bro! Made in Singapore! Hope this bike will go big. Wishing you success!

the fork seems to have a bit of wobble back and forth. are the fork legs too compliant?
Great video, would you compare the size of this bike to a smaller Super73 Z or the bigger Super73 R? Thanks
Hello!!! Do you know the Width and Rise for the handlebar? than you!!! for the review
Where to purchase link
buzzraw with engine and cvt.. superb!
Gas prices keep going up and I’m looking at my CBR thinking this is a great replacement. What do owners of these think Re: range/longevity?
Any clue what the BBSHD equipped BuzzrawX with shark pack weighs?
Duuude thats 💩ing on the super 73. 😳
Facts , it’s a wayyyyy better bike that the overpriced s73 🤦🏿♂️😂
Love to try this bike it looks so Legendary Awesome...
Its called paddle feed back when rear sus bounce and effect the paddle.
Does the raw color have a coating to prevent rust?
These look awesome do they come in midrive or only hub hey if you have office in Singapore can you ship to Vietnam
They come with 250w hub, 750w hub, or pedal

Agree I’d prefer an Ariel rider with 2 hub motors and up to 35mph
