First off, your daughter has excellent taste in music, and can say tricky words really well. This band is incredible. That bass - those harmonies - and especially the composition/arrrangement!! And of course the musicianship. I was on a musician ship once, but I was thrown overboard. It was a helluva note - I thought I was in a lot of treble.
I love your comment at 5:15. It's one of the main reasons I got into Japanese rock/metal in the first place, but Gacharic Spin are perhaps the ultimate example. They are playing in many genres but it feels like it's one genre.
By the way, your daughter is a child prodigy at this reaction business! Just teach her to say "like, comment and subscribe" and she can start her own channel. She also has excellent taste.
The old drummer (Hana) switching from guitar to drums, whilst the new drummer (Yuri) moving from the acoustic set to the e-drums mid-song, that's just a thing they do, because they can LOL
I'll follow your journey, when you discover other sides of them (there are many).

You have much to catch up with this band. Wait til you discover the morph into Doll $ Boxx. Basically the same lineup plus the singer, Fuki, from Unlucky Morpheus. Take My Chance being the first track. Myfav being Toy Soldiers, live excellent stuff.
You must check out their song I wish I😁 another style but amazing. This band is soooo good. It is a crime that not more people know about them.
It should be declared a crime that the following of this outstanding band is still so relatively small after all these years. I currently know of no other band that has more personality/attitude or spreads more energy and joy than these ladies. And that even without understanding every word of what they sing. It just doesn't matter! ... However, if you take a closer look at the lyrics to their songs, you will notice that they are actually much deeper and profound than you might think.
I hope that also thanks to this competition, a bit of a wave will be started and GS will get the attention they deserve. 🙏🏻
Oh, and don't think after 2 songs, you know what to expect with these ladies. You don't! :) Many will recommend the MV to 'I Wish I' at this point, but I suggest taking a look at their live performances of 'Tamashii'. Plural because I also mean the Toy Instruments version. :)

Kachi-Kachi Yama refers to some Japanese Volk Tales . The Title of the Song being one of them. ( Others: The Crab and the Monkey / Issun Boshi / Momotaro / Kintaro ) As said in the Mindset Reaction " I Wish I " is totally different and Tamashii Live is a must : 2 Drummers 3 Vocalists. Angie , Hana and Oreo taking Turns in singing , btw Hana playing one Drum Set while doing this and Yuri ( 2 Drummer ) is as happy as Akane , aways smiling. I don´t get why they have so few followers 🙄 Maybe too unconventional ?
Idk Tool is pretty unconventional, and they're super popular. I think it might have more to do marketing than anything else.
I also don't know what they're live support is like. Just because a band doesn't have massive commercial success, doesn't mean they don't have a rabid and loyal live following for their shows.
@@JON.HOUSE24 They have a very faithful fanbase i guess. Just tought being around since 2009 , 50.000 Subscribers in not much.
