the content from the Council of Architecture's meeting last year regarding the revised academic calendar for the 2023-2024 academic session: In simple terms, the COA is making architecture education more flexible by allowing students to enter and exit the course at different stages. They are reducing the course duration and introducing new exams that will determine who can practice as an architect or work in related fields. This is a major shift that will affect how future architects are trained and licensed in India.

Whenever COA implements any changes , it will be declared through a public notice in newspapers.

B.Arch ka haal bohot bekar he no good jobs after passing so abhi PCM chodke sab le rahe he.
This is mostly because of decrease in B.Arch Admissions

Architects Act 1972 की विभिन्न धाराओं में स्पष्ट रूप से बताया गया है कि कोई भी (Registered) आर्किटेक्ट किसी भी अन्य Architect के हितों के विरुद्ध काम नहीं करेगा.
इस तरह के कार्य को Professional misconduct माना जायगा.
अब गैर Architect को मात्र एक इम्तिहान "exam C" के आधार पर COA द्वारा Architectural Engineer की तरह registration प्रदान कर के "limited practice" के नाम पर Architectural Services देने के लिए अधिकृत करने की योजना सभी Registered Architects के हितों के खिलाफ कार्य करना है.
इस तरह के प्रस्ताव बनाने वाले और उसे पारित करने वाले सभी महानुभाव Professional misconduct के दोषी और सजा के हकदार हैं.
Acts can be amended as per the ease. Don't cry about it! It will give opportunities and jobs to lot of people who are trying to get into this field.

I think yes becoz nata is entrance exam for degree but ull will get lateral entry as per new rules.

I welcome this, this terminology should be implemented in all the fields, Exam centric approach and multiple entry exits enables any candidates to switch their career ant any point of time. 90% people are having different education than their profession. this approach will be a game changer in education system, which was worst till now.

If they are going to implement this rule for architecture course so they should also implement one rule that's architecture student should also get placement as university doesn't give placement because we get directly licence after five year but they implement this law we have to give exam for licence by this rule architecture student will suffer as they have to डबल मेहनत and which is not fair as they don't get placement form university and by this rule they will not get licence also

CoA से ज्यादा जिम्मेदार IIA वाले हैं. IIA के representative के नेतृत्व में कमेटी बनी. CoA की EC में IIA प्रतिनिधियों ने इसे पास किया.
अब September 2023 में CoA की मीटिंग में पारित प्रस्ताव पर एक साल से सब चुप क्यों हैं...

"Post Diploma in architecture" 1979/.1980 qualifications where standing under COA list of qualifications???
It's ok to change in criteria but it should had not be introduced exam. they must focus on the architects who practice in small cities and towns...already architect have not value in small cities...their all work get hijacked by civil engineers and builders even though they don't give a good service. this is unfortunate that CoA is going to take very wrong decision... after this implementation...there'd be more chaos...everywhere we'll see the title of architect and will lose the dignity as an architect. very disappointing decision. I hope Architects stand against that and will make CoA to roll back all decisions.
