People who criticize these cars in my opinion criticize them because they are scared to think outside the box. The Maserati, Alphas and all the Italian brands are phenomenal

A lot high performance sedans can hit 200+ MPH, example, CT5-V Blackwing. Most high performance sedans such as, BMW M5 CS, AMG E63 and etc. have electronic speed limiters due to tire speed ratings.

Nice car for sure. Ron any idea what is different with the ultima to get the extra speed? Seems power is the same. Did they change gearing?
I think the ultima is just a spec name, since all the ultimas seem to have white paint and black rims.
Not sure but Ive been trying to figure out that as well because its the same performance figures besides that top speed. Not sure how they got an extra 5 out of it. Maybe a tune?

I test drove a regular Maserati Ghibli a few years ago, I think it was a 14 or 15. It's way too fast for me! I mean I'm in my 40's and I still don't think I'm mature enough for this type of car. I would have to create an account just to pay speeding tickets! I mean it was exhilarating, very fun to drive, a true 4 door sports car. But it wasn't as responsive as far as steering and handling for a car of this caliber.

@@NafisR08 the ghibli will beat the m5 cs at 100 mph likely, and this is because the weight well make the launch worse on the ghibli, same for rwd, but once its up and going it will beat the hell out of that m5.
