I watched this very carefully and what it confirmed for me was that SatNavs can be misleading if you don't know where you're going ie going somewhere for the first time. Although they're very useful they are prone to mistakes. Thanks for sharing the pros and cons with us. Educational.
One of the trickiest is not that satnav telling u to the wrong turn but what lane to... Choose to prepare the turn / junction. A lot of people missed the turn because the lane preparation is not 100% accurate. As far as i know KIA has the best sat nav lane selection system. Never the less ur video help a lot of us to drive with Satnav
Great advice about ignoring voice. One of the overlooked things about the decision to include sat nav on test, is that nobody in real life, follows a sat nav without knowing their destination. This changes the sat nav's role on test, from being a tool to assist, into an absolute.
on my test the satnav sa8d after 300yards turn right, when I looked at the satnav the turn was still appearing a bit far, as I driving pass the turn it rerouted and and said turn right and I have passed already
OMG the state of the roads...is this typical of England these days? the tyre rumble was almost as loud as the voice, perhaps I have lived in France for too long with silky smooth roads & no road tax, anyway nice explanation of GPS.

Good video about driving with navigation. I also find the teaching and professionality of the driver outstanding.

Correct. It differs between different countries within the UK.
