Thank you for your smiley friendly uplift talk. Yes routines can be good. Also note taking helps me but not as good and visual as yours. I go to the same cafe Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sit in the same seat and time myself to stay there one and a half hours while I look at my iPad. Now here is something a bit more crazy. Each morning I get up at 7.54 am. Not 7.55am but 7.54am. I make myself a cuppa, do quick exercises go back to bed and get up at 8.25 not 8.30 but 8.25. I dance a bit and meditate at 10am. I have biscuits Monday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon about 3pm. I have to note things down to remember to do stuff. Sometime notes are on top of each other. I write notes which remind me to look at other notes.
I love this! I recently invested in an Alexa on recommendation from a Facebook group that said they find it helpful to have notes etc. I ask it to add stuff to my shopping list, set reminders, add events to my calendars, check the weather (which I never remember to do!). I understand why a lot of people don’t like using Alexa’s and similar things but I find it helpful! I also have post it notes everywhere. I find it no use writing on my phone notes or in a book/diary as I won’t remember to check those things to look at my notes, it has to be always visual so I am constantly reminded. The post it notes help with that! And I have a pack of them and a pen dotted around the house at different places so I always can write stuff down when I think of them! 🙃
You said that about getting distracted by Facebook, Instagram and UA-cam and I said shoot I gotta stop watching this video right now and get off UA-cam! 😂 I am so distracted!
A routine that helps me thrive? Giving up on making my bed. My dog uses my pillows and blankets to make herself her own bed when I am out. So it's just easier to dismantle that at night rather than go through the futile effort of making my bed in the morning.

I have heard of Alex.

Oops haha!

I get that completely! What’s the point when it only gets messy again haha. Whatever works for you 😊🙃
