Yeah unless I need lootcrates I normally skip the swimming, someone in the comments did say they came across mobs in the tunnel before so be aware of that before you unhook your grapple!
thank you for this video. I did step by step and got my artifact. I was able to jump with my baryonyx trough narrow road that leads artifact and killed mobs there too. I would prob have heartattack there walking without dino lol.

Those would be great additions, I didn’t add an extra dino because of the new cryopod meta and leaving your tame out near the start of the cave I don’t know if it’s just me but my tame keeps teleporting out of the cave like right up through the ground 🫠 then gets attacked by wild Dino’s I generally don’t plan on dying on runs but a sleeping bag would be ideal if you’re doing a full run!
damnnn your grapple strat is beyond insane. combine that with a stag and you dont need to bring med brews cus flyers wont damage your player character, and you dont need a bary cus no need to swim since the loot here is mehhhhh
@@darealsnurbs2403 currently working on that this weekend to close off the island, quite tricky to solo, trying find a doable way with least amount of tames and resources

I’m not sure but I’ve noticed sometimes i fall like a couple of meters then I get like bungee’d in split second where I go high then hit the ground and take a lot of fall damage for basically not that much distance fallen

Yes sometimes mobs spawn there I tend to be lucky and get no mobs most of the time 🤣 I’m glad you made it safely!!!

Only tip would be bring a second dino to the front of the cave it could be a long walk back on official if you dont. And maybe a sleeping bag.

All you do is take a Gen a cryofridge find a spot close. Use 3 foundation close it up and boom just only turn Gen on to throw out tames boom
@@damianmlamb there’s almost never any spots on official close enough cuz try hards claim all the cave areas for some reason

The part where you grapple into, you can climb your bary up that wall into the hole. Easiest way. No need for grapple or anything

Hiiii small tip from a beginner, if u dont wanna lose any dinos i recomend using a deino, u dont get any fall damage and u can just jump back up :D

Did they change the way tames take fall damage now? These assholes couldn't give us the whole game but could easily make it harder.
