According to knetz who were at the show, Treasure gave one of the more memorable performances of the night. They also sang one of their b-sides, RUN right after they sang King Kong and the crowd got even more hyped. Please do check it out.
I think what sets YG’s music apart, aside from dancing the beat of their own drum, is that each song is made with a live performance in mind. Hence the perennial anthem at the end but also the strong focus on showmanship and live performances rather than perfectly intricate choreography. Their arrangements may not be everyone’s cup of tea but in a live setting, it really allows the artists ample opportunities to engage with their audience. Live vocals are always a staple and you always feel like you got your money’s worth after a concert regardless if you’re a hard stan or just a casual listener.
THE GREEN HAIRED GUY NAMED HYUNSUK AND THE ONE WHO WERE GROWLING IS JIHOON. THEY ARE THE LEADERS.
Their bsides were more applauded by the general public, most of their bside track were produced by the members.

TREASURE is known in for their Vocals and live singing in the kpop scene. They always bring energetic, hyped and good vocals wherever they go. They even perform without backtrack in SUMMER SONIC in Japan and they were on the Main Stage as one of the Main Performers. They got live some live performance on their channel from their concerts. I think Treasure is very underrated bcoz of the hate they are getting and we really don't know why. But yes they are one of the Group with BEST VOCALS and sings live during their performance.

The green hair dude is Choi Hyunsuk. He is the oldest member & one of the leader of Treasure and one of the main rapper.
The growly guy is Park Jihoon. He is the other co-leader of Treasure. One of the main/lead vocals and one of main dancers.

I attended severals concerts of kgroups but treasure concerts hits differents. The live vocals and hype that I want to feel moreeeee again and again.
This is why I'd go out of my way to watch Treasure concert every time! It's not just their live singing - it's their whole chemistry and artistry on stage.

The growl-y guy (2:27 , 5:22) is JIHOON. You'll notice that aside from being a core vocalist, he's also a core dancer (He leads the first part of the dance break 9:53) His breath management is impeccable, given his central roles in both vocals and dance (he also handles a lot of the vocal adlibs). His fancams never disappoint!!
Their second song 'RUN' was more raw and was definitely what shocked most people. You should check it out 🔥🔥🔥
Jihoon, the guy you pointed out in the first pre-chorus with the growl has really improved a lot vocally. He was good but after Yedam left he had to take a lot more of the vocal lines and my guy worked a lot to be able to deliver.
I think one big thing about YGE is that they always have the live performance in mind when doing songs. They think about what can be done live, how they can incorporate the choreo to still be able to focus on the singing, when it's possible to have difficult lines and when it's not or simply how to give the possibility to let go of the choreo and simply hype the crowd like in the outro of this song. It can be limiting in some aspect for the songs but it gives you this kind of results when it comes to live performances.
While some companies will think more about making the song catchy, able to go viral at the expense of giving a song that the group can sing live

I've been a teume (treasure fandom) since their YGTB era and this group really worked their vocals and performance to sing live effortlessly .
Their live performances are sooo good they made the kwave concert their own concert especially the second permance RUN it was so hype and energetic and not to forget the godly vocalsssss
They also performed with handmikes and without in ears at their combackstage and still sounded great

The guy you noticed with the 'growly' belt in the 1st half of the song is Park Jihoon. He is one of the leaders of Treasure - along with Choi Hyunsuk, the rapper with green hair.
Park Jihoon is not only a great vocalist, but also an amazing dancer.

what i mostly appreciate from them is they never stop becoming trainee.. they went on tour with crazy schedules, they get back, went to YG and train their vocals more 🤯 and just now jihoon said that he attending british english class now, starting this next friday.. They even performed in music show without in ears recently while dancing and singing live. You might not have seen them a lot thats why you keep mentioning the other group. But Treasure has been doing this since they debuted. You should check videos of their concert starting with Trace. Or even their fan meeting during pandemic. What I am trying to say is I hope you will really watch their growth as a performer. They are an amazing set of individuals molded into one amazing group.

according to some of the attendees, treasure was the one who made an impact.
Imagine them doing that for 2-3 hours in their concerts because that’s exactly what they did in Manila, Hong Kong and Bangkok. They start with songs that have difficult choreography too then they bring out their unit stages. Once the encore hits, they give out 4-5 more songs of that calibre.

The only regret i had going to their concert is the fact that i only have 2 eyes and cannot see each of them at the same time..if their live vocal performances is the 'main course' then they got a lot of 'side dishes' comedy skit on the sides ..these group would even have some 'tea sharing' or they would tease each while performing and you will not see all those moments cause you can only 2 eyes..thats where the fun of watching fancams comes in..

You can check their concert in japan. Japan is known for not being showy in terms of enjoying while attending concerts but in treasure concert you can see how they(treasure) infected by the energy (what you said) and them to enjoyed the rest of their life😂

If u want more singing Live they performed on “it’s Live” and Jeongwoo also made some covers on a tv show (available on UA-cam) called “Begin Again” he performed/ covered songs with Wendy from Red Velvet, Isaac Hong and Lee Boram. Ive been lucky enough to have seen Treasure in concert thrice here in the Philippines, and let me tell you, these boys have amazing live performances. Their energy is infectious!
But what really stands out to me is how much fun they bring to the stage. In a way, it reminds me of how Bigbang back in the day was always able to be silly and fun while giving amazing live vocals.
Treasure is a great group to watch. Their personalities really shine. I hope to see more reactions here.
Treasure have been praised for their live vocals pretty much since debut - maybe its just a yg thing because they send them on tours so much that they need to be able to perform live and have stage presence. I'm so glad they're getting more recognition for their talents!!

What people expect from TREASURE is their 100%live performance except when they are not in good condition they will use some backtrack (they always do live since debut except to be honest in their very first time music show i think they used really loud backtrack lol😅) . 90% of the fandom prefer to watch their live version than the studio/MV
U need to watch the second performance "RUN" cuz thats what most people that attend & watch kwave like also watch their "Let it Burn + I Want Your love" Performance in Japan it was like my fav from them until now (there's no choreo but pure having fun & 100% live vocals)
