I think you guys are right. They are going in the right direction with King Kong. Not focusing on making Americans/Westerners happy has hurt them. They are too heavily focused on Japan although we are thankful how well loved they are in Japan. And they don't comeback often enough. It takes too long and fans get tired of waiting. Most other groups comeback twice a year but this is just a digital single and it's been 10 months since their last comeback.

Here are my thoughts about this song.. I've been listening to TREASURE's music since GOING CRAZY so KINGKONG was definitely something very different from what I've heard them do before. The song, honestly, didn't hit me huge the first few times I've heard it.. However, after listening and watching the MV again and again (coz I needed to focus on a lot of things at a time), it started growing on me. It started hitting me bad and now I'm crazy for it! Like legit crazy! Then after pondering more about it for a bit, hearing both good and not-so-good feedback from people around me, it made me realize that THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A VERY GOOD THING. TREASURE's maturing so their music would naturally mature too, as well as change. They can't be stuck in the same formula forever and I'm just happy that I'm here to witness it. This made me look forward to their upcoming album even more. I also do hope that they get more opportunities on your side of the world because TREASURE, their music, and their skills deserve to be seen by everyone! ❤

Let's be real... if TRS wants to hit in the US, they need to do (1) sex it up -- skins, muscles and all. That's what the other groups have that TRS doesnt, well Jihoon and JH are close. TRS is still very in the late teenage image and needs to amp it up more. And (2) hip hop route like VolKno. That's gonna eat so hard. More hip hop, grungy, edgy. More YG. They're almost there with KINGKONG, its gonna hit. But they need more, hopefully in the next album at the end of the year.
