- In this video, I am showing you how to make a tablescape. That is romantic and yet traditional using a mix of different patterns and colors. It's a little bit fun and whimsical, as well as romantic.

Thank you, I've learned you Can pair different colors together more than people realize. With the trend being so monochromatic for the last several years. I think people are looking for something different with color and now we have to relearn how to put colors together, because it seems strange when all we've had is mostly Gray whites and beiges for many years now. And so I am hoping to help bring color back into our decorating. I once made a tablescape using lemon yellow and red. Very odd combination. But it was really neat when I was done. Thank you so much! I'm glad I've been able to help you over the years with some ideas. Yes, 9 years ago, when I started my channel. My children filmed me and then edited it for me. Until they said mom, we're not gonna keep doing this. You figure out how to do it yourself, LOL. So I learned how to film and edit it, for myself. But as far as any technical stuff with a computer, I still can't do it. It's all done on my phone LOL. I am creative but not technical. I am definitely technical challenged. Thanks for watching dear. You certainly have the gift for this my dear & i think that you should be made an honorary English woman or ambassador for this gift you have , i live in a old country thatched cottage in Hampshire ( built 1795 ish ) and would like your ideas , opinion on things decor wise .
Thank you, Peter. That means the world to me. Well, I am part English, my great-great? How many grates back to 1631? Came from Wiltshire, England To America. I truly believe you are so blessed to be living in a lovely thatched cottage. They are the prettiest homes to me that I have ever seen. In America they're illegal. We're not allowed to have thatched roof's. The only Thatched roofs we have in America are the ones in the New England states that are authenticated from the 16- 1700s. My family lineage is the Macy's. Roland H Macy, who started the Macy department store in the 1800s. Was my great-great uncle. But unfortunately he sold the business to the Strauss family also in the 1800s. So I have no claim to the Macy's wealth LOL. About 5 or 6 years ago I came to England and I went to Wiltshire Area, in fact, chill mark, to see if I could figure out anything about my Macy Family linage. But unfortunately I didn't have time to find anything out. Because we were trying to get to see all the wonderful sites we could see. So while I was there, I truly looked deeply at the English design as much as I could and truly came home inspired. And I totally fell in love with England and I do hope and pray I can go back again Some day. I truly would love to come and help decorate your beautiful cottage. That would be a dream come true.❤️ But ask me some questions on what you need Help with, and maybe I can give you some suggestions. maybe? Anyway, thank you love for watching, you take care.
