I really like Slateskin Lotion tbh, it was a while back but the upgrade essentially carried my seconds tempoless run. I've actually never tried the face tank kinda playstyle, but throwing on an earth potion with the upgrade can help you not get staggerlocked on higher difficulty. Imo the stats for subject can't really be gathered accurately bc people only use 1-3 types of pots at max so it's likely that none of the upgrades are relevant and in that case, a random one is chosen and I think Slateskin Lotion just happens to be the least picked.
About vestige, the most picked isn't circulation, the % you put there is from Conjure: cascade! And circulation is one of the most popular because of the cascade synergy (all bullets from the rain bounce, dealing absurd amounts of damage), we also got the fact that before the Buffoon update, it was accurate. Also, when was the piano buff? Because I don't see it in changelogs... Edit: I checked in game and yes, I don't know when, but it was buffed so it one shots any enemy in the game.
Aspect of frost is decent imo, slows melee attackers which is vital for buffoon being a ranged character If your going for survivability which is viable for only seconds mode
Immolate is actually a really good upgrade in endless timeless mode because first Invader is a m1s host so you need to be in close range already so having extra 9 damages is absolutely good especially when you're oppenent is Vestige or Buffoon. Both of the mentioned hosts are ranged ones and literal counter to Invader with certain upgrades so getting as much value from each interaction is priceless hence why Immolate is good. Also the increased duration of invader Q is great. Again in Endless Timeless, you can't just wait 16 secs for the Q to pop up again and if you try to just run it down to keep it up then you will most likely to die, this is why Immolate is good. I think Invader just isn't popular among the other hosts cause its seen as a "new player" host but i think it have alot of potentials to grow especially if you can get great upgrades. (Note: I only use mobile and melee host. For invader Endless Timeless, I'm at level 19 in weeks mode and 15 in hours)
