the main lead guitarists were Dilip Naik, Gorakh Sharma and Bhupinder. Electric guitar was used extensively by Laxmikant Pyarelal, OP Nayyar, Shankar Jaikishan, Salil Choudhary, and RD Burman.
Absolutely phenomenal podcast. As a guitarist myself, I can understand the evolution of the use of guitar in Indian film industry. 😅😅 The last piece by former Indian Ocean lead guitarist Susmit Sen is a really amazing composition, especially Chord progression and tone.
Amazing Sir, Bahot maja aaya aap ka podcast dekh kar, bahot kuch Sikhne ko mila Aaj Punit Sir ke interview se, aise hi aur bhi Music podcast Daaliyega Sir 🙏 and Thank you So much for this Knowledgeable Video 😍🙏
I am a Singer and Anchor..everytime i sing with any orchestra i pay gratitude to all musicians without which no body can perform . They cover the mistakes of singer and also suppport it by rhythm etc Even i give thanks to those making karaoke tracks for us..❤❤ Nice pod cast & very well expained by puneet bhai..👍👍👍
I had purchased this same yamaha silent guitar in year 2016 while touring for my concerts in Indonesia. Really On That There Are only 4-5 Guitar Are Available In India..But I was lucky to purchase it from Jakarta, Still using this for my live concerts... - Amit Kacher
India mei musicians ko koi valuable nahi mante hai, yeh hai weakness. Without musicians koi film's bana sakte?, Koi singers famous ban sakte?. Joh log musicians hai woh sab Promote karna bahut zaroori hai. Thanks for interview
Lovely podcast! Hatss of to Punit and also all guitarist who played the evergreen intros in bollywood. Magical! Hope they get more on screen recognition
Thank you for this podcast for such a humble, down to earth and extremely talented musician. It’s great that because of this podcast many people would know about Punit now and I will definitely follow him online 👍
The Hit song - Ek Pal Ka Jeena in Kaho Na Pyar Hai is completely composed by a guitarist name "Kalyan Baruah" But entire credit goes to Rajesh Roshan... who has no clue about the music in the song. It is said that, Rajesh asked Lucky ali to compose a tune for the song... and Lucky Ali went to Kalyan Baruah for the tune. Overnight Kalyan Baruah recorded the tune and went to Rajesh Roshan next day. They loved it so much kept it as it is in the movie....!!! 🙂🙂🙂
Ek pal ka jeena originally created by Luck Ali in his private album long time back before the KNPH, and sung by Him only in KNPH. Just like it is said in this vlog o o jane jana was originally created by Kamal khan cousin of Salman khan and published in an album later on in the movie Pyar kiya to darna kya the same song with some more changes was recorded and sung by Kamal Khan only jn the movie.
Puneet sir apka jawaab nahi aap jab guitaar play karte hain to apke baare main kuch bhi kehna musgqeel hain puneet ji apke kitna achha guitaar play karte hain sunkar man kush ho jata hai, puneetji aap bada sharp bajate hain apka guitaar ka voice sunkar poore man ke taar jhan jhana uthte hai. Thank you so much itna achha guitaar sunane ke liye. Ishwar apko bada naam de aur aap poori duniya main naam ho.
Too good! Absolutely loved this podcast.. hats of to the whole team👏👏👏 always and always proud of you Punit! You're such an amazing human and a musician. 🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️
It's sad that most YTube videos have names of actors, instead of singer, composer and lyricist. Few musicians get recognized. Only now some videos mention names of musicians who actually played the original.
Good show and good host.....i think if you show the artist photo as well that would actually create more impact. As we might have seen them in various shows playing but we don't know the names. Thanks.
Good that you brought such artists on your channel. Bring other hidden instrumentalists on your channel from industry. They will get recognition and we get an opportunity to meet such talents. Thanks again
I miserably fail to understand why these highly talented background musicians don't ever gets the recognition they deserve.casting at the end of movies just like so many pre and post production team members.
Punit is a very good human being and a very soothing guitar player as well.. but one thing really bugged me that the interviewer didn’t give him a single compliment for the stuff he played.. it was a bit obnoxious.
Fantastically presented. However, on the cover banner we can see another brilliant guitarist(shown as X on Salman and a tick on that guitarist) He is Tushar Parte...another extraordinary but lesser known guitarist who's played some mind blowing guitar riffs in Bollywood songs. Many of them for Bappi Lahiri, RD Burman, Jatin Lalit, Vishal Bhardwaj, Pritam etc. He's the son of the legendary arranger of Kalyanji Anandji and guru of Viju Shah...Mr. Jaikumarji Parte. Please feature Tushar in your next podcast
Yeh instrument jitna smple & attracts korte hain utna hi zada hardest. I am playing guitar since 18 years & still learning the never ending process called GUITAR
Himesh reshmiya also had great guitarist. Songs like tere naam, Maine Dil tumhe de diya o sanam, aap ki sabhi gustakhiya maaf karta hai dil, o piya o piya,
The actual forgotten musicians who recorded for bollywood were from goa like Chris Perry, Chic Chocolate etc and they dont even get mentioned today seriously what a joke.
He failed to play any scale on one string when the host asked him to play and you think his statement holds any value😂😂😂😂. It's unfortunate that such people are providing such incomplete information. Strat came much later les paul by Gibson which was hand crafted. And the intro which he played was originally used in summer holiday.
Very humble and true artist
Best thing is, he is taking names of all but he is a very good and humble player
the main lead guitarists were Dilip Naik, Gorakh Sharma and Bhupinder. Electric guitar was used extensively by Laxmikant Pyarelal, OP Nayyar, Shankar Jaikishan, Salil Choudhary, and RD Burman.
So true
Ramesh iyyer ,Sunil Kaushik,, Vijay Iyyer, Narendra salaskar inko kaise bhul sakte hain??
Absolutely phenomenal podcast. As a guitarist myself, I can understand the evolution of the use of guitar in Indian film industry. 😅😅 The last piece by former Indian Ocean lead guitarist Susmit Sen is a really amazing composition, especially Chord progression and tone.

The actual forgotten musicians who recorded for bollywood were from goa like Chris Perry, Chic Chocolate etc and they dont even get mentioned today seriously what a joke.
Absolutely right - ua-cam.com/video/7nye5XmLV6w/v-deo.htmlsi=iRjGeHWfApt6_D1U

Very nice information
Great! Please inform audience that you are playing chords and beats as a background when you are playing.
Even in this show we are not introducing his supporting background guitarist accompanying...
Some unknown unsung heroes ❤🎸🎸
Because there is no background guitarist. The Layering has been done by Punit only via Loop Pedal.
From Kota factory to podcast .....Well done baibhav❤❤😂
Bhayi ko boliye ki jo bhi artist ka name liya jaye unki ek pick bhi dikha diya jaye taki hm log artist ko pahchan ske 🙏🙏
Urreeeeeehhh humko yehi lag raha tha kaha dekha yeh chehra, tab yeh comment pop out hua
Fantastic Podcast 👍🏻 But some background sound noises very annoying..Like Ambulance, People talking....Plzz Used Sound proof
Mandoline pe janam janam song by Arijit ka intro bhi hain
